Rounding Up Cell To Closest 1000 But Also If Cell Is Less Than 0 To Show 0?

Got the roundup part which is ROUNDUP(F2,-3) but having hard time with the other part If the cell (F2) is 0 or below would like to show zero. I am attaching a spreedsheet so you can see what I'm trying to get at.

I have about 300 cells filled with different formula's like the ones written below.
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Book 1'!$B$1:$B$1000="H"),--('Book 1'!$C$1:$C$1000=D21),('Book 1'!$W$1:$W$1000))
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Book 1'!$B$1:$B$1000="H"),--('Book 1'!$D$1:$D$1000=I21),('Book 1'!$S$1:$S$1000))
Spreadsheet works great, but I've realized that I should have expanded beyond the 1st 1000 cells (example: $1000). One book 1, my data entry will extend beyond row 1000.
Is there a way I can replace all $1000's on the spreadsheet with say $3000 without having to correct each of the 300 cells separately?

i have a figure of 1000 in cell a1. i want to divide it by a figure in cell b1 and have an answer in c1, or divide it by a figure in c1 and have an answer in b1.
in summary, cell a1 has i figure in it while cells b1 and c1 are empty until i enter a number into one or the other.

I am running a time series linear regression on a credit card company. The left most column is the amount of cards they had on a certain year and the prediction is the cards the regression formula predicted. The + and - are the columns added or subtracted the standard error which is 3.25. I am trying to highlight the closest +/- number to the original cards. For example, in the first Row 76.98 is closer to 78 than 83 is so i would like to have 76.98 highlighted...showing that subtracting the standard error gave us the closest prediction. The second column the 87.085 cell should be highlighted because adding the standard error gave us the closest prediction to 86.4.

In one cell i have £92.00 to 2 decimal places. If i increase that to 4 decimal places it is £91.9998. I need this £92.00 to show as £91.99 (only as 2 decimal places not 4)but when i go back to 2 decimal places it shows as £92.00 again.

I have a worksheet in which column C is a list of times in 5 minute increments. I want to activate in VBA the cell closest to noon but I can't tell it ("it" being my computer) to just find "12:00 PM" because the actual value may be 12:01, 12:02, 12:03, or 12:04. Is there a way to tell it to activate whichever value is there?

I have a spreadsheet with two sheets, 'Sheet0' & 'Sheet1'. In 'Sheet0' I have a column named 'A_Sheet0' containing a list of numbers from Rows 2 - 50. In 'Sheet1' I have 3 columns, the first containing numbers 1 to 50, the second, 'B_Sheet1' containing a list of ascending numbers and the third is the column of interest. This column entitled 'Nearest Value' must read the corresponding value of Column 'B_Sheet1' then find the closest number to that from the numbers in 'Sheet0', column 'S_Sheet0'.
I have included a sample file with this thread, and in the 'Nearest Value' column I have manually input some of the nearest values for your information.

i have a group of numbers in A1:C2 and I need a formulas to find the closest number above and below a reference number in cell A3.
so if my numbers were 12.52, 12.02, 12.98, 12.64, 12.64, 10.83 and the reference cell was 12.62 the formulas would return 12.52 as closest below and 12.64 as closest above.

I am an experienced Excel user, but it does not seem possible for this formula to be written all within one single cell. The SUM combines rounding a known value, followed by calculations, and subtracting a rounded number with modified calculations.
This is the formula which does work, although I would prefer for the sake of accuracy (and succeeding in the task of making the formula do exactly what I wanted it to do!!):
=ROUND(SUM(T9/1.5)/5,0)*(5)*(6.5%)+(26.25+15.81+1)+SUM((T9/1.5)*(6.5%)+26.25+15.81+1)*19%
The value of T9 is 2283.3 recurring.
There are two main parts to the SUM:
=ROUND(SUM(T9/1.5)/5,0)*(5)*(6.5%)+(26.25+15.81+1)
...and:
+SUM((T9/1.5)*(6.5%)+26.25+15.81+1)*19%
The challenge is to insert another:
=ROUND(SUM(T9/1.5)/5,0)*(5)
in replacement of:
=SUM((T9/1.5)
I'm aware that the use of brackets differs between the two sections of the sum, but it is neccessary to allow the correct answer.
Is this too much for one poor cell to handle?

I have this worksheet with 2 buttons and 2 textboxes.the first button is named search literally to search the items inputted in the textboxes and the second button is clear which clear all the inputted items in the textboxes and the search field. I manage to code those things however I have a main problem. How am I suppose to linked a checkbox with those items?
For example I searched this particular item so the checkbox corresponding to that item must show up in the left most column of it. and if I searched multiple items those checkboxes must show up too. I am having a hard time coding and trying since I am new in vba. I also attached a sample worksheet. I am using excel 2007.

I've got a table of different values in column A.
I'd like the cell D2 ("order") to show up at column B next to the closest value of 35.00 of column A.
Consequently, how to make "order" meet the closest several value of 35.00?

