Sheet1 has a list that changes based upon input in Sheet2
So, I have reference pictures on Sheet2 that I would like to show on Sheet1 under the corresponding value.
Explanation: on Sheet two a value is assigned (in column B) to each category (Column A) and then it is ranked (Column C)
Sheet 1 lists the categories in rank order.
I want pics to show under each category.
I saw some articles online, but have been unable to make it work.
I have set up a rollover hyperlink so that when I hover over the cell it changes colour and creates a good effect. To do this I have another cell on the sheet that turns to 1 when the cell in question is hovered over.
I need a code so that when that cell displays the number 1. the object (which is rectangle 2) changes from white fill. to a picture I have saved on my desktop.
I cant quite figure out the coding and have been messing about with things like..
if cell range e.g a1 = 1 then rectangle 2 .userpicture " path " else .solid etc.
I am a complete newbie with the camera tool. Is there any way to make the camera tool dynamic so that the cells the tool is referencing can change upon the click of a button or some other form of switch? I am creating my first dashboard and this is the last step for my report to be completely dynamic.

I have found a few solutions here in the message boards but I don't see one that totally matches what I need. Basically I want it to look up the clients logos. We only have a few clients but when sending the report to a client we don't want them to be able to see or find who our other clients are or their logos. So I need it to display a picture based on a value but to also have the pictures on a seperate sheet that I can delete before distributing.
A variation of this would work but this stores all the pics on the report sheet and just hides the non active ones. [url]
I'm looking for a way to insert / display images in a worksheet depending on the value in a cell. The following link is able to do what I need, but it's very limited - i.e. all images must be present in the worksheet first and only the one require is visible:

I have done the above where when I select a picture name from a drop down list it displays the relevant picture in another cell by using the IF function in the named formula
My question is why cant I use VLOOKUP instead of IF in the named formula. When I use it it comes with an error.

I have a sheet that I use to store machine process data. The way it works is on a main sheet I select the job I need to run and the machine I want to run it in. The sheet adjusts the process to match the machine basicly volumetric formulas and all that works great no problems. But what I would like to do is when I choose a job I would like excel to display a couple pf pictures such as a picture of the part, a picture of the machine with that job set-up in it that kind of thing. Each time I pick a new job the pictures would change with the data.
I have 50 word docs where people have pasted powerpoint slides as pictures but just used copy and paste rather than paste special, this means when pasted the file sizes are massive.

I have a group box with 5 little round option buttons in, what i wanna do is connect the options to an image and when an option is selected the image that corresponds to it shows, then when a different option is picked another image relating to that option shows.
I already have the code to import the picture but i would like it to have rounded corner's. The option if you select the picture then tick format, picture shape and it's the second rectangle in. I can not seem to find that particular piece of code for that particular shape. The other comparison is the (reflected beveled, black) option under picture format.

I am working on a spreadsheet that calculates sales results weekly / monthly / quarterly / and year to date. I need to be able to get a picture to automatically populate in a specific fields based on the sales results for that week / month / quarter / year. There are 3 pictures indicating: sales below budget (sad face), above budget but below goal (black dot), and above goal (gold star). I have tried using non-macro means, but I can't seem to get anything to work for use with multiple cells and I do not wish to use conventional conditional formatting. I do not know nearly enough about macros or VBA to even attempt this type of thing.
In Excel 2010, is there any way to paste a picture into a small picture/diagram box, and upon double clicking the picture it would explode to a larger size? And I guess double clicking it again would make it return to its original (smaller) size. I would be pasting several pictures into several different picture/diagram boxes and would need this to be a relative reference so that upon selection it explodes the appropriate picture?
I work for a UK charity and have a list of funders in an Excel 2007 spreadsheet.
One of the columns refers to the date on which a new application for funding can be made to that particular funder.
In many cases new applications for funding can't be made for 1 or more years since the last application - sometimes as many as 5 years later. How to get a cell to refer to the date that it contains.
For example, say I have in cell A1 "The Acme Funding Organisation" and in cell B1 (i.e. the "Reapply when?" column) a date of 01/04/2013 (British date format, i.e. 1 April 2013) then what I want Excel to do is to look at the date in cell B1 and if that date has been reached to highlight the cell red. That way I'll know that the reapply date has been reached & that a new application can be made.
In Column A each cell will contain a date (differnet from other cells in that column) when inspection was last done.
Column B is when the weekly inspection is due. Column C is when bi-weekly inspection is due. Column D is when monthly inspection is due. Column E is when 6 monthly inspection is due.
I need a formula to change the colour of cells B, C, D & E when each inspection is due depending on the date entered in A
I am hoping its possible that the cell colour can stay for 2 days after the due date and then return back to blank after the second day.
For example if cell A1 has a date of January 1 2013 then on January 8 2013 cell B1 turns red then on January 10 2013 the cell returns back to normal.

I have two columns. In column B is the date of "last check". I column A is the date of "next check". I would like to have cell A2 in yellow color 334 days after the date entered in cell A3 and than in red color 365 days after the date entered in cell A3. Same thing for cell B2 related to date entered in cell B3. Yellow color in cells announces that check will expire within 30 days and red color that check has been expired.
I need to write a condition in such a way that cell IF A1= "DBR","BPR","SLR","SKR" then change cell B1 to SPECIFIC COLOUR Each condition different colour. A1 values ("DBR","BPR","SLR","SKR") is a list of selectable values. if the condition is falls then B1 should be normal (white color cell) with 0 in it.
My goal from image is to enter a number for example in cell F4 and have in appear in L6 so simply L6=F4 but I want it to be negative if cell M2 reads "Outgo" and positive if cell M2 reads "Intake" as selected from the list. Is this possible?
