Macro To Detect And Delete Multiple / Duplicate Entries?

I need a Macro to do the following:
In column A I have a list of Acronyms from A2:A90000 and more
In column B I have the corresponding acronyms spelt out from B2:B90000 and more
When I run the macro, it shoud detect the multiple/duplicate Acronyms and it's corresponding descriptions, DELETE the multiples/duplicates and move the cells up.

I have 2 columns of data, apprx. ~25,000 rows.
Col 1 is user IDs and Col 2 is there status (pending, conditional, approved, rejected)
Col1 IDs are not unique because they can have multiple statuses associated with them in Col2. An ID can go from pending to conditional to either approved/rejected and all these are included in the raw data file. I want to remove all duplicate ID rows and keep the ID row with the last known status.

I have one sheet that have +/-5000 data in 4 table ... all table is fill with just only 2 column, first column is Code Number and second column is Quantity.
There are many duplicates of different entries in Column 1st in all table range and I need to add up their quantities to new table in new sheet...
This is for example:

I found this sample code that works from top to bottom of a spreadsheet. But I need something that will delete the first entry and keep the last entry. My data is sent from one spreadsheet to a Master and sometimes the details can be sent twice, if the responsible person forgets to enter one line of production. The criteria should be the first 5 Columns of the sheet.

I have a UserForm which writes data to rows in a master spreadsheet. I'm attempting to write some vba code for a CommandButton in the master spreadsheet which can identify and delete duplicate entries based on "user ID", "Date", and "Time". I would like the CommandButton to retain the most recent entry from a user and delete all previous entries.
My master sheet is set out as such...
A, B, C, D,
UserID, Date, Time, Response
The users could potentially submit multiple entries on the same day. Ideally I would like to be able to click a CommandButton and delete each user's submission but retain their most recent one (based on "UserID", then "Date", then "Time").
I've searched all day for a solution and I've come close but I can not figure out a code that accounts for my three variables ("UserID", then "Date", then "Time").

how i can set 'Data Validation' to stop me from entering duplicate values across multiple columns, i can set it for a single column i.e. A1 to A100 but i am after this but for something like A1 to H100.....?
I am currently using this formula in Data Validation:
=COUNTIF($A$1:$A$100,A1)=1
I need something to do this but for multiple columns.

My data set has a number of duplicate entries. But I would like to sort them out based on some conditions. Say for example my C2 code appears three time in the dataset. I would like to sort this multiple code using the time and i column.
Say for example, 871514 code appears three times in this dataset, and if this code appear within three years - time with a different (i column text e.g. public and private), I would like to exclude these three duplicate entries from my dataset. If this code appears within next three years from the date, but have same I column text (e.g.public versus public), I will keep them.
So each code will be considered based on three years of time and type of text in I column. If the code appears again later after three years, I will keep them.
So the codes need to be checked within three years time with i column text.
My dataset identifies the difference of dates between last entry and next entry.

I'm trying to get data totals for multiple entries and haven't been able to figure out how to do this using a pivot table.
For example:
A B
Ben 2
Bill 1
Jane 3
Bill 4
Dave 7
Jane 4
Would make it
Ben 2
Bill 5
Jane 7
etc.
this list is 3700 cells long.

Can I use a macro in workbook (test 1) to look at a differant work book (Test 2) and look at a range of A2:A20 and look for a duplicate date? If it sees a duplicate date I get a message (Date Taken) I would need to compare about 4 or 5 columns to each other, column A to column A, column B to column B etc. Will this work if the other workbook is not open?

How do i delete duplicate row?
This is a sample of how my spreadsheet looks like. i want to check for duplicates under cell B:F. delete if duplicate. to like this: ( i know that in the second 4007 repair, there are some data similar to the first 4007 repair. but lets assume the data is different. Cause i cant change it now.)
cell A consist of my header and should not be shifted. i do not want a result like this,
The data should look like the original except the duplicates are deleted.
The macro should check until the row Period_name. that is anything after period name should not be deleted. Also i want Period_name row to be position under the leftover data. like this:

Here is the problem: i have two conditions to satisfy first is data from column A and second is data from column C, what i wanted to do is if both data from column A and B has the same other data in column A and C then sum the total in column D, F, I retain data for column B, E, G and H. Then delete the duplicate rows. By the way we also need to replace the remove the text (W1,W2,W3,W4 and W5) in column C.

I am looking for some VBA code that will look through a column and delete all but the last duplicate value. The rows are not to be deleted. The duplicate also may not be consecutive (i.e they may appear in rows 2, 3 and 72 - the one in 72 would need keeping).
I did find the following macro which seemed to do the job until I realised it wasn't working if the values weren't consecutive.