The VP of our company needs me to create a spreadsheet.
For this s/s I need the following:
Imagine 2 sheets in Excel...
sheet1
sheet2
sheet2 has sequential numbers in column1 starting in row2 with the number 1 until wherever..., so cell A2 has number 1, cell A3 has number 2, etc...
Manually, a user has to fill in certain text next to a number.
This for example would look something like this:

In a cell on sheet1 I now need the number from column A displayed, that has the latest entry in column B.
In the example above this would have to be the number 3 in cell A4, because right next to it (in cell B4) is the last entry "Whatever the third error would be..."
Addition: There are several sheets, each sheet stands for one error listed on sheet1 in column A
sheet1 for example would look like this:

I have a column of data held in column B.
I am required to show the following.
If there is data in the cell then it is to be left. If there is no data in the cell then I would like to show the value 0.
I have tried using a circular reference, using the formula =IF(ISBLANK(B1),0,B1) and other similar formulas but they dont work as the formula overwrites the data in it.
do I need a macro?, or conditional formatting?

I have a column of dates in column E1:E100.
E1 = 25/06/2012
E2 = 02/07/2012
E3 = 09/07/2012
etc.
In column F1:F100 I will insert "Y" in the one of the blank cells next to one of the date cells in column E1:E100.
In cell B1 I want to reference where the cell in column F is "Y" then use respective date in column E.
e.g.
If i have "Y" in cell F1 then in B1 I want to show E1 (25/06/2012).
If i have "Y" in cell F2 then in B1 I want to show E2 (02/07/2012).
If i have "Y" in cell F3 then in B1 I want to show E3 (09/07/2012).
etc.

I am trying to round similar to Banker's Rounding or Scientific Rounding but I can't find a consistent formula that works perfect with decimals.
Using three decimal places for all the samples, I can get 0.0785 to round to 0.078 but 0.1785 wants to round to 0.179 instead of staying 0.078. Or 0.0005 will round to 0 but 0.5115 wants to round to 0.511 instead of 0.512.
Here is a list of sample numbers along with desired results:
.0785 should be .078
.5115 should be .512
.5035 should be .504
.0005 should be 0
.0025 should be .002
.0194 should be .019
.0195 should be .02
.0135 should be .014
.0115 should be .012
.8115 should be .812
I cannot find a formula which gives me all of these results. Here is a list of the formulas I have tried so far (NOTE: cell A2 is the working cell in my worksheet where I enter the number to be rounded)
1) =MROUND(A2,0.001)
3) =ROUND(A2,3)
4) =IF(ISERROR(IF(MOD(MID(A2,4,1),2)=1,CEILING(A2,0.001),FLOOR(A2,0.001))),0,IF(MOD(MID(A2,4,1),2)=1,CEILING(A2,0.001),FLOO R(A2,0.001)))

i have 2 columns of data.
Column A is state
Column B is money owed to that state
So lets say
A1 is florida and B1 is 29,000
I am trying for column C to tell me what values (and if possible the cooresponding state) are the 2 closest values above it and the 2 closest values below it in B1:B50. It can appear as a string of text like 27,000 CA 28944 (OR) 31000 (FL) 31200 (GA)

I have 2 different formulas that I need changed in a similar way.
The first formula is for cell AV11:
=SUM(BI11,BP11,BW11,CD11,CK11,CR11,CY11,DF11,DM11,DT11,EA11)+10
Every cell starts off blank.
What I need is for cell AV11 to always start off blank until data is entered into one of the other cells. The problem is that since the sum always needs to be +10 only when data is entered in the other cells, I don't know how to keep 10 from showing in cell AV11 when no data is typed in the other cells.
The other formula is for cell CO39:
=(CU8)+3
I pretty much need the same thing. If no data is entered in cell CU8, then I do not want cell CO39 to show the 3.

I have an Excel VBA form to enter data into a worksheet. Last column of my worksheet CC contains a formula which calculates some input fields. It is a very long though simple formula.
Is it possible that while I am entering the data in the form, a field in the VBA form itself keeps showing me running result of the inputs made based on the formula in the worksheet column CC? I don't know how to write that long formula in VBA so want to find out if there is a way around it.
If not possible, how about while the data has been entered in the form, there is a button CHECK RESULT. Clicking this button temporarily enters the form data to spreadsheet, populating CC cell and that result shows up as message box while the VBA data form is still open. This result message box could have two buttons, CONFIRM ENTRY or CANCEL. If cancel is clicked then the data entered in the spreadsheet is deleted. If confirm is clicked, then entered data stays.

I have a excel file that tracks completion rates and has lots of formulas but there is one that I cannot figure out.
I want a formula that will display "not completed in time" (for example) if completion isn't 100% by the planned completion date. The problem I have is that I want to have a record of this and if the completion rate becomes 100% after the planned completion date it will no longer show "not completed in time". Is there a way to setup a formula that will show data in a cell if the formula has EVER met certain criteria.
