Hyperlink To Static URL And Then Include Cell Reference

I need to create a Hyperlink to a static URL but then add a cell reference
The static url is known - [URL]
A column in my spreadsheet contains the data needed to add to the end of the static URL - so it would look like [URL]
I tried this
=HPYERLINK("www.helloworld.com)+B2,Link - but it is not working :-(

I have a worksheet where everything in column A links to a different workbook. Does anyone know if there is a formula that can then look at the cell reference in column A and take the value from a set row in that same column? For example:
The cell in column A2 is set to cell Q1 in a different workbook. I need a formula in cell C2 that will then bring in the value of cell Q64 in that same workbook. Therefore always bringing in the value of row 64 for whichever column the cell in column A is et to.

I have a small issue with hyperlink :
https://.../Search/QuickLink.aspx?n=A123-BCD-E-FGH-I456_JK789_0-12345&t=3&d=Main%5ceBProd&sc=Global&r=A12&cno=E_SOURCE&m=l
A123-BCD-E-FGH-I456_JK789_0-12345 - needs to be B2 cell value
A12 - needs to be C2 cell value
when I drag the function down, it has to pick B and C valued according to row. I am missing a mistake somewhere.
I last tried this function and it didn't work.

I want to be able to create a hyperlink in a cell that is the result of a simple reference formula. i.e. if cell A1 on worksheet A is a formula "='SheetB"!A1", can I create a hyperlink automatically from SheetA Cell A1 to 'SheetB'!A1?
I would like for the hyperlink to be is cell A1, so I beleive that would be a macro / VBA solution.
Also, is there a formula solution that could go in B1 "=hyperlink(A1)", where the formula will then recognize the referenced cell (rather that the formula result) and hyperlink to SheetB:A1?

I have a workbook with many tabs and within those tabs there are many hyperlinks to other areas within the same workbook. When I add or delete lines or rows, the corresponding hyperlinks do not stay with the changed cell. Is there any way to make the cell reference in a hyperlink an absolute similar to how you do with a formula?

I have a list of University courses listed in Sheet1. Column A contains a unique course code. If there is a problem with a course, a second worksheet (called Anomalies) contains the same unique course code with description of the problem(s).
What I'm trying to do is: in Sheet 1, create a hyperlink to the relative cell in Sheet 2 that shows the course code and description. I've gotten close, but am not sure how I can do this without having to update two formulas. In short, I can't find a way to combine the two formulas.
What I've done is the following: in Sheet 1, column B, created a HYPERLINK formula, thus: =HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",INDIRECT(C54)),A54)
Column C contains a formula to lookup the relative position in the Anomalies worksheet, which can be referenced back to the HYPERLINK formula, thus:
=("Anomalies!A"&MATCH(A54,Anomalies!A:A,0))
Sheet1 is fairly static, but Sheet2 (Anomalies) is being updated all the time. I could just hide column C and then column B will update based on that, but I'd prefer a cleaner solution.
I've tried joining the two formulas, by replacing the INDIRECT part with the second formula, as per the following: HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address","Anomalies!A"&MATCH(A54,Anomalies!A:A,0)),A54)
but I get an error.

Is it possible to change hyperlink as per the cell reference changed in a cell. for example :- in cell D2 the apply a match formula to find out a cell reference (eg "A"& Match function based on info type on cell A1) Now I want to create hyperlink as per the cell reference mentioned in cell D2. suppose I type Red in A1 and D2 give me the cell reference A51 than automatically Hyperlink create for A51. and it continiously changed whatever i type in A1 and what cell reference is showing in D2.

I have a problem using indirect in a counta function. Basically, I want to count the number of used cells in a range. However, there would be insertions to the rows (using the insert row) on top of the range.
my function is now =counta(indirect(" events database"!"A"&M22&":A"&M500)
However, this formula returns an error. What have I typed wrongly?

I making a template for multiple users to import data into for analysis. I want them to be able to delete and drag-and-drop data to get rid of any bogus values. However i need forumlas that reference those to NOT follow the values as there as moved. As a simple example say you have two columns, column A is a set of random numbers, column B is the number from coumn A times 2. If take the bottom half of column A and drag it up one cell, overwriting a cell, now the cell in column B next to the overwritten cell has a #REF err and ever cell below that now references a Cell in column A from the previous row. I want a formula that references a static address and will not follow the cell if it is moved.
If I use named ranges rather than specific cells references it works for the above example, however for my actual form it does not. Even though the ranges and formulas stay the same I start getting incorrect values. If there is no other way to this I will try to figure why the named ranges do not work.

I need the values that are copied from the template to copy over in text form from the "Data" Tab. Secondly, the master sheet has multiple lines for each vendor. For the area highlighted in red I'd like for it to copy all cells in column C for the vendor and search the vendor by name. Then, move to the next sheet.

