Apr 5, 2008I've created a userform that has one ComboBox (ComboBox1) and two text fields. I am trying to get the userform to return information to my worksheet in the same row as the name that is displayed in the ComboBox. This is my VBA code.

Aug 27, 2007I have a range of some 2,000 plus cells that are various numbers in them only. What I want to be able to apply is a macro that will look at the number in a cell and if the result is between a set range, produce a text, eg.
If the number is between 0 - 999 then insert text [url] this is where you go'.
If the number is between 1000 - 1999 then insert text [url] this is where you go 2'
If the number is between 2000 - 2999 then insert text [url] this is where you go 2'
etc.
I have up to 11 ranges of numbers to insert (up to 10000 - 19999).
So the text is the result of the formula.

Jan 25, 2008I want to be able to return a text string of either Trainee 1 or Trainee 2, (or default to other text) based on codes that are 4 digits (DD01, KKB1, KKB2, KKC2, GG03, etc, where starting with K and ending with 1 or 2 is the criteria for TR 1 or TR 2 . There are two many KK** items to list them all in an If statement and I can't seem to use a wildcard.
=IF (right(c1,1) = "1", "Trainee 1", B1)
gets me halfway there I think but of course doesn`t pick up Trainee 2 and also returns Trainee 1 when it sees DD01.

The Array will only ever be 5 cells beside each other in a row

the totals on the first sheet are updated manually, but i want to change that as there are a great number of errors.

Feb 28, 2007I am just starting to get my feet a little damp with VBA and I am trying to make a macro that will act whenever any text is entered in any cell within a 3x3 square. Whenever any text is entered in any of those cells I would like it to enter a text ( "X" ) in a cell which is specified by a cell in the spreadsheet (this cell will output which cell the macro should write the text in in this format "A:1" or "C:3"). How can I make the program act only in reaction to the user entering thier text, and also, how can I get the macro to read A:1 and enter the text into that specific cell? Any help would be so awesome, the book I have is really difficult to navigate.

VBA To Automate Text Input Into Input Box
Feb 6, 2014I am in need of VBA code so that I can fill out an input form generated by someone elses macro input box. (I am the user, not the one developing the input box).
I am working to streamline a whole cluster of macros and this input box is currently my bottleneck. When the input box pops up, instead of me manually typing, I want to autofill the space with "104" and then click 'ok' uisng VBA.
I can not modify the actual VBA that created the input box (ie make 104 the default) because other users need the box to be blank.
find out how a developer would change the original vba code, not how a user can interact with an input box by using vba.

I am thinking if there was a forma that searched for "LS " (Note the space) and then returned the next two digits from the left from the found search ("LS ". I have attached a spreadsheet.
