Pasting Equal To Cells So That They Repeat Correctly?

What I'm trying to do is have a row one sheet of a workbook equal a column in another sheet. So ideally it would look like:
Sheet1!A1=Sheet2!A1
Sheet1!B1=Sheet2!A2
Sheet1!C1=Sheet2!A3
But what's happening is it seems like the destination cell keeps moving forward. So when I paste I get:
Sheet1!A1=Sheet2!A1
Sheet1!B1=Sheet2!B1
Sheet1!C1=Sheet2!C1
I've tried adding $ to no avail.

I'm trying to simply reference a cell from another tab in the same workbook. In other words I press "=" and then point to the cell in another tab and I would expect to see that value - however I don't. What I see, as an example, is: ='Nav&SPDiary'!B24 instead of the cell value (which I know exists because I've just pointed to it.
Anyone have ANY idea why all of a sudden it's started to do this? The most annoying thing is it worked fine before and now it doesn't do what I want...

I am working in Excel 2003. I consider myself a little more experienced than a beginner, but not quite an intermediate. My problem is, I am doing percentage changes comparing the average year-to-date data of 2009 through 2012, and then I am attempting to get the percentage change of the current year-to-date data to the average of the aforementioned years.
I took an average of these numbers, that are pulled from other worksheets. The cells are set as "General".
112241 = 1.833333333 or rounded, 2 divided by 1 (the current year to date total), the result is -45%, which should be -50% decrease. The percent cell is set at percentage.
It appears the cells are not automatically rounding up.

I need to Average the cells I7, I9, F12:F18, M12:M18 in Cell G2
Cell F12 is an Average of its respective cells bellow. (and so forth)
NRT will = 1
N/O will = 0
I have cells F12:F18, M12:M18 indicate NRT in the cells when selected I would like N/O to also be displayed however it comes across as 0.
How do I avoid the #DVI/0! Errors and get the averages to calculate appropriately.

Example: I renamed cell A1 to Apple, A2 to Banana, A3 to Chair. Down in cell a50 I was using simple formulas a1+a2*a3. then copying the formula into column b50, c50,... Now when I use the formula SUM(Apple+Banana*Chair) and try to copy it into cell b50, It doesnt change the formula to SUM(B1+B2*B3).

I am working on a formula by it is repeatedly failing.
Based on input 1 which is the month name, I am looking for a formula to identify the position across columns as the starting cell and then the value in input 2 needs to be repeated 12 times from there.
Example:
Input 1 is Apr-14
Input 2 is 51.8
I have columns with month names starting Apr-13 to Mar-15
Since the input 1 is Apr-14, the formula should identify the appropriate column named as Apr-14 and from there it should copy the value (input 2 ) 51.8 for the next 12 cells which is until Mar-15. I have attaches the examples for your quick reference.

I am in the process of developing a budget template for next year and here is what I want to accomplish through Macro to avoid the tedious mannual manipulation process (hope that's achievable). BTW, I am only an entry-level Macro user who has no background in coding.
I have attached an Excel sample but let me explain:
In each of the expenses tabs (1, 2, and so on (only 1, 2 given in the sample)), I want to be able to select a range of the data cells (A19:Q34 in "Expense 1" and A10:Q28 in "Expense 2") and run this Macro so that:
1. 10 blank rows be inserted between selected data rows
2. A sum created for each month from the four rows below) with different color
3. A Year to Date Actual and To Year End Forecast created based on the VLOOKUP of the "P&L" matching the account code by month
4. Finally grouping of the first 9 rows.
the above is what I have manually created for the first account code in the "expense 1" tab. I have 7-8 expenses groups and about 200 account codes. So mannually creating the above for each expense groups is not that terrible if this will make life easier for Macro.
I would think this is a very typical Macro issue but can't really come up with anything.
The other issue I ran into the VLOOKUP for the YTD Actual and TYE Forecast. It is to look up accont code in the "P&L" tab and match the #s. But the column numbers in the VLOOKUP do not change automatically when I copy across. Thus I have to change mannually, which is really a pain in the butt. I also know I can't copy down because that will change the account code that I want it to match. Because to be able to copy the VLOOKUP formula across the same account code, I need to use the $ to fix the account code. But to copy down I think I need that to be without the $ sign. Any solution on that?

What I need is automatically find the range from selected cell till last cell in the row and run the cod for this range then do the same on next row until last row of the sheet.

