I have the following script which has the cell address as the string and want to remove the dollar signs.

I have 4 columns in which is text combined with numbers (Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet t-shirt LPW01-B consectetur adipiscing.) I need to search every column and cells in them for a word/string which is written in R2 and replace the word in every cell by the word in S2
So for example, in R2 is "t-shirt" and in S2 is "potato"
The program finds the entry: "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet t-shirt LPW01-B consectetur adipiscing." and replace it with "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet potato LPW01-B consectetur adipiscing."

I am trying to be able to input a value in column A and the string of text in column B will be affected by the value that I put in Column A. And i want to be able to do this with multiple rows with multiple values. Example:
My string of text in column B remains the same until the value of Column A changes. The find/replace will overwrite the "" in the string. This is my string of text in Column B: "^cCHT;all;;t;g;F1;F1;;all;;t;g;F2;F2;;all;;"
A1 value = "ABC"
Resulting Text in B1 = "^cCHT;all;;t;g;F1;F1ABC;;all;;t;g;F2;F2ABC;;all;;"
A2 value = "XYZ"
Resulting Text in B2 = "^cCHT;all;;t;g;F1;F1XYZ;;all;;t;g;F2;F2XYZ;;all;;"
I know that I can accomplish this by creating a button but I was wondering if there is a more automated way like a formula in a cell or something.
I have a text such as:

I want to do is search for "&s_kwcid" or anything containing "&s_kwcid" and replace it with blank. So above would then read:
fdfs
sfsd
&dfsdaf&dsafdsf
fdsf&dasfsdf
I tried =IF(SUM(COUNTIF(E2,{"&s_kwcid*"}))=1,E2,"") but it didn't work. I tried auto filtering, and using contains &s_kwcid* but it didn't filter out results, but find &s_kwcid did find results for text anywhere in string, so I know the problem is there.
I have a query in a text file.

I want to open the file and replace the first %d with value1 and second %d with value2 and third %d with value3.

I want to remove a string of text from the front and rear of a cell value and would like to do it with one formula. I have tried using LEFT,RIGHT and LEN. I would Like to use the SUBSTITUTE formula as the user can define the actual string to be removed.
I can achieve want i want using two columns i would just like to be able to consolidate down to one.I have tried nesting the formulas but i always seem to get an error.

I am trying to tidy up a stock control program called Autopart (v20).
The problem I have is that suppliers descriptions use the " character instead of the word inch when describing products. This causes issues when reporting or comunicating to Microsoft Purchase Plus Ordering System.
Is there an easy way that I can remove alll of the " characters from the description cells in a text string?
I have a large worksheet and I managed to duplicate data in a row of cells.
MOT 1/F1,
B/P 1f2,
B/P 1f2
In the string above I need to delete all text from the first comma to the end of the string so the above would look like:
MOT 1/F1
This is an example in one cell of many. The text prior to the first comma may or may not repeat and it is the only portion of the text I wish to keep. The first comma is not always in the same place (character count position).
I need to remove only numbers from excel cell - I have tried using the "constant" function but did not work. I have thousands of cells with a consistent 4 digit number like this:
1000 the rest is text
How can I remove only numbers but leave all text in the cell and then if I can trim the cell so there are not any spaces at the beginning afte removing the numbers.

The first part of the text string is a team code that has a variable number of numbers, capital letters and sometimes spaces. The second part of the text string is a variable number of words in a team name that all start with a capital letter and have lower case letters. Every line has a different team code and team name.
The original spreadsheet also has a column with just team code. Is there a way of using this column to "subtract" the team code from the text string to just leave the team name?

Trying to repeat a 550 or so character statement with a find/replace however I am getting type mismatch errors. When I use a smaller message in the "replace" it works.

when I do find and replace of "/" with a blank it makes it www.abce.comdef, which is not what I want.
I have very large text data which contains accented characters (E.g., "ÑÒÓÔÕÖÙÚÛÜÝàáâãäåçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõöùúûüýÿˆµ" etc.) within words.
Since I have several data sheets, some of which having 500000+ rows, Find and Replace and similar options are not viable.
I wish to replace each of these characters with regular English characters in all sheets. If that is difficult, these must at least be removed from the whole text. note that I need to preserve regular characters that are commonly used, particularly the hyphen (-) and underscore (_).
I am trying to create code that I can use to to update a macro module automatically so I don;t have to keep having my users manually import when we have update to the module.

I have a list of stock codes which are 6 digits long and there are over 550 of them.
We have shortened our codes to a five digit number, removing the first digit.
Is there a way to delete the first digit of the numeric and replace it with the remainder in all of the 550+ cells?

Basically for a 1D array, the minimum and maximum values are within one set of brackets, whereas for 2D array (as shown in the second row), there would be nested brackets with comma after every closing bracket being a row separator.
My requirement is to write a macro to replace the minimum and maximum values in every row of the worksheet (I do not know the exact number of rows as it could vary) with just one value instead of repeated values depending on the size of the array. In other words, I am looking at the below output:

I'm working with some data exported from a database. Unfortunately, when data is exported to excel, cells that should be completely blank (i.e. ISBLANK formula would return TRUE) actually contain empty strings.

I've been given the assignment to replace an old company name with the new one in an excessive amount of excel files. All the excel files seem to be some kinds of forms with fancy buttons and such. I've been trying to research this quite a bit but only found some shady programs which I'm not installing on company computers so I decided to write a batch script to try and accomplish this, if you have any other ways to do this do let me know. I created a vba procedure for a particular job but within that procedure I need to perform another task. I've been trying to come up with a regular expression but to no avail. I'm looking to loop through a range of cells for any string where there isn't a space before and after a hyphen. When occurance is matched, then replace with spaces. One exception to the rule would be if data is contained within parentheses, then ignore. There could be zero occurances in string to many.
ie.
abc - def ==> ok, s/b skipped
abc - def (nnn-mmmm ooo) ==> ok, s/b skipped
abc-def (nnn-mmmm ooo) ==> abc - def (nnn-mmmm ooo)
