Process To Remove Background Links From Entire Sheet

I have a spreadsheet that was given to me from an outside source, and a lot but not all of the cells (seem to be random) have links associated with them so that if you click a cell, it opens a new internet browser window directing to the link. Is there a way for me to remove every single one of these links without having to go cell by cell looking for each one ?

Currently use this macro (see below) but occasionally I have more rows than 842. I could increase to 10000 and this would work but looking for a more automated macro that will automatically remove duplicates from all rows i.e. a macro that works out all rows.

with performing the following tasks with VBA:
1). For each cell that in the range that has a Red background delete the entire column
I have attached a sample spreadsheet where I have tried to do this. It's not quite working. It does not seem to work when there are RED cells next to each other.
I know that I can do a simple thing like column("A:A"), but I'd rather have it in a loop as in the sample code, in case the columns change in the future.
2). The second task is to delete the rows in the spreadsheet where the first cell in the row is a blank.

I have 10 workbooks which have various calculations and have several links to each other. We use Excel 2003.
For each of these files, I have the following code in the Auto_Open module
Range Range(“TodayComp”) is a date taken form a link in another spreadsheet. It is on Column 3, but the row changes every day as more rows are inserted before it
This sub looks at Range(“TodayComp”) and checks the date on the cell directly above.
If say Range(“TodayComp”) is 6/25/2008, and the cell above is 6/22/2008, it will insert three rows right above Range(“TodayComp”). These rows need to be copied with formulas from the current row above Range(“TodayComp”)
Issue One:
The following code works (it copies the rows), but it takes forever to run, as you can see in bold, I copy and paste each cell, instead of the entire row.
Is there a way to copy and paste the entire row? Remember that I have only a named range to refer to, no cell address as it changes every time.

I have a workbook linked to another one. When I try to change the links to another book, I get a message ' the cell orchart your are trying to change is protected and therefore read only". I have checked and doubled checked and cannot find any worksheet that is protected. How can I find the problem cell or change the link to another book? I have the password but cannot find the worksheet?

how can I change the following code so that the cell background colour remains the same. the below code unlinks the hyperlinks but deletes the backgroundcolour also of all the cells.

I'm using a dde link to import stock data into a workbook. The service that I use didn't create time templates when they wrote the excel add in for intraday data.
Because of that I get zeros in data fields when the stock isn't being traded. For example, when I update in the morning the stock hasn't been traded in three hours, so when requesting hourly data I have three rows where the Open, High, Low, and Close columns are field with zeros.
Is there anything that I can add into the dde array that would have excel only import data with price value greater than 0?
I've been trying to weigh my options but my excel experience is limited.

how to write code that would remove a leading zero (if there is a leading zero) from each cell in a column that looks like this:

I know that using regular expressions would work but I don't know how to implement this. The column will always be column 'C' in my spreadsheets. I already have other code which is executed when I click a 'Process' button that relies on this column having no leading zeroes for it to work, hence I need to add in code that will make this change.

I have mananged to find and tweak the following code in order to serve my copy / paste to master sheet requirements.
At the bottom of the code I have added a delete rows based on column contents routine although I'm not sure if it is actually the right one to use.
I have included it in the same module in order to tidy up the whole process and have it all operate under one click.
As stated on the sheet in this exmple, The paste could consist of any number of sheets although the range is always the same on each sheet. (only amounting to around 20 rows that we are dealing with so no reams of data with odd empty rows that would take an age to find otherwise).
The data can look like it does on Sheet 2 here and also could look like it does on sheet 3. (this data is coming from a sales rep's order sheet)
From the routine in module 1, I just don't know where an "add an empty row" or delete all empty rows bar 1" code would need to be inserted in order to keep the process going until all sheets are copied.
I'm aware that with the delete code at the bottom, the whole copy process is completing before the delete process then does it's bit so think I'm on the right track in thinking that the delete all empty rows but leave one" requirements needs to be further up the code but I just don't how to get the result I need or where that code should break into the routine.
The only other way I can think to acheive the result is to allow the range to increase by 1 row on the form but somehow make sure that the last row in the range contains a character in column B to "trick/force" the delete routine to leave that row in. That would be do-able but the trouble is, how do you get a value into a cell that the delete proces would treat as data but not be visible so keeping my spacer line tidy? I've tried just putting a space in the last row of the range in column B but the row still gets deleted.

I'm trying to put the image in the background by doing 'Format - Sheet - Background'
but the image become tiles instead of one.
I want the image in the background so I can edit cells with formulas on top of the image. Is there any way of manupilate the background image with Macro so I can have just on image instead of tiles?
I've done watermark but that's only available in preview. I'm using Excel 2003

Is there anyway to put a background on a worksheet, without the file size of the workbook becoming monstrously huge? I have a small jpg file of our company logo, and I think that it would be a nice touch for it to be the background to our spreadsheet. But when I use this 50k file as the background, the workbook suddenly grows to a size of 7MB.

I'm working with a very large spreadsheet which has somehow divided itself into print areas. Each section has 'Page 1' or the equivalent as a background, behind the data itself. I thought it would be simple to remove this, but for the life of me I can't see how. I'm using Excel 2007.

I have a sheet that I want to have a double line border around the outside. Thats easy if there were a set number of rows but in my sheet the number of rows will depend on the size of the rows because of the different amount of information in each cell. So how do I make it print a border around the entire sheet no matter how many rows are in the sheet??

I work for a production hombuilder and I am developing a schedule to track community development. We have over 20 communities that we will need to use the sheet that I have devised to track progress. Is there a way that I can somehow create a link to an individual sheet within the workbook for easy navigation?
The alternative I believe would be to just have all of the communities on one sheet but have to scroll down a number of rows to display the timelines.

I have VBA code that creates three reports based on fields a user chooses. When the user clicks the button to create the first report, links are built to the files which contain the fields they chose. There are approximately 15 files that need to be linked in every report.
When the links are built, referencing the external files, the system is extremely slow.
I have Application.ScreenUpdating = False and Application.Calculation = xlCalculationManual.
Despite these settings, the links pull in updated values.
Also, to create the last two files, I do a FIND/REPLACE to change the cells referenced in the links, causing it to choke.
would get the links in place without updating each one as it is created?

I have a workbook which has links to another excel workbook (source). This workbook has many sheets -all exact copy- with different names. I changed startup prompt (edit->links) to "dont display the alert and dont update automatic links". Then I recorded a macro for updating links (from source) and assigned this macro to a button. What I want to do is when I click this update button I want links to be updated only on the active sheet that Im on. My problem is, when I press this button, it updates all links including other sheets (basically whole workbook).
My current macro is (I dont know coding but I tried changing ActiveWorkbook to ActiveSheet but it didnt work):

I have multiple sheets on which users enter data in Cells B3 to B21 on each sheet.
I have a master sheet where the information entered on individual sheets is copied by links. On the master sheet the information is displayed in Rows. Thus data on Sheet1 B5:B25 is displayed in Row 6 cells H6:Z6 of Master Sheet, data on Sheet2 is displayed in Row 7 cells H7:Z7 etc. The formula in H6 of the Master Sheet is =Sheet1!B5, in H7 it is =Sheet2!B5 etc. It is of course not possible to use Autofill to copy formulas across on the Master sheet. It can be done manually but there are hundreds of cells to fill.
Is there an elegant way to copy the formulae on individual sheets onto the Master Sheet.
I want to be able to repeat the procedure later if additional sheets need to be added.