I have an Excel Workbook with a Paid sheet and an Outstanding sheet both sheets have a File Number column.
I would like to create a macro that looks through the Outstanding sheet and if the File Number from the Outstanding sheet is also in the Paid sheet can the entire row be deleted from the Outstanding sheet.

I use the following macro to delete the columns with duplicate dates in it. It works ok but when a date is duplicate more than once – say 4 time – it only delete 2 of the 4. I want it to delete all duplicates (entire column) and only leaf the last one to the right.

I need to detect blank rows and then delete them but for the formula not be be affected
In the example attached there are 4 components but i may only need to use 3 so row 4 would be blank
i need to find the blank rows and delete them and for the formula in cells G12:H14 to be update as necessary
at the moment if i delete the rows i get a REF# in place of the cell which has been deleted

See attached doc "Find and Delete.xlsx". Inside, the value in F12 is a very important cell. Using the text value from F12, I first want to use visual basic code to find the range in column B because it will vary. This means the 'text words' column might have 50 words or it might have 2000. I have racked my brain trying to find a universal way to find a variable range.
Then I would like to search for the exact text value within this range in column
B. For example, in F12 is the text word 'windows xp registry cleaner' and you can see that this value is in B9. There will only be one exact match in column B.
I then would like the vb script to delete and remove this found value, then move left one space in column A to also delete the ID number associated with the text word. Then shift both rows up to fill the empty gap. I have tried numerous different codes but to be honest, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I've tinkered with find and replace, vlookup, match, find, search, and many more.

I have a VBA Macro that loops through about 100,000 rows in an Excel file and removes rows that have a duplicate cell value. The macro takes about an hour and a half to run. Are there any ways to make the Macro run faster? Any ways in general to make VBA macros run faster?

My Excel program (Excel 2010) currently has several columns and each column looks for and pulls data from a specific file on my computer. Then I need to delete any duplicate data entries, count the number of unique entries and track the changes through a chart. I have everything done except I cannot figure out (or find on the internet) a way to search in multiple columns (more than 2) and delete just the duplicate cells. I want to delete the cells in a way where there is one left. For example if the code 12gf is duplicated three time, I want to be left with one 12gf (it doesnt matter what column the original one is left in). Additionally, column length changes and they are not sorted. I have attempted to attach an image of an example file below.

Is there a macro to delete an entire row if a duplicate entry appears only in a certain column.
1. Look for the column header with the name "File Number"
2. Anytime the same number under the "File Number" column appears more than once in that column, keep the row that contains first occurrence of that number buy delete the entire row anytime that number is repeated in another row in that same column.
This is regardless of what is contained in the other columns. For example..let's say these cells contained this data...
B1 - UTE00225
B2 - UTE00546
B3 - UTE65513
B4 - UTE00225
B5 - UTE00225
In this case, I would want to keep rows 1, 2, and 3. But, I would want to delete rows 4 & 5 because the number "UTE00225" has already appeared first in B1. I'm using Excel 2003.

The code I currently have allows me to search for one text entry in the column and then copy and paste all those entries into the next worksheet. There are 5 different text entries I'd like it to look for but can't figure out how to do it. I have a work around by using wildcards, but then I have to write another macro to delete out the ones I don't want.
Where is says "DNA - weapons", I'd also like it to allow for "DNA - paternity" and a couple other options.

I have been trying a number of different functions!
I have the following countif function that is searching a worksheet (Cases Closed) for the name John in Column O and excluding Solutions in column x. The problem I have is there are duplicates cases in Column C that are being counted two and three times.
Is there anyway to have the following function exclude duplicates records in Column C? Just count unique records in Column C?

I have some code but I still need to do a considerable amount of tweaking to it. Currently my code is only deleting the duplicate values in Col A. I am having difficulty summing the values in Col D as well as deleting the entire row.

Basically I've made this up myself because what ill be working with has 100s if not 1000s of rows with many different product numbers that's quantities are different. What I've been able to do up to now is sort the spreadsheet by the product number so all the same rows are next to each other. My problem is however I need a speedy way of making these duplicate rows become one but add the total quantity basically everything in the left screenshot into the one on the right. What I've tried up to now is sorting them so there together and manually adding them up and putting them into one of the rows quantity, then delete the rest. takes to long. Another was to make a row underneath the rows I need into one but that takes more time than manually adding and deleting the rest.

I am trying to find a macro that will clear duplicate entries in a column of data, and then move to the next column and repeat the process until it gets to a blank column.
There are blank cells between entries in a column. I need to keep the data unsorted as the cells are linked to others in the row, therefore I dont want to delete the cells, just clear the contents.
