Extract Web Data From Part Of Page

I would like to extract some data from a web page, but only part of it. The website is:
[url]
and I have a spreadsheet with many different ProjectId hyperlinks in a column (the final six-digit number). All I want is the large block of text that is in the middle of the page. Sometimes there is no text, as in:
[url]
So I don't know how to deal with that either...
I would just like to paste the text into a cell adjacent to the hyperlink. I know that there is a visibility issue with 1024 characters, but can cope with that (no text will be longer than the 32k+ chars).
Any help would be appreciated - it's for my wife's PhD, and I just want to make it easier on her. I am reasonably ok with macros, but am by no means expert! If you need clarification,

As part of a research project i need to extract as much data as possible from a webpage. The problem is to access each table i have to follow lots of links which I can't get to work automatically.
Its from a greyhound-data.com. So an example would be I want to extract all the racing stats for every dog that raced in swindon between 1st jan 2010-1st feb 2010. When i put it in the search engine I get 512 races in a table. I have to follow the link on name of race for each race.. Then I have to follow the link for each dog in the racers box, 6 for each race. Then when i'm on the dogs page theres a link saying on the top of the page saying a nember of races eg. 67races (number will vary for each dog). If I press that I get a list of all the racing stats for that dog. Its that table i need. But i also need the dogs name as a constant column. I need the table for each of the 6 dogs for each race out of the 512.. So in total 3072 tables.. It a lot of data and I have no idea how to get it?!
My biggest problem is I don't know how to say follow the various links. And I don't know how to loop multiple times - once for each of the races in the original list and then for the 6 dogs.

I have some cells with text entered in column A.
These cells contain a time reference either in '09:30 - 16:30' format or just an 'AM/PM' format.
What I need to do is to populate column B with the part of the string that comes AFTER the times in the text (either in hh:mm format or AM/PM format)
Example
336 Data 2012 Classroom Induction 2012/08/28 09:30 - 16:30 data about this ------> data about this

I cannot get this to work and cannot use Text To column as there is no character I can use to split it.

I would like to know if there is an option available which will allow me to reference a cell on the active sheet and print it as part of the sheet header. The contents of this cell change often so the header should also reflect the change when the sheet is printed. Also, this header should be alinged in the center.

I need to extract the part of formula in a cell. How can I do that?
For instance; I have formula: =C2/3579 in cell E2
I want to copy the last part in that formula i.e. 3579 to some other cell.
The last part (3579) is not constant in every report. It may vary in each report thus the length may vary from 4 digits to 5 digits also.

I need to have a macro written which will allow me to extract information from any given workbook and copy them to my workbook. I'm thinking along the line of creating an input box upon opening the workbook, asking for the name of the workbook which contains the data. I would then use the data from the workbook and extract bits of information which I would copy to my current workbook.
However, I can't seem to figure out how to direct the answer of the input box to extract the information out of the target. And how would I refer to the workbook with the data in my code? I would need to refer to the data workbook as I need to extract information from it.

I have been confronted with an issue that has bugged me: Now do I extract a part of the string according to lets say "markers"?
Here is what I mean:
I use the code below to get the bottom range of my tables:

I haven't had problems because my tables were small, then I would:

blimit = Right(blimit, 3)
If the table was small there was no problem, since lets say the Activecell.Address = "$C$123", resulting in blimit = 123.
My how do I extract a part of the string, knowing I have 2 "$" ? That way I would make a version of this that always works.
I cannot use FIND or any formulas I am aware of since they all start counting from Right to Left... I thought of using Replace() to get the first "$" and change it for something else like "-" then looking for the second "$". But Replace() basically changes both signs... making my idea... well obsolete...

I have 2 sheets in a file. One is given to me from our parts department containing all parts on a given truck model. The 2nd sheet is exported as a database file from inventor and imported as an update able sheet in excel.
I am needed to compare part numbers between the 2 sheets and the qty of each. So far I have it where it matches the part numbers and turns the ones I don't have in the model red. Now I'm trying to match the part numbers and pull the qty of said part from sheet 2, the imported one, and compare it to the to the qty in the 1st. All I really need to accomplish is matching the part numbers then copying the qty from sheet 2 to sheet 1 onto a new cell of the matched part number.

I have to sort list of thousands name (3000 names) and remove duplicates. My problem is majority of the names have their title (i.e) Prof. Dr. Ir. Sir. etc typed in, so I need to copy the title in different cell and have their name only. Here's what I expect:

I recently cahve been working with a lot of webpages. Documenting the pages is quite loborious and inaccurate. I recently came across a utility that would explort all of the elements, their types etc and put it into a worksheet. For the life of me, I have not been able to find it. I was wondering if anybody knows of a utility like this, or how I could write a macro to parse this info.

