IF,AND Or OR: Don't Return A Value As One Of The Cells Has A Zero In It

I'm trying to work out a formula which I think needs an IF added to it to make it work? Currently it doesn't return a value as one of the cells has a zero in it and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong as if I add an IF in then I can only get it to work if the first cell has a zero in it, but if the second does as well then it simply returns a null value!

Hi, I desperately need help with a pivot-table and can't find anyone else who's ever had this problem...I have a very large healthcare data table which for simplicity I will describe as follows. In essence the first two columns respectively are (A) location and (B) month. I have a column of data (column A) with cells that have IDs (alpha-numeric) that contain anywhere between 0 to 5 dashes. Since this column will change weekly, I want to dynamically pull only those cells that contain 3 dashes.

Example:
10648145-3026718-t526363536m
09wcg7-s1s89-wtpxm33-uu6jj0-9y8mv-v1
10658575-2349769-

I would only want to have returned 10648145-3026718-t526363536m since it contains 3 dashes. Do you know of a nifty formula for doing this? I think an array would get me the dynamic piece (so they are not spaced out).

The data attached shows the length of individual fixations (A4:A8) and whether the fixation was ON (=1) or OFF (=0) a specific target (C4:C8). I want to know how much time was spent ON target for each 250ms time bin (i.e. between 0-250ms, then 250-500ms etc).

My problem is that each fixation is a different length and may cross over the time bin boundaries. IF(AND(THEN ) works for the first few time bins but I get stuck once the first fixation is accounted for. I have filled the rest in manually so you can get an idea of what I want it to do.

Comparing Cells And Return Number?

Thing is, I have an excel sheet for a private competition in sports games. How can I do a function, that automatically calcutes points for every "bet" against the game result?

For example:

If game finishes 4-3 I'd like to compare it for every players guessed score and give points according to this:

1. If the bet is completely correct (4-3) -> Return 10 (points). In case of tie (like 3-3, -> Return 20 (points)
2. If the bet has a correct winner, with correct goals for eather team (4-x / x-3) -> Return 4 (points)
3. If the bet has a correct winner (home/visitor) -> Return 3 (points)
4. If the bet has incorrect winner but amount of goals for eather team correct -> Return 1 (point)
5. If the bet is completely wrong -> Return 0 (points)

At least for me, this sounds more like rocket science but just wanted to check if this is anyway doable.

I am trying to get Excel to search A1 and B1 for specific information and return a result in C1.

E.g. If A1 contains the text "Jumping Castle"
and
If B1 contains the text "4"
Then

But the formula must also detect and return a different amount if the information in B1 changes.

So I've been trying to set up a table.

The table is made of 4 columns, with several times the same values. Each column has a specific range of value. No possible combination can exist twice. Meaning I won't have two rows that are identical. It looks like :

I have a spreadsheet where cells L4 W4 have headers (no spaces in this range), e.g. Cust1, Cust2, Cust3 etc... etc...
Column C contains product names ....

Each product will have a value under each heading (but not all), e.g. Product A = Cust1:10 Cust2(blank) Cust3:4 Cust4(blank) etc... etc...

What I need is a formula that looks along the row for each product and returns the header name if there is a value. Therefore, in the example above the formula result would be Cust1Cust3 ....

I need help on using the If function. Basically I am trying to calculate the cost of shipments. For example, cost of sending 1 box is 150 (eg cell A3), 2 boxes is 280 (cell A4), 3 boxes is 400 (A5), 4 boxes is 500, etc upto to 10 boxes (cell A12).

What I am looking for is cell A1 to provide me the cost based on the manually entered value of cell A2, i.e. if I enter a number between 1 to 10 in cell A2, then A1 should return a number from A3 to A12, e.g. enter 3 in A2 then A1 should return 400.

Is there such a formula or do I have to enter manually the amounts into an If function?

I have a condundrum that having trouble solving hoping someone may be able to help...

I am trying to return the contents of all cells that match a value based on another cell.. I have managed to achieve with the forumla below but it only returns the first value matched.

what I wish to do is return all values in ROW E where the value in ROW B equals Deliver and combine into one cell [F1].

ie.

DELIVER VALUEW VALUEW VALUEY
COLLECT VALUEX
DELIVER VALUEY

The formula I have currently uses index but only returns the first value found. I need to find all values and place in one cell. C5 holds value 'deliver'

There is no fixed pattern for the values, but they are separated by commas only. All i need is to compare col A and col B and return me the value in Col C like this,

Return Non-blank Cells From Different Sheet

I'm working with an excel worksheet that uses a TFS plug-in to retrieve tree-structured data from a TFS database. Each item has a "Title" depending on it's position in the tree, in some cell between "Title 1" and "Title 9" inclusive.

Currently I display the title in a new column on the same sheet as the TFS data using the formla below. Since custom columns do not automatically get applied to new items in the TFS list after refreshing, I have to click in a cell and apply to all rows everytime I refresh.

On a different sheet I have a pivot table which contains the work item "ID". What I'd like to do is just be able to retrieve the title for each work item in a column on the sheet with the pivot table, using index/match to find the row, and then return the title from the first non-blank title cell.

Current formula on the TFS sheet (note that '@' indicates "this row", and I've replaced the long table name with "TFSData")

The formula is on Sheet 3 as follows:

I'll be collecting registrations on an Excel worksheet at a company event. Users will fill out a registration form, click a button, and the information is moved to a hidden sheet. That part works perfectly.

Periodically during the day, we'll give out door prizes, selecting winners from the list of registrants.

I need a macro that will look at the entries in column A in my hidden sheet and return one of them randomly.

I know there are random number generators, and I could make one of those work, but if I could just have it make a random selection from the populated cells in Col A, that would be slicker.

I have 5 options that I am designating as "Allocation Methods" for a number of line items. They are numbered 1-5, but i have custom formatted them so that they have text in the formatting. They are as follows;

Allocation Method
1 - Allocation per Hard Cost
2 - Allocation PSF of Proj. or Hotel
3 - Allocation per Loan
4 - Allocation per Parking Spaces
5 - Allocation for Park

I will allocate one of the above allocation methods to every line item in an allocation column by hardcoding 1 - 5 in a cell for each line item. What i cannot figure out (or figure out if it is even possible) is how, for instance, can I type in a 1 and it have it automatically formatted per number 1 above & then if I change my mind to method 2 and type 2 it will automatically format per number 2 above. I know I can do this by creating a reference column right beside by allocation column, but I would prefer not to use that method.
