Changing Size Of Excel Sheet

Is it possible to make a worksheet smaller. What I want to do is to be able to tab from, a1 to b1 to c1 to d1 etc up to g1 and then if I tab again it goes to a2. Is this possible? Is there any way of making it skip the a coloumn when tabbing even if it has data in it?

I am faced with the task of reducing the size of a group of userforms because of screen size limitations.Some of the forms are quite complex and I am wondering if it is possible to select the form and all its contents and reduce it proportionately. It is possible to do this with the form frame but I have not found a way to include the controls.

I have a created a filter in my workbook. Text for the entire spreadsheet is set to Arial | 12 pt. Font. However, when I select any one drop down list the text therein is shown in a font size that is too small. How can I change the font size to make it more readable?

im using combobox from the forms toolbar. and i have tryed and searched lots of forms and sites but no results, so what im trying to do is change the font size to 12 in my combobox using VBA.
-im using xl2000
-i dont wanto switch to the combox in the active x becouse i have more than 70 comboboxs in this spread sheet. and it will also be very complicated to change the comboboxes due to all the link cell's and there values.

I have created a dynamic chart in excel where either the number of Series or the number of Data Points will change dependent on user inputs in the model. I've done this using the Offset Function in a Defined Name in Excel and dropped this Defined Name into vba code using ActiveChart.SetSourceData.
Anyway, all works fine, pulling the correct data, etc. What doesn't work is the final appearence of the chart. The chart has a Legend placed at the bottom of the chart, as standard, unless there is only one Series, when I remove the legend altogether. Whilst the legend works fine, the Plot Area of the chart doesn't update automatically to accomodate the changing size / existence of the Legend. Does anybody know how to do this? I tried using hieght, etc properties, but I don't know how to make them variable

I've been successful at changing the font size for the Main title and legend using these commands:

ActiveChart.Legend.Font.Size = 8
But the horizontal axis has me stumped. I recorded part of this but can't get it to work:

How can I change the typeface to Times New Roman for all three and change the font size for the Axis titles? hundreds of charts to change and not enough patience to to it manually.

Is there anyway to put a background on a worksheet, without the file size of the workbook becoming monstrously huge? I have a small jpg file of our company logo, and I think that it would be a nice touch for it to be the background to our spreadsheet. But when I use this 50k file as the background, the workbook suddenly grows to a size of 7MB.

We are using an excel file, which doesn't contain more then 1MB of data and have few "count and sum" formulae. but size of file keeps fluctuating from 1MB to 500MB. some time the size of file would be 1MB and once you will refresh the window file size will go to 480MB or some random number.
because of this excel file is quite slow and very difficult to work.

I am working on excel 2007. I have 2 spreadsheets opened and for some reason the maximum number of rows in one spreadsheet is = 1048576 and the maximum number of rows in the other spreadsheet is = 65536
I do not know why.
One of the spreadsheets reads compatibility mode. I have no idea what that is.

I have excel 2007 and I came across the following difficulty:
If I create a graph (or a chart) the default size is "Letter". However, I can switch this "Letter" to "A4" which I need and then create a template. But I always have to manually choose this template for new charts. However switching this any time I create a new chart is a rather bad way to cope with. Even clicking on set as default obviously does not cause to have A4 size for new chart, it still has got size of Letter when adding a new chart.
I assume the solution could be in XLStart templates, but it probably doesnt work for charts that you add. Or at least I didnt find any clue on the internet for this problem.

I have got many files lets say 30 files ,in each file there are 3 columns of data but the no: of rows varies for each file .for eg 1 file has got 6 rows and 3 columns then next file has 3 rows and 3 columns etc .i was not able to append it since its size varies.i need 2 write all these data in an excel sheet also . I tried to use prtScrn button on the keyboard to capture the screen (excel UI) and then pasted it to excel then saved it. I tried to do the same thing on my friends machine and what surprises me is that the file size of two excel is different.
We use the same OS, excel version and the same machine specs.My saved excel file is around 7.91 mb in size while his is just around 235kb. Why is this like this?
Both pasted image have bmp as a format (default for excel when a you use print screen and directly paste it on excel.).

