Formula To Capture Values From One Sheet To Another

I have a spreadsheet that has two tabs that show different views of my report. In tab "Team View" I'd like to capture the information that is in "Cost Centre View" in the fields Nov09 to Oct10.
I want my formula in "Team View" tab to take the TOTAL "Run Rate Reduction" value in "Cost Centre View" ONLY and have the same "Initiative Type" in "Cost Centre View" that align to what is shown in "Team View" in column A (i.e. ISO).
I tried using a SUMPRODUCT but my formula didn't work.
Is there another formula that will give me this calculation?
i have a workbook with two sheets. lets just call them sheet 1 and sheet 2. on sheet 1 i have data for employees and their current wages and other info. on sheet 2 the data is for compensation scale on three separate columns.......
in order for me to automatically get the data from (sheet 2 B3) the formula for sheet 1 E1 would be: ='Sheet 1'!B3. how do i formulate the equation so that i can do ='Sheet 2'!(C1)(D1)?. in other words i want to specify the column and row from the values declared in sheet 1 column c and column d respectively.
In my sheet, i have a list of machines in cells A2 to A5 & list of Plants in cells B2 to B5 as below

What i want to capture is the last machine selected by clicking and also the value of the last plant selected by clicking I want the machine last selected (clicked) to be in captured in cell D2 & the Plant last selected (clicked) to be in captured in cell D3.
i.e if i click Machine C in column A then go the column B and click Plant 4
I would like to know how to capture a cell value at a specific date each month in a situation where this cell can change value as it is a formula. For example, the cell returns a percentage that is derived from other data that can change regularly. It may be 45% today, but a user may alter other data in the spreadsheet and it could be 67% tomorrow (or any other percentage).
I want to graph a monthly trend of how this cell value changes by capturing the cells value on the 20th day of every month, or it would also be ok to work on a periodic snapshot of every 30 days.
I have a workbook with several sheets , the 1st 31 being named Mar.01-07, Mar.02-07,etc I'd like to capture the averages(of cells with values) from cells B7:C24 of sheets Mar.01-07 thru Mar.31-07 and place the values in the sheet called "averages" with the average for B7 going to cell B7 in the "average " sheet, B8's average going to cell B8 in the "average" sheet and so on.
I wonder how to capture de event when one choose to delete a sheet. Similar to vbyes or vbno?? Now it inmediatley goes to my sheet_deactivate_event, but then I don't know if it is beiing deleted? I mean capture if you do righclick sheettab
I am useing Excel 2003 and OPC server client for excel, and i am monitoring 6 values, that are changeing each second. I was trying to make a function to collect this information, so i could form a statistic table, but unfortunally with no success.
I can watch how the values are changeing their numbers, but i cant sotre the values in the rows below. Does anyone know how can i do this
There is 2 parts to my question and I will explain them as best as i can.
1. I have a front sheet and 12 other sheets ( 1 for each month of the year) they all have the same layout. On my front sheet I want to create a button which will capture the sheet onto my front sheet for the current month, whether this means to make 12 buttons to choose which month is displayed on the front sheet or one that detects the date by system time i dont mind.
2. These 12 sheets will ideally be hidden and what I am wanting is again, on the front sheet 12 buttons for each sheet to bring up the corresponding hidden sheet so they can be viewed, and then on each of the 12 sheets another button which will hide them and return the user to the front sheet.

