Basicly i have a list of information and i need to be able to enter a start data in one cell and a end date in a different cell and then return all the dates between them.

I am attempting to place a formula in cell b3 in the attached spreadsheet on the "sheet to pull data into" tab 1 (cell is highlighted yellow) to retrieve value in the yellow highlighted cell in the "Sheet that contains data" which is on a seperate worksheet within the same workbook.

The cells highlighted red in the "sheet to pull into" tab (cells: a1, a3, b1, and b3) are the criteria that needs to be matched to those cells on "sheet that contains data" tab in order to ensure the value returned is correct.Sample of problem.xlsx <----see the attached sample spreadsheet.

Certification and Training tracking.xlsx

I want to create a certification only list on a separate tab of training that has been completed where a certification has been issued (as indicated by a "Y" in the "Certification?" column on the training tracking tab) and then populate from some of the fields vs. all of the fields.

What I have now, only pulls the first occurence, not all occurences. I saw that I could have identified the multiple columns that needed to be populated, but it didn't work either, so I'm fine putting a separate vlookup in each column.

I am trying to connect a special date and a price to a special name (please see the attached file).

In sheet 1 I have the following:
- In column A I have a set of different names.
- In column B I have a set of different dates.
- In column C I have a set of different prices on bonds that off course refers to the different names at their respective dates.

In rest of the sheets I want an overview of the different bonds, and what their prices are at the exact date. The problem is that if I use the vlookup it is only the first value that will be extracted. How can I get all of the prices corresponding to the different dates to the correct bond. I also want the possibility to update this every day.

I am using the below formula but the data that is being returned is not the correct data for the specific employee. C5 is the employee name (last name, first name) in a single cell. I've found a nice looking formula for looking up multiple values from a Data Validation List which you can find here.

Unfortunately I dont know why im getting a #REF! error for one of my spreadsheets. Here is my Formula {=SUM(VLOOKUP(A2,D:D,{6,7,8},0))}

A2 is the Data Validation drop down list that has most of the Values (Letters & Numbers) I want to look up. D:D is where it will find the Values (Letters & Numbers) and {6,7,8} is the currency I want added up and displayed.

I've tried this formula on other spreadsheets with success, but no success with the spreadsheet im working on currently.

I am using the following formula:

=IFERROR(INDEX(drange,SMALL(IF(AND(qrange="SH",trange>30),ROW()-6),ROW(A1))),"")

to return the name (drange) of a person who was visited by "SH" (qrange), more than 30 days ago (trange).

There are faults in my formula, and if I'm honest I don't entirely understand it !

I need to return all of the names of people who were visited by "SH" more than 30 days ago. So I need the next value, and the next which is also over 30, by copying the formula down to the next cell and the next. My problem is that I get the first value (which is correct) and then the next ones are blank.

To make matters worse, the first value I get is only correct if i DON'T enter it as an array. If I do enter it as an array, I get the first row of the spreadsheet.

I'm basically working from 3 sheets for this so I'll start with an example of the data I'm using:

1st sheet:

Basically I'm trying to find column #3 value in my third sheet and return the second column value. Problem is that the data is located more than once in the third sheet so I need the value of each one of them. So, with this example, Q5942X is located twice in the third sheet and each time, it has a quantity of 2. I would need either to return the value 2 twice horizontally or even better, add the two together. The first sheet, the example is row #45.

This formula should be in the column following "majoration".

I am using excel 2007 and windows 7.

I am trying to use queries I have been running in MS SQL Server Management Studio, to return data in Excel where it would display as pivot. Some queries I was able to use through Excel but few others are not returning anything.

I want to set up an automatic sensitivity analysis such as the one shown in example.doc attached, using my model that is attached (inventory model. zip). Going horizontally in the sensitivity analysis, I want to show 2H (3Q and 4Q) Sales Growth (30%, 35, 40,45,50,55,60%) and vertically I want to show 2Q Inventory Growth (50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 80%) and I want the inside data to return sales/inventory spread ( multiple). Basically it would divide the dollar growth in sales in 2H by the dollar growth in inventory and return a multiple. Is it possible to set this up automatically using the data that I have here?

Days Between Two Dates Separated Into Days Per Month For Multiple Dates - Excel

I wanted to determine the number of days between two dates. Specifically, if the initial date is in one month, and the second is in a different month and an output would result a number of days in each month until the final date. BUT I have a large amount of data to do this for in a list view, way to put a formula in excel and just drag down the entire list to get the required information. see below for an example.

The result I'm looking for is the separate the months and only show the relevant months between the two dates in one cell or the adjacent. Something similar to the table outlined below.

I'm looking to simply find a function that allows me to lookup a certain value in a table of data and return the value in a specific column. So if I looked up the current date, 6/27/2011, it would return the week it is in (26). I dont want to be limited to just the monday column however, as the dates I will be throughout the entire week. Is there an easy way to do this in excel 2007?

I am using Windows xp and Excel 2007. I'm creating a user form and have a vlookup formula that goes to a table and looks up calories and sodium based on the text entered by the user. My problem is that I want to be able to populate the 3 columns with information and then sum the values that are returned to the Calories and Sodium columns. Is that possible with Vlookup?

Excel 2007 :: Multiple VLookup In One Cell?

I am trying to get one cell to look at different sheets. if the first sheet doesn't have a value, than look in the next sheet. current formula is

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(Q2,'sheet2'!$D$2:$K$1807,7,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(Q2,sheet2'!$D$2:$K$1807,7,FALSE))

I am having cell return blank if no value is found. it is currently looking only at one sheet.

I don't want it to combine the values like this formula does.
=(VLOOKUP(Q2,'sheet3'!$D$2:$K$200,7,FALSE)&","&VLOOKUP(Q24,'sheet2'!$D$2:$K$1807,7,FALSE)) #.###,##.##

sheet 1 is where the cell I am writing the formula is in, and I want to look in sheet 2, 3, and possible 4 for a value, I want to only have the greatest value show between the sheets. is this possible.

I am using excel2007.

As long as the lookup value is true the formula works but if the lookup value is false then I get #value! when it tries to multiply by D14. How do i get the formula to return a blank cell or 0 value if the lookup value is false?
