When I type numbers in the cells from D4 to D14, E4 to E14 and so on, the particular cell should turn into "Green". All the the cells will remain "yellow" and blank until numbers are entered based on the daily cleaning of machines. When particular machine no is entered in to a cell cell, that cell should turn green(this shows that "service is done for that machine")

I need a formula that can automatically populate yearly quarters in separate columns based on a number of years. So if I put in 5 years - excel would populate 20 columns with Quarter 1 - Quarter 2 and so on. If I then change it to 3 years it would only populate 12 columns.

I'm using Excel 2007 and need some color help. I'm making a spreadsheet based on goals. Sheet 1 is the main sheet where every employee's progress is seen at once. Sheet 2, 3, 4 are my employee's individual pages where they log their progress. They simply fill a cell red if they've failed a goal, yellow if it's in progress, and green if they were successful.
If Jim fills cell E4 green on his individual sheet (Sheet 2), how can I make cell E4 on Sheet 1 turn green as well?

Now although I have set the 'Text Wrap' option the rows will not auto expand unti to accodate all the text unless I do a ALT-ENTER combo. The problem is anyone using this spreadsheet to complete the form may not know how to use this feature.
Is there anyway Excel can expand automatically or do I need some sort of Macro based in the Worksheet that will automatically adjust the row if the text is too long to fit?

My coworker wants the cell to be highlighted red if the shift is a night shift (Begins after 4), and I used conditional formatting to set up both columns independently to evaluate if the value of their content is after 4 PM. However, this means if a shift starts at noon, but ends after 4, only the time out cell will be highlighted red, not a huge issue but it isn't aesthetically pleasing.

Then user is to go to cell G2 and input some text as a description, and I want the red fill to disappear once they have input something in there.
I thought I had it licked using IF statements for the "Margin Movement" and the "MV" cells, but I can't get the conditional formatting to work - I assume this is because the cells aren't technically "blank", as they have IF statements in them.
When I enter a number into a cell, and then drag down in the column to auto fill the cells below, the number increases. I want to be able to drag without the number increasing in increment.
