Creating a formula that would generate a perfect and full circle - see attached picture example. The circle needs to remain centered in the X,Y axis. Also the circle diameter will either be 1, 2, 3, or 4 units large depending on user selection.

I was working on a chart to calculate my Amazon seller rating to see how many more perfect order I need to hit my next target grade. Here is how the calculation works.
Order with no problem gets 100 points per order
Minor problem gets 0 point
Moderate problem minus 100 points
Severe problem minus 500 points
Grade are evaluate by:
<84.5 Fair
<96.5 Good
<98.5 Very good
Above is Excellent
Total points / total orders = final grade (or percentage)
As of now i got : 53800 (points) / 624 (orders) = 86.22(%)
Now that I know what grade I've got so far and I also want to know how many more perfect orders I need to achieve my next targets or in case some bad orders come by and how far they pull me down.
Attached is my work sheet so far and I'm just missing the calculation for the orange shaded part.

I am trying to create a system to organize my company products. Up until now we had no part numbering system so I created one. The part numbering systems goes as such
Brand Code.Product Code.Bike Code.Color
These are examples
S7R.SF.101.Black
S7R.SF.101.Blue
S7R.SF.101.Gold
[Code]....
What I would like is to create a formula to expand the part number back to its full length name using tables on other sheets. I have tables for the brand code, product code and bike code. What I would like to have it do is Lookup the first part of the code "S7R" on a column from the following page and return the data from the cell next to it. Then continue on to do the same for the second part "cs" and the third"101" and so forth.
Basically the top example above would expand to be
Strada7 Short Folding Aprilia RSV4 Black
S7R = Strada7
SF = Short Folding Levers
101 = Aprilia RSV4
Black = Black

I have two spreadsheets of data I export regularly from an outside source. I want to consolidate the data from these two sheets into one large sheet with all the data in a more concise form bringing in only the data related to certain parts I am conducting analysis on. I have a list of these parts already. My first thought on how to do this would be to use the list in an entry for an input box and have that list be the index for a for loop in which i searched for a part code, copied the entire corresponding row, and pasted it back into the master sheet. I have gone through and tried to do this but I am running into problems because sometimes I have multiple rows of data that correspond to a single part number. I have attached a template of the way that the data should look in the master file with the multiple rows of details that correspond to just one part entry.

I have a spreadsheet, but I need the following formula to make our lives easier here.
I have the following columns:
Rate, I/T/P/S, FT/PT
I need a formula that when I enter "I" for Infant it will give me the FT (full time) or PT (part time) rate. All the columns have drop down menus, so if I choose "I" under the ITPS column and then choose FT, I want the formula to be able to give me the full time rate which is 157.94

A spreadsheet im currently working on has the following formula
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Data Entry'!G2:G6000="AAAA"),--('Data Entry'!L2:L6000="Jun 14"),--('Data Entry'!M2:M6000))
It works fine, apart from the bolded text. In the Data Entry worksheet, column L has dates in the format dd/mm/yyyy. I'd like to get any date from June to be included without manually changing every date in June to Jun 14.
I think theres 3 ways of doing this, any of which would be great. Heres what I think. Where "Jun 14" is searching for exact text, I thought maybe I could change it to MONTH=6 or something to pick out June direct from a dd/mm/yyyy format. I couldnt get this to work. Know of anything I could replace "Jun 14" with?I tried to change the format of the entire column L in 'Data Entry' to a 3 letter month and 2 letter year. how to change the cell date format to fit this?Or if I changed the format of the dates to "01 June 2014" could I change my formula to try and just pick out the specific text "June" ignoring the day and year?
I know there must be a way how, but I can't seem to get it right.
The other option I thought of was to create a new column in the Data Entry sheet using the formula =MONTH(A1), then changing the formula to search for "1", "2", "3" etc for each month. I didn't do this as for the purpose of this the exact date is NOT important, only the Month is.

Is there a formula to set the a date in Excel based off the next full calendar quarter? In cell G2 I have the contract date: 01/26/06. I would like to have a formula in I2 that displays the first day of the next full calendar quarter, which is 04/01/06
More example dates:
if my contract date is: 10/21/05
my start date is: 01/01/06

Is there anyway to create a checkbox or anything that if a condition were met, it would circle a value?
Simply put, I'm transferring an expense report from paper to excel, and this report is still entered by accounting from hard copies. The expense report requires that all credit card expenses be circled. Previously, I've created cell sized circles, left them unprotected so that they could be dragged over the credit card expense. I would like to add a checkbox somewhere that says, "Circle Expenses" or "Circle All Expenses".

I've been look for an excel tool to draw venn diagrams with the 'circle' size in propartion to the set (population) sizes and the correct degree of intersect.
Having no luck I've made one myself - it's not pretty (the code sure is ugly) but it get's the job done.
May not work in versions earlier than xl07 - haven't been able to test
So take a look - pull it to pieces all you want.