I am using Excel 2007, and here is my scenario. I have a spreadsheet with a different sheet for each month of the year. I want certain cells in a month's sheet to mirror or be equal to the same cell in the previous sheet so that if I change the value of a cell in April, the same cell will automatically be changed in May.
An example is that I have a cell with the value of "Comcast". If I want to change that value in April to "Directv", I want it to automatically change in May, too.
Now I know that I can individually program a cell to be equal to a cell in another sheet and it will do exactly what I want. The problem is that I have about 60 cells in each sheet that I want to mirror the same cells in the previous sheet, and I don't want the entire sheet to mirror the previous one. So with 11 months/sheets with cells mirroring the previous sheet, individually programming 660 cells and switching between sheets to do that would take a very long time.
So my question is this. Is there any way to select multiple cells and have them all mirror the same cells on a different sheet without my having to program each cell individually?

I have two sets of data to compare. One is real world data, the other is forecasted data. I have real daily data for every day over about 3 months. The predictions though, there may be 4-6 predictions for ever one real daily value.
What I'd like to do is have a function that looks at Column A's date (real daily value) and Column C's date (predicted data) and if Column C equals Column A, then divide corresponding data in Column B by value in Column D.

I would like to search Column C for an instance of the text "Std. Residual", then cycle through the non blank cells to the right and run some formatting code:

I am trying to find a solution for highlighting cells in a column that are repeats, ie. >3. I also need these cells to only be highlighted if the adjacent cell in the next column contains specific text. I have tried using conditional formatting with a countifs formula to no avail.

I have a spradsheet that I've formatted using merged cells. The spreadsheet has several columns. Into these columns I must enter raw data extracted from our SAP data base. The extraction worksheet has no merged cells. So bottom line, I have a column of say, 30 non-merged cells and I want to paste that column into my formatted spreadsheet that has 30 merged cells of thre cells a piece (90 cells total).
So far I have been unable to do this. If I've attached it correctly, the sample attached

Usually if I filter and perform some kind of operation on the cells displayed by the filter it is only these cells affected. For example, if I run a filter that shows 10 rows and I Paste a value into say, Column A, of all 10 Rows then remove the filter and look through all my rows, only the 10 cells displayed during the filter contain whatever I Pasted in.
However, sometimes when I do this many rows that were not displayed as part of the filter are affected. For example, I Paste something into my 10 filtered Rows and after removing my filter I find that whatever was Pasted into the 10 cells is now in 200 cells.
How can I be sure that any changes I make to a set of filtered cells are ONLY applied to those cells?

Say I have data in one tab that is cells
A9, B9, C9, D9, etc.
On the next tab, I want the cell in D5 to equal A9, D6 to equal B9, D7 to C9, etc.
I can't seem to lock the cell correctly to do this. If I use =A$9 in cell D5 and then copy down in cell D6 I'll get A$9 also, but if I use $A9, in D6 I'll get $A10.

1. Where there is data in column B
2. Goto first row of data
2. If column J = "Closed"
3. then select Cells from column B to J in that row and colour these cells in red
4. If column J= "Open"
5. the select Celss from column B to J in that row and colour these cells in grey
4. Repeat for next row until you get to cell in column B where there is no data.

When I run the macro, some columns are already hidden. The macro doesn't seem to autosize cells correctly. For instance, one cell in a row appears to have some contents hidden (or below the reading area of the cell). In other instances, the rows are auto-size to huge heights and widths.

Is there any way in VBA to assign a range of cells to a specific dimension of an array? For example: I have dblArray(1000,7). I want all the values of the eighth slot (xxx,7) to be put into a column on a spread sheet. So, i am looking for a quick piece of code that will look (Mine's in psuedo) something like:
range(cells(1,1),cells(ubound(dblarray,1)) = dblArray(XXX,7)
Obviously the XXX part wil not work for a static number (ie, all the range will be filled with one value form the array). I know how to paste a whole array into cells, and know that i can make a workaround with more code if need be, but this seems like a far simpler answer could it be achieved with a line or two of code, and I'm all about performance. I've stripped google clean looking for the answer, but can't find any info...

I have a spreadsheet with Golf Stats on it, and on my latest import, the lookup stopped working. I am no longer able to look up any of the golfers names.I have attached a portion of the spreadsheet as an example.Lookup Failure.xlsx
Before the data was pulled in 'last name','first name' but is now 'first','last'... so that explains why I have the lookup column in Column A, because it used to convert the last,first format to first,last but that is besides the point. What my real problem is not being able to lookup Column D. As you can see in Cell L4, I tried to test if K4=D4 (Both say Nicolas Colsaerts but Excel does not say they are equal).