It works fine but I need to be able to capture future changes to the sheet as the same saved name but to add and extention like (-Rev1). Once it has been saved as -Rev1, each additional time it saves, the -Rev number would increase. I searched the forums but didn't find an exact match.
I have a moving average spreadsheet that I am having trouble with. In column F of 'Data for Pivot' Tab, I have a set of data that doesn't begin populating until 101 data points (cell C8 in 'Mov_Avg_Chart' is the input; in this cell F138 of 'Data for Pivot' tab) after data begins populating in Column E of 'Data for Pivot' Tab (in this case data begins populating in Column E in row 38).
What I would like to do is have the data in cells F38 to F137 = the value in cell F138. From there on forward (cells F138 and onwards), I would like the formula to calculate data in the same way as it is currently calculating it. That is, I would like the values in cells F38 to F137 be 0.00110 (in the current example). However, the data will be constantly changing. Thus, sometimes the data in column F will begin at a different cell than cell F138. In essence, I want the formula: when column E begins populating data but column F has not, I want those column F values to equal the value of the first populated value in column F (which is usually numerous cells below this value).
I just can't seem to get this one right after spending considerable time on it. I would appreciate any help you can give on this.
I have values in COlumn A, probably about 50K rows, The total unique values on the column A is only about 27. I need to capture all those unique values and paste them in column B. I didn't want to do "Advance filtering" since the workbook has many macros's on it that the user simply click on. Im thingking of creating a loop and compare values already pasted in Column b but then that will take too much time to complete the loop. Is there any easier or yet more efficient way to accomplish this?.
The "Jul" which stand for July, it is possible to have a formula where I can have certain text in a formula that is based on the value in B1 (In this case, B1 being JUL in bold writing.)
Like this;

I am trying find a match from multple "text" values.
The values I'm using are flight numbers from sheet "Indiv case" in column (range H2:H51). The flight number could occur multiple time in the column.
The associated flight number sheet "Code & categories" in column (range H2:H257) are associated with the last port of embarkation (range I2:I257) in "Code & categories" sheet.
I need to copy & past the name of the Last port of embarkation from sheet "Code & categories" into sheet "Indiv case" adjcent to the flight numbers in column (I2:I51).
Example: Sheet "Indiv case" from Column (H2:H51) Fligh number Data: UA863, VA4148, EK432, BA15, BA15, VA98, QF8, AC33 etc Using these value from "Indiv case" from Column (H2:H51) search and match valuse in "Code & categories" in column (range H2:H257)
If match found copy valuse from sheet "Code & categories in column (i2:I257) in to sheet "Indiv case" into column (I2:I51) Last port of embarkation".

for example we have AS1 cell in which appear first number 15, then it change to 5, then it change to 15, then it change to 11 etc. What i need is to capture and lock just the first shown number (in this ex. it has to be 15) and put it to another cell (for ex. cell AT1) Maybe there is any formula ?

I am preparing a template on the con-call done with various states. What I want to do is to capture their log in time to the call.

I want to extract just the last name from a cell that contains the full name and put just the last into a seperate cell.
WHAT I AM DOING: i copy the contents of a internal screen onto a spreadsheet that i use to check various peices of info and calculations. when i save I like to save my sheet with the last name and then acct number. The internal system screen combines the customers names into a single cell. Right now i have to type the last name into a new cell and have a simple save macro that concatenates that last name with the acct number and saves it into the appropriate folder.
The field i am pulling from is always formatted with FIRST NAME then MI (IF PROVIDED) and then LAST NAME. So when i dump the screen contents into excel A20 may be MIKE SMITH, or MIKE T SMITH. so i need something that looks backwards in the cell and stops at the first space and dumps SMITH into another cell of my choosing (B1 in this case)
I would like an input box that asks users a select a range of cells....After this certain range of cells is selected....I would than like that range to be copied to a different sheet.
I have a cell (for example, "A1") which is inserted with a WINROS formula to retrieve some data into my spreadsheet. And it is running live at all time.
Actually, I can't think of any formulas to capture the value from cell "A1" to "B1". Because I do not want the value that I captured into cell "B1" running live. I just want the value "B1" fixed after captured.

I would like a formula in cell f3 that will give the result 1 if the d1 has reached the number 45. If cell d1 has not had the number 45 appear f3 will be 0
I need to find a term "aa" and upon finding this term, the term on the right must be "bb" before we capture the number. Output will be 15 for this case.
Note that we do not know which cell "aa" will occur in, but the term "bb" will always be on the right of "aa". Can anybody help me with this? I have attached an example for your reference. Hopfully by modifying the below code, i can get the value i desired.