I a protected workbook I have the rows and columns indicated below. Each letter in the 2nd row is in a single cell. When completingthe entire form I want to be able to have the appropriate letter circled. I am not permitted to change this selection process to a drop down list - it must remain as formatted.

we have salespeople in all 50 states and each state uses different rules for business days. Some states include Saturday as a business day, some don't, and Alaska uses 5 business days including Saturdays. We are open 7 days a week.
What I am trying to create is a worksheet that has each day of the month going down and in the cells next to it, a column for states that include Saturdays as business days; so a date 3 business days out would appear in the next cell. In the cell after, a date 3 business days out not including Saturdays. And in the last cell for Alaska, a date 5 business days out including Saturday. Of course federal holidays are all excluded.
Something like this:
March w/ Sat w/o Sat Alaska
1 5 5 7
2 5 5 7
3 6 6 8
4 7 7 10
5 8 10 11
Now Vermont has extra holidays certain months so I would have to adjust that in the formula for the middle column during those months.

I had a Calendar Control (2007) but now stuck using 2013. I have to change all of codes related to my Calendar Control to a Month View Control. Problem is I had 4 command buttons beside my calendar to automatically add value to the calendar:
My Code is in a userform. Standard code for MonthView:

Basically it was “highlighting” the todays date but if one of the cmd_button was clicked then it would highlight the today’s date plus 15 (making the highlighted date, if we take today as an example: 2014/05/22).
Now with the Month View is there a way to select the exact same thing? I mean I know if I deactivate the “Show Today” in the properties but is there a way to make the selected date to have the “Circle in Red” around the date IF I click on a command button?

Actually i can do it just by using LOOKUP formula but the mark scheme says LOOKUP and IF.
If i use Just LOOKUP i should do the same thing for other cells but i want to generate a formula and replicate it through all the cells.
Here is the question;
Enter formulae in cells C2:C10 that refer to Book Orders.CSV and display whether the Text Book is Required by the student whose Student id is entered in cell A2.

I need 2 different formulas to generate commission reporting information on the Summary tab of the attached sample Excel file. The first is highlighted in green. For these cells, I need a sum formula that reports the total commissions (column H of the "Data" worksheet) for items Ordered in the month listed in column B of the "Summary" worksheet, but not invoiced until the month listed in the column D, E & F headers of the same worksheet. Date of item order can be found in column A of the "Data" worksheet. Date of invoice can be found in column E of the "Data" worksheet.
Now, the problem that I think I am going into is the way Excel handles dates and times. All columns and data highlighted in orange on the data sheet need to be maintained without being changed, as eventually I am going to have a report setup by our operating program drop in there so that it automates the information without any additional labor by our employees who have varying levels of Excel proficiency. Unfortunately, the report from our operating program cannot simply list a date without a time. Feel free to create any column or field to the right of the orange columns in order to complete formulas based on those orange columns. I will just lock those cells when finished so that coworkers don't accidentally blow the shizel up.
The second sum formula that I need is highlighted in yellow on the "Summary" worksheet. Basically, I need a formula that sums all commissions in column H of the "Data" worksheet for those items that are cancelled AFTER invoicing. Column D of the "Data" worksheet lists the cancellation date. There are explanations for each of these on the worksheets for quick referral.

I am trying to creat an IF formula for a spread sheet I am working on with information from Bloomberg. I am referencing sheet one to sheet two so I have that forumula in, but in some of the cells this symbol #N/A N.A. appears because some of the information is not available on Bloomberg. How can keep the referenc formula but also include a formula that basically says if #N/A/N.A. symbol appears to replace it with just NA.

I'm trying to make my life a little easier at work. Here is what I am trying to do. I'm trying to create a "calculator" that will tell me the date that a client will leave my program. I understand that I can simply do xx/xx/xxxx-15 and it will get me a new date, easy. Here is the kicker...My office only utilizes 30 day calendars. Regardless if the month has 28 or 31 days, in the eyes of my agency it will have 30.
i'm been trying to mess around with it for 3-4 days now and I can't quite figure it out. I have attached a sample spreadsheet what i'm i'm trying to do.
I would eventually like to create this to be a little interactive (like a pop up or something that is more user friendly) but i'm just itching to get it to work!

I have the records of a local angling club going back to 1932 and these records include the results of fishing matches matches held through that period. I want to analyze the catches of those matches in order to identify any trends that may exist on the river that those matches were fished and although I am reasonably computer literate I have never needed to use spread sheets.
If the data from those records were in metric measurement it would be no problem but they are in what I would refer to as Imperial measurement.
In other words they use measures in weight based on Pounds, Ounces and Drams.
There are 16 Drams in an Ounce and 16 Ounces in a Pound.
The software that is on my computer is Microsoft Excel Version 5.0c

Basically I have a web page that I want to access with a command button http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KVTN/2009/3/28/DailyHistory.html
The only problem is that the address is date specific - the blue numbers and probably every time that I use the command, it will be a different date.
I used this formula
="http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KVTN/"&TEXT(R2,"yyyy/mm/dd")&"/DailyHistory.html"
and it gives me the right web address, I just need to figure out how to make it hyperlink to that web page and then use the command button to activate the hyperlink
This is the first time I have tried to hyperlink to a web page and am lost

Column A will be completely empty.
When an * is inserted into a single cell in column A, that Row number will become the variable in this equation:
=Sheet1!$G$'variable'
i.e. if i put a * in A14, then the formula should read (=Sheet1!$G$14).
