Range from AK1:AK8 to AT1:AT8. These are eight rows, total eighty entries. Can a formula or conditional formitting determine if there are duplicates values in eighty entries . The need is not column-based rather row based.

I want only the minimum score to be highlighted but if there is another duplicate minimum score I don't want it to highlight anything. I also need to find a way to count the skins won by each player and have it off to the side.
For those not familiar with golf a Skin is a game where you try to get the lowest amount of strokes on a specific hole. Ex- 4 people play the hole one. P1 scores 4, P2 gets a 3, P3 and P4 get 6. The skin would go to P2 who has the lowest score on that hole.
Highlight lowest number in each column not highlighting if there are duplicates starting at L6 down to L11 and for each column till AC. And the same for the group just to the right on attached file.
On row 13 and 14 it tells me who won a skin. I want to tally up the total skins won by each player. so if Joe's names shows up twice on R14 I want it to tell me somewhere in the sheet Joe = 2

I am trying to set up a workbook for work that will highlight duplicates. I know how to use conditional formatting to do this, however, I would like each duplicate "set" to be a different color in order to better identify. The area that I need to search for duplicates is E3:E27. How can this be accomplished?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 13 sheets of data in my open workbook. Column D, which includes blank cells at times, across each of these sheets maps the same info. of orders. However, I know there are several duplicates, and I want to clean them out. I am trying to figure out a way to highlight all the duplicates that appear only in column D beginning with sheet 4 and ending with sheet 13. I will leave the duplicates that appear on Sheets 5-13 alone, but I want to have them highlighted, so I can review the ones that appear on sheet 4 first, and then delete them.

I have a program that compiles a whole bunch of annual data.
The data is in columns A:J
I would like to have a program that loops through column A's entries and if the entries are odd then have the cells in Columns A through J of that row be highlighted with colour index RGB (193, 205, 205).

I have created a spreadsheet to find cyclical patterns and my next task was to sort these patterns from highest value to lowest.
Next I need to start from the first row of the sorted spreadsheet and find the first row working down that repeats. Once I find his row I have to stop the search and highlight both the original and repeated rows. If the first row has no repeat it has to move to the second row and do the same operation until it finds a row that does repeat and so on.
I have two sheets
1. On one I have sheet named leave with five columns
2. Second sheet has calender

I am trying to write a macro in VBA excel 2010 that compares 2 sheets.
The macro should be something along the lines of if column 7 on sheet 1 = column 1 on sheet 2
AND
on that same row if column 6 on sheet 1 = column 3 on sheet 2

I have a list of 18k rows, and about 7.5k are known duplicates. The delete duplicates button will not delete the duplicates (except it keeps returning 41 duplicates for an unknown reason, but there definitely thousands more it is missing). I tried the remove duplicates button, advance sort, coloring cells, and some macros. The list is the combination of two lists, one older one just compiled, I was able to seamlessly delete dups in another list.
Just wondering if anyone has a macro, or formula that would allow me to find out (and possibly highlight), when any value in column A is equal to any value in column B. Im dealing with about 2000 rows so its almost impossible to complete manually.

I have highlighted in yellow some rows that have duplicate values in row C and E.
So in this case rows 14 and 19 will be hidden but rows 13 and 17 will still be visible.
Note that this must work properly reguardless of how the data is sorted.
In other words, there can never be more than one row that has the exact same value for both column C and E.
I have the following problem within Excel. I have a dataset which contains duplicate values within a column(lets say A). I have a spreadsheet with 20+ columns. Each column contains a list of invoice numbers, eg, 1234. The lists are all of different lengths (see below). I want to find a way to find/highlight/identify those invoice numbers that appear more than once in the entire sheet (eg if invoice 1234 is listed in column B, and also in column H, and/or if invoice 5678 is listed in column A, and also in column J, and also perhaps in column D, etc.)
I've searched this forum but haven't found anything about searching for multiple duplicates in multiple columns. Ideally the matches would be highlighted in different colours, (eg all cells that contain 1234 would be red, those that contain 5678 would be blue, etc., for ease of identification) but I'm not sure if that's possible. I've attached an example that I've shaded myself to show what I mean. I've tried the MODE function but that only tells me which invoice number occurs the most.
I need excel to delete entire rows if there are duplicates in two columns combined.

I want excel to delete only row 9, not 11, 13 or 14.
So far, if I look for duplicates in both columns it marks duplicates in either one. Also if I delete the duplicates, it deletes them only in those two columns, leaving me with distorted data (in this example, row 14 would have no last or first name, but only the values "RBM_C" in column B and "F" in column E.
I can't figure out a solution.
4 columns, thousands of rows.
Column A has alphanumeric data that can appear, once, twice, 3 times or 4, but never more than 4.
I want to see this spreadsheet so that each piece of data in column A is presented only once.
The information in the other 3 columns isn't important for what I want to do, so I need to reduce 20000 + rows, which includes many duplicates in Column A to about 5-60000, but need help figuring the correct formula/macro ....