I am looking for a formula that will take data from one page and graph it on another page. The data I am trying to graph is arranged like so:
A B
1 q 2009.05.01
2 w 2009.05.02
3 w 2009.05.01
4 q 2009.05.01
I am looking for something that will look at column A and if the answer is "q" and then look at column B and if the answer is "2009.05.01" Excel will take that and count it in a specific cell on another page. In the case above, I want Excel to give me the answer of "2" in a designated cell.

I have a workbook that has 9 different tabs in it. Once all the information has been completed throughout the workbook, is there a code that could transfer specific data on each page to a different colum on that same page? I need to do this for 9 pages at one time. The information is listed differently on each page. I need to transfer data from the current data column to the previous data column once the entire workbook has been filed out.

I have a dataset that is as follows:

This goes on from left to right for 45 odd columns.
I need to copy each set i.e set 1 is 123 down to 122 to say cell a25 and then copy the next set i.e. 456 to 234 below the first set.
I need to somehow write a loop code that knows where to get the 2nd, then 3rd set, etc and copy it to the bottom of the preceeding set

When I view a sheet under Page Break Preview, it shows the Page numbers in the centre of the Page. While I am aware that it would not print the page number I was wondering if there is an option to remove/hide the page numbers.

What I am trying to do is automatically move the date received and the total qty received from the Rcvg. Log sheet to the RFMs Release sheet.
The problem is:
1) I don't know what I'm doing
2) On the Rcvg. Log several part numbers that are the same with different Qtys.
3) on the Rcvg. Log the are several part numbers that are the same using different programs.
What I would like to do is combine all the same part numbers with the same program add the total Qty received and paste the date received and total Qty into the RFMs Release sheet in the proper part numbers row.
Is this possible?
Attached is a shortened copy of the spreadsheet normally there about 3000 entries.

I'm creating a worksheet that gives a list of part numbers based on the product part code. In most cases I can use the following.
=LOOKUP(O6,{0,1,2,3,4},{"NONE (M25)","SMP-55-001","SMP-55-004","SMP-55-008","SMP-55-014"})
so this gives a part number depending on what number is placed in O6. What I need to do know is look at 2 different cells and for each combination of numbers give a different part number. so if A1 is 2 and B1 is 3 give a certain result.

Is there any way to remove the first part of a string of text in a cell and save the second part?
The first part of the text string is a team code that has a variable number of numbers, capital letters and sometimes spaces. The second part of the text string is a variable number of words in a team name that all start with a capital letter and have lower case letters. Every line has a different team code and team name.
The original spreadsheet also has a column with just team code. Is there a way of using this column to "subtract" the team code from the text string to just leave the team name?

I have some code that parses an html table. I want to put in error handling in case the format of the page changes or the internet page is unavailable. I am testing without an internet connection and the run time error is not being branched off to the error handler and is fatally ending the macro. This is true also if I raise an error manually.

to extract a number from an imported cell containing text, a number and date. i need to use this number as part of a formula in another cell and the data needs to be refreshed every hour.
eg. the cell imported is "USD 30.97 (March 27, 2007)" and i need to use 30.97 in another cell.
i've tried using data - text to columns, but i realised that after splitting the cells, the 2nd and 3rd columns can't be refreshed.

I need to extract part of the data from a number of cells. I was thinking a vlookup would be the right way to go about this but i don't know how i can make it look for only part of the data in a cell.

I have data with two types of records: those with "orders" in teh comments field and those with something else in that field. I'm able to sort on comments so "orders" records appear at the bottom, and insert two blank rows, separating the two datasets. Now I have to be able to set the range of the top portion. I worked on the problem, and used some of the code in the response to my post. I need to store two cell addresses.
To determine the range, I find the first blank column, then move one cell to the left, then I need to store that column's letter. AFter I find the first row with "orders" in the comments, I need to insert two blank rows and move back up to the row above that containing data (this much I've done), then store that cell's row's address. I need to use the column and row I record as the range to select for the sort. So, I basically need to things:
1. How to store the active cell's column and row
2. How to stop recording, type in code, then resume recording.

I have a spreadsheet with 2 worksheets. On the first "active parts" I have a list of active part numbers and on the second "All Parts" I have all of the parts available.
I want to compare every part in the All Parts worksheet to see if the part number exists on the Active Parts sheet - if it's there, I would like it to return the value "Active" in column B in All Parts. I have a formula in column B in All Parts that seems to work for the first few, but as soon as it finds one that is active, the rest of the cells below all return "Active".
