I have a command button that is within a cell that when selected it insert a picture, the problem I have is when picture is in selected cell (same as command button) I can still view the command button from behind. I set the picture to “view from front” and Command button to “view from rear” but it doesn’t solve anything. I also have the command button checked to not print

What i am trying to do is make a command button appear when you hit any cell of the row its on. For example, If you were to hit any cell on rows 1 or 2 the command button will appear and when I am not on the visible property goes back to false. I have a ton of buttons on this sheet and I am trying to clean it up so buttons only appear as needed.
In one spreadsheet, I want to have a command button that will hide all rows where the date column (column A) shows a date older than one week from today. When this button is clicked again, all rows will unhide again. Preferably the Command button title would change to reflect whether it is on the hide or show cycle (for example "Click to Hide all older than one week" and then "Click to Show all events") .
i have a workbook with two sheets. i have a command button on sheet 1 that inserts another worksheet from another workbook based on a cell value in sheet 1. i would like this specific command button on sheet 1 to be hidden or disabled until a value is entered into a certain cell on sheet 1 that matches a value in a named range on sheet 2.

Basically, I want cell A1 to display the message "Macros must be enabled for this document to display properly", then have that text replaced with a picture (jpeg logo) if macros are enabled. I know I need to put the code in the Workbook_Open sub, but I keep getting the "error 1004, cannot modify visible property of picture object" when I try to tinker with "visible = true".
*EDIT* - The picture must be embedded in the spreadsheet somehow, and hidden from view when macros are disabled. (Having the picture crammed into a single cell at IV65536 is fine.)
There are two sheets to the workbook. On Sheet1 I have created a search button for the user. Also, I have entered all of the data that will be searchable (though I'm still having trouble hiding this from sight from the user). When the user clicks the button, a MsgBox appears and they can do a keyword search for all of the data. I know they could simply hit ctrl+F, but the users are not computer literate. If there is a match, within the data set, of the keyword that was entered, then the user's screen automatically takes them to Sheet2, and any matching data is filled in beginning in row 2. Row 1 has all of the appropriate titles for each column. This all works well, but there's a few things that I would like to implement.

What I would like to accomplish, as I have found it to be a problem, is only have the button search for Column A's data on Sheet1 instead of all of the columns. I tried to change things around, but couldn't quite get it. The problem is, if there is data in column A and C (part number and description of part) matching the keyword, then the same item will be duplicated on Sheet2 when it is copied over.
Secondly, and the more difficult task, for each row on Sheet1 that there is a part (let's say it's a harness or bracket), I would like to include an image of said harness or bracket for ease of the user to know what they have searched. The problem so far that I have encountered is that the image will not copy over from Sheet1 to Sheet2 when the search is conducted. Is there some way to incorporate the image into the row to allow it to be copy and pasted onto Sheet2?
Finally, and this may not be difficult either, I would like to hide all of the data that I have entered on Sheet1 from the user to keep things simple when the program is used. I tried hiding rows, but when the search is conducted with the button, it cannot see the data and says there are no keywords that match. From what I've gathered, when copy and pasted to Sheet2, the program copies exactly what is in the rows on Sheet1. Therefore, I cannot make the text white, as you will not see it on Sheet2. The only other thing I could think to do is to begin the data entry around row 100 or so, that way the user wouldn't even consider looking that far down the sheet. Is there anyway to perform this better?
I have searched this topic but I came up with nothing regarding my exact situation.
I have 5 buttons on sheet 1. I want them to all direct me to another sheet in the same workbook. However, some buttons will contain more than one sheet.
Example: Button 1 will direct me to 4 different sheets. Is this possible?
Also, When I open the workbook, I see many sheets that I am working from but I do not want them to show up when I open the workbook. The only way to see these sheets is to click on the command buttons at the top of sheet 1.
I know that this may seem a little strange to request as you can just select the row and delete it, however the sheet is designed as "idiot proof", so I would like to implement this.
Basically, I have a box which states "If you need to delete a row due to incorrect entry, please type the row number here (next cell), and click delete".
I want to know if by using VBA, you can reference the number entered in the cell, and use this to determin the row in which we are required to delete.
I have a 2 worksheets. One "Projects in Process"and the other "Project Completed". when the users fill in the information in cells A4-F4 (line 4 is the starting line and it could go down as far as line 23 or a23 - f23) In Projects in Process they press a "completed Project" command button and the data in a4-f4 copies over to worksheet "Projects completed". In the next available row (starting at row 4).
I am running Excel 2003 and in my workbook I created a macro and assigned it to a toolbar comman button, "Copy Filtered Data". This macro copies the visible data into a new workbook.
This works well but others in my company will also be accessing this workbook from a sharepoint and I discovered that when they open it this command button is not on their toolbar.
Would anyone know what I need to do to have this button load on the toolbar when the workbook opens?
Also, I would like this button to either unload or greyout when the workbook that this button is intended for is closed.
I want to create a command button that will clear whatever is written in a text box. I guess for this to work it needs to select all, then clear. The command button and the text box have been created using the control toolbox.
