Months Formula - Remaining In Quarters

In Column A, I have the dates listed as such. Common point is that, they are all 1st day of the month.
In Column B, I have Quarters as such.... (Please see below)
Can I put a formula together, to round up how many months left in that particular quarter ? example

My list has dates. I am using this formula to determine the quarter for the date: ="Q"&INT((MONTH(S2)/4)+1).
As well I am using a formula to determine the month for the date: =E2-DAY(E2)+1.
In my book I have some sheets showing totals by month, in other I total up by quarter. I am experiencing a variance between the quarterly total by months and the quarterly total by quarter.
So I thought I'd try this formula to reconcile the two--but no success: =SUMPRODUCT((System=$B5)*(Created>=Lists!M$2)*(Created

I believe there is a way to summarize monthly data with the month in rows and the heading across columns. The goal is to have a formula summarize the data with Q1 through Q4 in rows and headings across columns and vice versa. Sample data attached.

I have a table which contains Day, Projects, Proj Completed and % completed. I would need to get the target % starting thu so that I can end the week completing 90% of all my projects. Fri - Sun would show the same targets as Thu. Once Fri comes, i just need to update Thu with the actual projects I completed and Fri - Sun will show me my new target % to achieve 90%. Just in case hitting 100% will not achieve the 90%, it will just show 100% for the remaining days.

I am trying to figure out a formula to calculate remaining useful life. I have the following information:
In Service Date (Cell W2)
Estimated Life (Cell X2)
Aquired Value (Cell Z2)
Is there a formula that will just calculate how much life is left based on the information i have?

A1, B1, C1 and D4 are cell in Excel worksheet and values are 2, 4 and 6 in A1, b1 and c1 respectively.
A1 B1 C1 D4
2 4 6 C1-Formula is: =sum(A1+B1)
Now I have to write formula for D4-cell:
i.e. =sum(C1/Total days remaining of the month)
Suppose Today is April 01, 2009, C1/should be devided by 30,
Tomorrow will be April 02, 2009, C1/should be devided by 29.

I need a macro to find the last cell in the column, then copy the formula to the next blank cell. Then, it goes back to the last cell (above) and paste's values. Then, go to the next column and repeat the process. I can do this but have to call each cell separatly...however, I would like to do it in a loop to simplify things. It would be great to even be able to just set the start and ending columns. Here is my current code:

It does not go to the next column, instead it stays in the same column and repeats the process.

Pivot Table where I am comparing prices with previous quarters using the % Difference from and using Quarter/previous as the base.
The function works fine but I can't get any values on Q1 to compare with Q4 of the previous years. All Q1 for every years show no % difference.

I have a list of Dates (01-OCT-2011, 03-Dec-2011, 12-Jan-12, 10-FEB-2012, 03-APR-2012, etc). I would like to figure a formula that would see the the date and return the QUARTER. For example:
IF dates are between 01-OCT-2011 thru 31-DEC-2012 THEN return QTR1, IF dates are between 01-JAN-2012 thru 31-MAR-2012 THEN return QTR2, IF dates are between 01-APR-2012 thru 30-JUN-2012 then return QTR3, etc
I'm really just now sure how to do the "betweens".

I need a formula that can automatically populate yearly quarters in separate columns based on a number of years. So if I put in 5 years - excel would populate 20 columns with Quarter 1 - Quarter 2 and so on. If I then change it to 3 years it would only populate 12 columns.

how to calculate the time between two dates in years and quarters (represented in .25 increments). I would round down on the .25 increments (3 months) if not fully surpassed.

I have the formula where i can change a date to its equivalent in terms of quarters system with a date:
=CHOOSE(MATCH(MONTH(A2),{1,4,7,10}),"Winter","Spring","Summer","Fall")&YEAR(A2)
This is a school year configuration.
ex.
A2 = 10/1/2005: with the formula up there it turns into Fall 2005
i want to be able to add any number of years and the formula will still come up with the quarters system
also i would like A2 to be stationary and create a list of quarters for each year i add on
ex.
A2= 10/1/2005 B2=Fall 2005
B3=Winter 2006
B3=Spring 2006
B5=Summer 2006
B6=Fall 2006
etc.
If this is all possible lastly I would like to negate summer quarters

I have a date column (Column E: Date Entered) on my spreadsheet that I need to set conditional formatting on. There are two conditions:
1) 18 months from the date in the cell needs to be highlighted yellow
2) 24 months from the date in the cell needs to be highlighted red

Here is my formula:

Cell E5 contains a place for you to put in the number of years you want
I want to modify this formula so that it calculates months instead of years, but still be based of a 365 day calendar year.

I have a excel file which deals with accounting systems. It has the Loan date in Cell B6 and Number of dues in cell B7. I need the column from B11 : B34 to be filled with due dates for every month. Suppose if the loan date is 12/05/2013 and number of dues is 10 then in B11 I should get 12/06/2013 , B12 it should be 12/07/2013 and B13 should be 12/08/2013 and so on based on the number of dues.

It's a formula I'm looking for. The best way to describe it is an example.
I have some numerical data on a sheet from cells A2 to A80. This data represents the amount of days each person has spent on holiday. The data will be shown on a graph, but instead of the graph having "1", "2", "3", "4", along the bottom, I'd like it to have "1 week", "2 weeks", "3 weeks", "1 months", "2 months", "3 months".
I -suspect- the formula will involve the " countif" function (or an equivalent) (eg. if the number is less than or equal to 7, add 1 to the "1 week" box, etc.)

I'm having an issue converting months into weeks. My example is I have people who must provide leaving notice (could be months or weeks). For instance column B details months, and column C details weeks. I'd like to convert months (column B) into weeks in column D, but am not sure of the components of such a formula so I won't list or guess as I'm just not sure.

One cool feature of 2010 is ability to (right click on dates) and Group them into Quarters.
How to change the Quarters to be in line with e.g. Financial Year, as opposed to fiscal years? i.e. have a start date of say June?

See attached. (I added in some arrows for the first month so it is easier to follow the logic)
I am working with monthly revenues. Revenues are earned in a specific month but only a % is received in that month and over the next 4 months. I need a formula that will spread these revenues earned in 1 month over the next 4 months.
Currently, I have a complex Index/Match formula which works until September. September, October, November, and December do not work correctly because once the months roll over from month 12 (December) back down to month 1 (January), my formula cannot recognize the range.
Essentially, I need the formula to return the correct amount that is being paid, even across different years.
I don't know if my formula can be modified or a new formula would be more efficient.

Inmates can apply for pre-release when they have half their minimum sentence served. For example 2 years 6 months. They would have to serve 1 year 3 months.
I use this formula
=DATE(YEAR(A1)-A5,MONTH(A1)-B5,DAY(A1)-B6)
Where A1 is half the years, B5 is half the months, and B6 is half the days. The problem is when an inmate is sentenced to a minimum of 3 years and 3 months. The latter formula will not calculate 1.5 years or 1.5 months. It rounds up. What I would like to do is covert the 1.5 years to months and the 1.5 months to days.