I'm working on a formula to get the the path of a picture on a different sheet in a workbook. I am trying to get use the hyperlink function to reference that cell on the the other sheet. It looks right but I get an error saying that it cannot open the specified file.
This is what my formula looks like:
=HYPERLINK(ADDRESS(4,12,2,,"Sheet 1"),2)
I need it to actually get the actual text value of the cell I am trying to reference. How would I do that?

Is there a way to generically reference a directory when creating a hyperlink? By this I mean, I have an XLS that documents the flow of a process. As an outcome of this process, text files are generated.
This process may be run multiple times. I would like to be able to create multiple directories: Run1, Run2, Run3, ...
I would like to put a copy of the XLS in each directory. I would like to put the output files from each run into their respective directory.
I would like to put hyperlinks in the XLS that point to the flat files. However, when I add a hyperlink it contains the full directory path. Something like C:MyDocumentsRun1output1.txt.
So, if I copy the XLS into directory Run2, the hyperlink is still going to point to a data file in directory Run1.
How can I generically default to look in the 'current' directory for a file? Or is there a different/better way around this? ............

I have this code that looks through my worksheet once the conditions are met it will email, and in column "M" I put a hyperlink to where the document is stored. All works as far as the email format, even grabs the hyperlink but it’s not clickable in the email.

but when the excel file is closed and opened the date changes to now or today. How can I make the date stay and not change?

I have developed an excel template that is used at our fire department for dispatching purposes. The template is loaded and then info is placed into the template. It is a read only file so I am looking to have it save the file name as "Incident Report ()" replacing the bracket will be the value of cell C1. Example would be "Incident Report 234". I would also like it to save in the same file location every time.

I am not sure whether this can happen, I want to capture time taken for different activities, without manually entering the details.I tried the formula "=Now()", but what happens is that at the end of the day the times are all the same because the live time is changing. Is there a way where the live time is captured and freezed, so that at the end of the day i have a time log sheet.

Let's say I have a value in B2, and a formula in C2. If I drag the formula from C2 all the way down to C20 (spreading it 18 times), the formula wants the value in B2, B3, B4, etc.. down to B20. How do I drag a formula, but have it always reference B2?

What I need is lets say I have 3 columns Name, Date & Time
Name field has a drop down menu having a list of names
Now what I need is - lets say from the dropdown menu someone selects a name - THEN at the same instance the Time & Date fields gets populated with the Date & Time of that update.
and that Date & Time shouldn’t change if someone selects the same or different name in the row below

I belive i have a simple date stamp problem, but i do not know the correct VBA to edit the code posted below. I would like to have a datestamp placed in an adjacent cell based upon a particular value. For instance, If Cancel is entered into cell a2, then b2 would gave the date stamp. or if Started was entered into a2, then c2 would have the date stamp.

I have a filtered row that calculates values based on user input. I would like to take the calculated value of a cell in that row and place it as a static value in a different cell.
For example, the filtered row is row 85. The user inputs 5.5%. Cell AK85 calculates the value to be $100,000. Cell AK3 references the original row, which is 3. I would like to take the $100,000 value and place it in cell AK3 but as a static value and not based on a formula.

I have the below macro designed to display a message box if a cell in the range specified is greater than the value in the designated cell (BF7). In the message, I'd like to include the value for the cell in another column, from the same row as the cell that met the condition.
For example:
Cell E11.........Cell BF11........Cell BF7
Mark....................1.......................0
What I want the message box to say: Mark worked too many days.

Any way where is a list of cells (b3:b113) has text entered, or specific text entered, it will enter a static cell in the corresponding "d" column.
I know of CTRL + ; but i don't really know how to get it to work as a macro, can't find a forumla that enters the static date, and i don't want to make a macro to copy + paste special the date when it happens.
So all i should have to do is entered text in column b, then it will add a time stamp, when that text was entered, it doesn't have to update.
Like all i need is this, but instead of the "now()" function, it will have another function that doesn't automatically update?

I have several macros/VBS scripts that copy and paste from one workbook to another, how do I create a macro that says whatever row "PM" is in copy range F:BC on that row

I am trying to send my field reps a spreadsheet that will allow them to pick the proper location for each building. The problem I am having is that there are ~45,000 buildings, each with anywhere from 1 - 92 locations. Here is how my spreadsheet is set up.
Sheet 1
Column A has the Buildings THIS IS NOT A DROP DOWN. THIS IS A STATIC CELL PRE FILLED OUT
Column B is where I want the drop down to be available for the rep to pick the location
Sheet 2
Column A has a list of the buildings
Column B has a list of the locations
I understand that normally I would need to create a named range for each building and its locations. However, there are more Buildings than columns in Excel. Is there a way I can do this using Index/Match, or Offset, or Indirect? I have a sample spreadsheet that can be found in my dropbox account using this link [URL]

I want to dis-include the CC="06" in the summation. I tried using:
=SUMPRODUCT(--(GLCodes=$B7),(cc="06"),MasterNetAmt_01)
But it gives a wrong calculation
