Set Text & Hide Control On UserForm Show/Load

I'm trying to do is set up a form load event to initlize some controls. Here is my

lblProcessing.Visible = False

At the moment, this event is not triggering. I have the code in the code behind my form - should it be in a module? PS: This site is great - it's answered a lot of my other questions so far without me having to make any posts.

I have an image box on a userform in Excel VB. Is there ANY WAY to load an image into this image box from an object that I have loaded into an excel worksheet something like

i have a user form which is activated by a button. when this button is clicked excel crashs every now and then. i get an error message run time error 75, could not find object. it asks me to debug or end. whatever option i choose when i try to save the worksheet there after excel crashs and closes. any body else have this problem, what could be the cause?

I have an userform, with a label and several commandbuttons(for instance, command button A, B, C, ...) . Now if I click the command button A I would like to load in the label A text previously written in sheet1 range A1, if I click the command button B I would like to load in the label another text previously written in sheet1 range b1 (the old text shouuld obviously disappear)

I have a form that is dynamically created at runtime. I have assigned the controls to a frame in VBA and also attached a horizontal scrollbar manually to that frame.
How can I control the scrollbar in VBA to appear, when columns of controls added to the frame exceeds 10. If not I want the scrollbar to be invisible?

I bet you're getting sick of the "X" questions, and I have done an exhaustive search but the search filter kills searching for (X) or 'X' or "X" .. but nothing I did find is what I am looking to do. I have any # of userforms that when you click the "X" in the top right side, it will hide the userform... once.. Is there a fix to the code below to make it do it every time its clicked?

Like I said, I don't want to disable it, I tried that off of one of the posts I found and thats just plain annoying, I just want it to hide the one userform and show the other. This will do it once and then you can click it all you want and it wont do anything.. see the annoying trait above.. this lasts until you exit the program.. so the X button can be hit repeatedly though out the day. The userform 15 is visible, userform 11 isn't shown, IE not behind userform 15.

how to creat a userform with a button (1) to show anouther userform with a button (2). you click the button on 1 and it shows 2. then when you click the button on 2 and it shows 1. I'm having a problem with the second part.

I need some code that will do the following in a UserForm:
If option1 is selected = textbox1 is visible, textbox2/combo1 is hidden
If option2 is selected = textbox2 is visible, textbox1/combo1 is hidden

get my code to work.
I have a sheet with a dropdown box in cell "J1" which is meant as a 'Show only rows containing this value'.
Column Q, from row 3 downward has a pick box which lists the same values as the "J1" drop down box, but uses code to combine whats chosen with commas. An example of what is in a cell in column Q is "SeaHawk, BlackHawk, Squirrel, MRH", where cell J1 would be either "SeaHawk" or "MRH" or something completely different.
I need to only show rows, with text in column Q containing the smae text as J1.

I have created a User Form with required controls to add data in a worksheet and it works fine. Now, I want to retieve data from the hidden worksheet and to view the data in one or two text box controls by clicking a command button placed on the user form. I expect the user to use the user form only.

how I can pass a value to this function. For example I know the record id that I want loaded, it is 42, so I want to create a button that brings up record id 42 when clicked. I think to do this I would load the form, then call cmbSelect() and pass it Me.TextBox1 = Value "42", but I am not sure on the syntax on how to do this

I have tried a couple things to get this image to show up on my userform and i keep erroring out.
Run-time Error '404' Object required
If i hover over the "userpic" in debug it has the correct referance, its just not doing anything.
Any help or suggestions would be great.

This is weird - if you delete a sheet that contained a control then
a. showing a modeless userform resluts in a userofrm that goes invisible at subroutine End
b. public variables lose their value
These things do not happen if the sheet did not contain a control. Attached is an example file - put the inputfile.xls in your default file location (or add a path in the code) then open the ProblemDemo.xls and run the main macro to see it fal - isthis another Excelbug I've found?

how I would go about addressing this issue. I am given a directory with individual files in it. Each file has critical information I have to extract from it. So, I want the user to provided this directory to the macro and I want the macro to cycle through each file in this directory (excluding super and sub direcories), open it, retrieve info, and close it

I have several non-modal userforms in my App, some of them have date-fields that require manual entry typing of dd/mm/yy etc (No single userform has more than one date-box in it, this I think may be pivotally useful)
Now the Userform 'Calendar' that is built on the class of the same (cCalendar) name, has the write value line 'ActiveCell.value = theCal.value'
I'm looking to change this to refer to the correct userform.Textbox value, depending on which form is open.
I would imagine I could simply have a global string, whose value is set (or re-set) whenever a Userform is initialized (some sort of 'ActiveUF.value = Me.Name), where I get lost is referring to the components by name, so as to have a case statement by where I go:

Every time I have to do this particular thing with userforms, I completely forget how, and the object browser always leads me on an infinite loop of Application.vbe.activevbproject.vbcomponents.vbe.active....
PS - there may be one slight complication to the process - one of the forms, has a 2-tab page in it, each page having similar (but named differently) fields. So I may need to be able to throw in 'Activepage' or whatnot

you can see we've hit a problem with the Calendar Control object.
I submitted a workbook which has an Activex calendar control embedded on a User Form. On my PC everything appears as you'd expect, with the calendar showing the individual days in the calendar matrix. However when the user loads the form on their system, although they see the calendar as you'd expect, and they can change the month & year at the top of the calendar, they don't see the individual day numbers, 1,2,3 etc. within the body of the calendar.

how can I load a text box where the user can push enter and go to another line? That would be like a comment box. If I put the traditional text box, I can only write in the first line and enter doesn't work. Is there a way to program it, where it would work?

I am thinking of creating a "summery" macro that would run at the end of my workbook and would show all the userforms needed(up to 10-20 forms) at the same time one on top of another kind of staggered.(like windows would do). However I realized that when I code userform.show then the "summery" macro would pass control to the form that was just shown, and wait for it to be unloaded before progressing to the next line of code. for example;

I have a list box that I'm using to pull customer information from my "Customer" sheet to my "Invoice" sheet. I can actually open, select, and close the userform. However, I can't get the macro to put the information into the specified location on my "Invoice" sheet.

Ive made a worksheet with a userform and ListBox. The listbox is filled with names. If you click on the last button a msgbox with your selected names is displayed. If you select the button without a selection from the listbox a message pop ups to warn that no selection is made. If you select any name afterwards and click on the button the message still pops up unless you select the first entry from the list ("natalie") then the code is right executed. I'm struggeling with the code for several days. I wonder if by any change somebody wants to correct the code. (I've uploaded my sheet)

Trying to use above code to unload active userform and show new userform when red X (close) selected by operator. With the code as is, the Unload Me leaves the form on the screen and displays the RestrictedOptions form. If i remove the Restrictedoptions.Show, the Unload Me does remove the original form.

having trouble with the details of actually making these features work for me. I figured out how to create a UserForm with a ListBox and 2 buttons, but I don't know how to proceed from here.
1. Populate the ListBox in the UserForm with a list of names from the sheet "Totals_Dropdowns", cells K2:K11
2. Make the UserForm pop up and enter the user's selection into cell C40 of the "Regenerate Request"
I know these are very basic operations, and I'm pretty sure I can figure out the rest of my problems once I can get past the above.