I have been working on a workbook that uses as a source information on Sheet 1.
Sheet 1
Each item reports a number of different details from column A to column BY.
Each row is for a different item.
25 rows of information.
Sheet 2
This is my master formula sheet, the one I've been using to create the page that reports and formulates information on a single item. The source for this sheet is taken from the cells in Sheet1!Row2.
Now that I have the sheet pretty much finished, I want to paste the same report on each succeeding page for a total of 25 sheets. I can copy Sheet2 and paste into each successive sheet, but then I need to change every single formula so that where it said AT2 it changes to AT3, where it was H2, H3, etc., from A to BY.
Problem: Can I use something that will automatically take the information for succeeding sheets and take as its source the succeeding row from the source page?
I don't know that I'm describing that sufficiently, so:
Sheet 3 would take as its source Sheet1, row 3.
Sheet 4 would take as its source Sheet1, row 4.
Sheet 5 would take as its source Sheet1, row 5.
Sheet 6 would take as its source Sheet1, row 6.
Etc., etc.
In the past I used the find/replace function, but this sheet seems way too complicated for that. As an example, one cell alone on my master sheet is

so I would need to change S2 to S3 everywhere it appears, but there are probably more than a hundred places on the sheet that I'd have to manually change 2s to 3s, etc., for 25 sheets, which is why I'm wondering if there isn't a better way than going cell by cell, sheet by sheet.

I am trying to create multiple pivot tables from the same pivotcache using VBA. The data range is approximately 270,000 records with 100 columns. When I run the macro, I get "Run-time error '-2147352567 (80020009)' Method 'Add' of object 'PivotCaches' failed". Is there a size limit on the data? If there is less than 65,000 records, it works great; if I use a wizard, it works with no problems with the full dataset. If I bring the data in as an Access table, it can work with some tweaking of the code, but the size of the file is huge because each pivot is taking its own snapshot of the data. I also can only create 3 tables before it runs out of memory, so I have to stop, save the file, and open it back up to create 3 more pivots.

I am trying to create a chart that would show all of the Amount values for each Size value that is in the example data below. The Size column has fixed values. In my example the values are: .5, 1, 2, 5, 8, 13 and 21. The Amount column data is variable. Any of the static Size values can be associated with many Amount values. I was attempting to have the static Size values on the X (horizontal) axis and the Amount values on the Y (vertical) axis. I would like to have all of the Amount values for each Size value be shown directly above the corresponding size value, in one vertical line. See example below.
I an creating this type of chart in Excel 2010.
Note, I am still new to this forum and don't know how to post pictures or Excel data into my posts. I am also using dots (periods) to provide separation in my examples.

I would like to know if it is possible with VBA in Excel 2007 to select objects based on size (or above a certain size).
I would like to select all the picture objects but not the small checkboxes on my worksheet.
I know that I can select the items one by one with home -> find/select -> select object but how I could make this "find/select" conditional.

I have text of size 14 and 18 mixed in cells in a column. Cells are font size 18 or mixed with both 14 and 18 size text. I need to sort out the text with one column of size 14 and another of 18 only. I am thinking of copying and pasting the column twice and run a macro in first column to remove the text of size 14, and another macro to delete text of size 18 in second column. I need the leftover text to be in same rows.
I tried everywhere and couldn't find a macro for mixed text cells. I am using Microsoft Excel 2010.

I am creating a heat map using two variables from a questionnaire: firstly the number of people impacted by a question; and secondly, the level of the impact. Respondents are asked to give these values in two adjacent cells. These are then multiplied to give a weight eg 1000 people x level 3 impact = 3000. I have used Conditional Formatting to colour the cell according to the impact level (0 = none - white (default), 1 = moderate - tan, 2 = significant - orange, 3 = high - red). What I want to do is then change the font size to give an indication of the number of people impacted, eg 1 - 1000 font 8, 1001 - 3000 font 12, 3001 - 8000 font 16, 8000 - 2000 font 24 etc. The size of font and colour will then represent the number of respondents and their impact.
I can't use Conditional Formatting as the value of 3000 could be derived from 1000 people at level 3 (red), or 3000 people at level 1 (tan). Is there another way of setting the font size depending on the cell value, eg by VBA?
