I need a userform in which I choose the field "product" and it loads the picture from the path at "Defect Picture". Is it possible?
I have a dropdown box with a few options in it. What I want to do, is have excel load a particular picture, that I have saved on my computer, into the background when a certain option is selected from the dropdown box.

Google search has shown me ways to create a progress bar using Excel Forms. However, I am looking for a way to show the progress bar till the main userform is loaded.
The form is not uploading my dropdown box. I know I am missing something in the code, but I am not sure what.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have created the attached spread sheet to work out and calculate gp on products. Sheets and userform1 are working perfectly how ever userform2 wont load and I believe its something to do with the named range? The idea for this userform was to select a product from combobox1 and then change the price on sheet1 and clear the price on sheet 2 in the different sizes.
Also userform2 i would like to create it so that if any of the fields are left blank it wont change price of selected field in sheet 1 and wont clear selected area in sheet 2.
Finally is there a way on userform1 to shrink the userform size depending on how many sizes are needed?

I made a template file with a userform included to enter data into a protected sheet at the command of a button. When I open the template, everything works fine. However, when I use a macro to create a new workbook and import the template to create a new sheet (or several) the userform suddenly disappears! The template is saved as macro-enabled and the new workbook is saved the same way. What am I missing that I'm loosing the userform??

My problem is now I want to get the Listbox1 results to populate my UserForm5 textboxes from the row selected in the ListBox1 of Userform4, but I am getting the error "variable not defined" and the "rw" gets highlighted. as seen in the code below it.

Userform Loading with database turns to close all Excelworkbooks completely
Database created in Excel worksheets to load and show in various different objects on userform. At present this project file size is approximately 2.5 mb and more to go as it is not yet complete. Now you can imagine how much big this project can be.
It uses various different types of objects such as listboxes with many columns, combo-boxes, textbox, checkbox and many. Every objects has its own style to display data on userform which is set in its properties itself.
Before loading userform to display, program creates database from manual entry (which is made by user on their working sheets) to database entry sheets (which is made to make compatible to show on userform). Upon loading, it also loads/populate all datas required in their objects to display.
All works perfect when I am in editing mode. It doesn't matter how big the database can be and works as required. This Project is now Password Protected and distributed among all staffs in our company to work with.
Error Occurs, when I tested in non-editing mode. The moment I triggered the macro to load the program, it takes some few times and pops-up with Excel Recover error message box asking whether to send Error Report and to whether recover & start Excel application again??
I don't know what is wrong. Sometimes it also run successfully when in non-editing mode even there is no changes in program codes.??
Sometimes I feel there can be a virtual memory issue, but my Pc is more than enough with 1GB ram. I hv also increased virtual memory limits and tested but all vain attempt...
I have found a few solutions here in the message boards but I don't see one that totally matches what I need. Basically I want it to look up the clients logos. We only have a few clients but when sending the report to a client we don't want them to be able to see or find who our other clients are or their logos. So I need it to display a picture based on a value but to also have the pictures on a seperate sheet that I can delete before distributing.
A variation of this would work but this stores all the pics on the report sheet and just hides the non active ones.

So, I have reference pictures on Sheet2 that I would like to show on Sheet1 under the corresponding value.
Explanation: on Sheet two a value is assigned (in column B) to each category (Column A) and then it is ranked (Column C)
Sheet 1 lists the categories in rank order.
I want pics to show under each category.
I saw some articles online, but have been unable to make it work.
I'm looking for a way to insert / display images in a worksheet depending on the value in a cell. The following link is able to do what I need, but it's very limited - i.e. all images must be present in the worksheet first and only the one require is visible:

I have done the above where when I select a picture name from a drop down list it displays the relevant picture in another cell by using the IF function in the named formula
My question is why cant I use VLOOKUP instead of IF in the named formula. When I use it it comes with an error.
I am trying to come up with a way of tracking our new hires and how many go to each solution, within a few orgs. I am given a list by HR and run a series of =countifs to break down the matrix. I have a fixed number of solutions, all to be counted within each of 4 orgs. Ultimately I want to have multiple columns within each of these orgs to represent our various start date cycles.
I am trying to figure out the easiest way to load each of 4 count column to the next empty column, within 4 columns in a new worksheet.
Using VBA I have used "LoadPicture" to load a picture to a picture frame on my userform. The actual file name is driven from a label. I now want to unload it so the value is None.

The picture's name (e.g. J-145.jpg) will be found in another sheet (called MP) in cell H1.

I have a userform which takes a large amount of sequential geographical data and builds a theoretical model of my layout whithin excel. However I would now like to incorperate an interactive aspect to this userform. I have written code which draws a line diagram whithin a seperate CAD app and imports it as a picture to the excel userform each time the user updates the data, but I would like to be able to select different areas whithin the data by clicking in the appropriate place on the picture in the form. I know this kind of interactivity is a bit beyond visual basics line of duty but my model MUST stay whithin the confines of excel thereforwe my front end must remain VBA for the time being.
My other option is to build up a diagram out of smaller components (boxes etc) whithin the userform. This would be entirely acceptable, however I'm not too sure if its possible to 'create' new pictures on the form from whithin the code.
