Make Multiple Cells Display Same Value?

I've recently discovered that I enjoy making Excel spreadsheets as a tool to solve recreational puzzles. Mostly variations on crosswords and such. Honestly it probably takes much longer to organize everything into a sheet than it would to just solve on paper, but I seem to enjoy it this way more.
The Actual Question (for TL;DR Types):
Anyway, I am trying to find a way so that a group of cells can all copy the value of the other cells in the group, regardless of which cell the value is entered into. So I don't want there to be one "master cell" that all the cells are linked to. I want them all linked to each other.
Specifically, right now I am making a spreadsheet for a non-traditional style crossword puzzle. My intention was to make fields for the answers to each clue, with individual cells for each letter, as well as the crossword grid itself. Then I would link the cell in the clue answer to the cell in the grid, so that when the answer was filled it, it would be inserted in the proper place. But since this is a crossword, there is more than one clue with a letter that links to each cell. I could make it so that the cell in the crossword grid is the "master" and make the other two equal to it, but I would much rather be able to enter the letter into any of the three cells and have all three fill automatically.
I realize I am making this way more difficult than it really needs to be, but that is kind of what I enjoy about it. Finding creative ways to make the puzzles fit into a spreadsheet and making them more streamlined.

Is there a way to make a cell display the text difference between two cells?
For example of cell E2 reads "Thank Goodness it is Friday" and cell F2 reads "Thank Goodness" can I put a formula in H2 that will show the text that is in E2 but not F2 ( "it is Friday")?

I'm working on a project, and I need a cell on a worksheet to produce the name of the worksheet, such that if the worksheet changes, or is copied [Sheet1 renamed to Sheet(1), for example] the cell will automatically update [now displaying Sheet(1) in cell A1].

I need to figure a way to make to cells with dates equal each other if the
day,month and year are the same but are placed into a cell at different times during the day. "Making Date Now () = (06/29/09) In another cell". Therefore, A1= Now() and E11 = 06/29/09

I have a formula in a cell....let's say column B.
It basically says "If column A is empty,then = 24:00, otherwise = column A".
It works fine and displays as 24:00 in the proper cells, but if you try to add all the 24:00 together it doesn't work. I guess the simple question is, how do I hard code a proper time value from an If Statement.
e.g. =IF(A1="",24:00,A1)

I am using a VBA macro (Using mouse clicks as inputs for neuroscience experiment?).
What the macro does is it inputs a timestamp every time a keyboard combination is used (alt+right arrow in this case).
The part of the macro which inputs the timestamp is like this:

I would like the timestamp to be displayed as HH:MM:SS.00, i.e. show the milliseconds. I tried playing around with the timestamp format (changing it to = Format(Now, "HH:MM:SS.00" or = Format(Now, "HH:MM:SS.0;@")) or = Format(Now, "MM:SS.000") and I tried using = Evaluate("=NOW()") instead of = Format(Now, "HH:MM:SS".

am making Excel for private use, i need the following makro to be active, here is the idea because i didnt yet work with makros at all:
If A1 = False
then Range B1:D1 will be locked cells
If A1 = True
then Range B1:D1 will be unlocked cells
Those rules apply to 1 day in the year.
the range A1:D1 will be copied about 400 so the makro should be active to each day separatly.
Check the picture attached for example of one day

I have several hyperlinks that may or may not contain data, the linked cell will display "0" if there is no data. When I print I dont want the "0"s printing.
How do I make the cell display nothing when a hyperlink cell is nothing?

Say I have data in one tab that is cells
A9, B9, C9, D9, etc.
On the next tab, I want the cell in D5 to equal A9, D6 to equal B9, D7 to C9, etc.
I can't seem to lock the cell correctly to do this. If I use =A$9 in cell D5 and then copy down in cell D6 I'll get A$9 also, but if I use $A9, in D6 I'll get $A10.

In the attached file (xlsx) under 'Database' Tab poeple have indicated their preferences (multiple choices) for different food items "specialties". The specialties are grouped under broader buckets called "groups". The specialties are bucketed into groups in a way that people end up more than once in each specialties and groups due to their muliple selections. When we create a pivot by specialties (Pivot Specialties tab), each person appears only once for each specialty...it's great. But, when we create a "group" pivot (each group has multiple specialties), now, people appear more than once for each group. Is there a way, each person can show up only once under each group so the group count does not appear to be misleading?

There are multiple training sessions that will be rolling out in Q1 13 and my manager needs a way to track which empolyees have been to which training sessions. Easy enough. He wants something extremely clean looking, but obviously efficient. What he described to me (his vision) is to have the training sessions listed into columns with drop down under each that contain every employee's name. So when a training session is held, he can easily click the drop down beneath the session title and select multiple persons that were in attendance. Right now I just have all the employees listed in column A and all the training sessions listed across the top and anticipated just putting a "x" in the box for the session that each person attends. This will accomplish exactly what he's looking for, but if what he's describing is remotely possible I would like to do that.

I'm using Excel 2003 for this project.
For example: -
I have 3 pivot tables with the same row 'Media' (TV, Neswpaper, Magazine) and each has count as the data field (number of people who read/watch) then each pivot has a different column, Region, age, ***.
If I change the row of the first pivot to only show TV, how do i code it so pivot 2 and 3 only show TV also? I may have upto 20 pivots inthe end.
I found the below code to do this for page fields but can't adapt to rows -

I want to create a macro that will allow me to create a set number of copies of a specific sheet within the workbook. I have one sheet within my workbook entitled "Tab". I want to create a macro that will ask me how many copies I want to create and then proceed to create all the copies. i.e.: select to create 4 copies, with the result being: Tab[original], Tab(2), Tab(3), Tab(4), Tab(5)

I want to change the references in a VLOOKUP formula that is in 20 columns that are not all next to each other. The current formula is:
=VLOOKUP($AF5,' COUNTY ROLES '!$B$4:$D$69,3,0)
and I want the new formula to be
=VLOOKUP($AF5,' COUNTY ROLES '!$B:$D,3,0).
Is there a way to do this without having to change it in the first cell of each column and then copy/paste it all the way down each column?

Is there a way to make multiple charts off of 1 big data sheet. Sounds easy but there is more.
Sheet name is Field
Column A is Name ( about 40 different names)
Column B is Date (x axis primary and secondary)
Column D is Oil (y primary axis)
Column G is Water (y primary axis)
Column E is Gas ( y secondary axis)
Column M is MCFE (y secondary axis)
There is about 2-3 thousand rows, updated monthly. I need to make a graph by each well name.
1) can I make multiple graphs that can just look at the "field" sheet and then breakout just the 1 well name that shows up on the chart sheet that I create
I've tried pivot charts but you can't have secondary acess because it resets every time.
Basically, make multiple charts that will graph the data of a specific name in column A

I am trying to display a value based on the date column A as it corresponds to the unique value(s) in column D.
As you can see from my example, Column D may have multiples of a single item.
I was trying to accomplish this via formulas but I am open to using code.
The Value in Column G will display 'NEW' when it is the MIN value from all of the date values in Column A and its corresponding unique group in Column D.or when there is only one unique value in Column G and Column A is = today() [ROW 15]
The Value in Column G will display 'Remove' when it is the MAX value from all of the date values in Column A and its corresponding unique group in Column D.or when there is only one unique value in Column G and Column A is today() or < today(). [ROW 16] (The value in Column A cannot be greater than current date)
