Choose Selective Data From A Range Driven From Dropdown List?

I have a spreadsheet listing various pieces of computer hardware, software and mobile accessories, etc with costs attached.
I have created a dropdown list of staff profiles eg a sales representative, finance assistant, IT administrator.
What I want to do is get Excel to pull the data through from the data sheet, to a printable summary output form (something you could also cut and paste from). For example, a sale rep would need to be set up with a laptop, laptop case, mobile phone, etc, so when you select Sales rep from droplist, I want that action to pull all the associated data through to the summary form. Similarly, a Finance assistant would require different kit , perhaps a desktop PC , monitor , etc.
Next to my data I have created columns with "Y" for yes in cells containing kit that match the staff role requirements, but I am not sure of the best way to pull this together.

I am after some VBA code that chooses each value from a drop down list (in cell A1) then copies a separate sheet 1 (sheet 1) into another workbook (can have both workbooks open at the same time or the first step will have to create a workbook) with the name of the added sheet renamed to the value chosen from the list. When the second value is chosen then sheet 1 should be copied into the newly created workbook as well.
Sheet 1 has lookups that are updated when the new value in the drop down list is chosen
There are around 85 values in the drop down list so I'm expecting a workbook with 85 tabs (copy pasted values and formats)

I would like to be able to choose a Size from a drop down list.
After choosing the size, the Parts and Price records (rows of data) will populate below a few cells.
I will manually insert the Quantity amount of items I need,
This will calculate the total from the cells (price & Qty).

Make a Data Validation dropdown list that also enters a range for cells, for example:

I can make a dropdown list for:
Kitchen
Lounge
Bedroom
Bathroom
But if I select "Kitchen" I would like it to enter the rest of the cells in that row:
Kitchen ¦ High ¦ Upto 100 ¦ Easy ¦ 2 ¦ Daily ¦ >6 hrs ¦ Medium ¦ >1 week
The total number of rows I use is 10, and the number of items in the dropdown list will be 30.
The data in the cells 2 to 10 does not change from that first set to its data menu name.

when you choose Data Validation for a specific cell, you can choose list. Once you have chosen list for "Allow", you can select the source cells for what will be in the drop-down menu. I want to be able to use VBA (or just use Excel) to modify those source cells.
For example:
There will be 3 lists with drop-down menus using Data Validation.
List 1:
Choose first option in list -> List 2 uses source A
Choose second option in list -> List 2 uses Source B
etc...
List 2:
Choose first option in list -> List 3 uses source C
Choose second option in list -> List 3 uses source D

I've got a sheet which is filled with data from an SQL query, the data looks similar to this

On a seperate sheet I want to select the make in cell 1, then cell 2 populates with all the models for that make, select a model then cell 3 gives a list of derivatives to choose from. I'm not sure what this is called, I would call it a drop down list.

I want to create a drop-down menu to choose dates and if I choose certain date the data of numbers (23 sets of number (4 digits)) will comes out in the next column beside the drop down menu of dates, then if the 23 numbers already comes out it will highlight how many numbers are the same in the previous date to the current date. So, each time I choose different date the data for that specific date (23 numbers) will comes out.. I try to do it but I get error when I change to different date the data for that specific date doesn't comes out.

I have used the search function but can't seem to find a suitable solution.
I'm trying to figure the best way to extract 12 continuous months worth of data from a table and plot on a graph, each month with a separate plot on the graph (i.e. not the summed total but rather, a line graph with 12 points). The data is based on two, user-generated inputs, that are produced from a dropdown box.
I can create the Data Validation rules, use a Match formula to produce the reference for an Index formula and i have created a bunch of Named Ranges to work with and can easily generate the FIRST value to plot.
E.g. INDEX(DATA,ROW,COLUMN). After the first value, I'm stuck on how to generate the rest.

I'm creating a spreadsheet to keep track of my costs of production in an online game. Within the game there are a range of spawned resources that appear for only a short time before being unobtainable these resources have specific types that is shared between multiple spawns of the resource but each resource spawn has a unique name.
My first worksheet lists all the resources and their various qualities and the later worksheets are meant to allow me to choose from a list resources matching the requirements of the item I'm looking to craft. The example i have shown in the second picture requires Tatooinian Fiberplast and Lokian Wild Wheat to craft so in the Chosen Resource column I would like to have a drop down list allowing me to select the named resource type i would like to use - for Tatooinian Fiberplast the only thing on the list should be Omnitwixi and for the Wild Wheat it should show Fizi and Krad

I have a list of 800 fund names that can be any one of 6 types of funds. It is easy to filter the names using the filter function, but I cannot get it to be a filtered list for my dropdown box. The dropdown box should only list those fund names of funds that is of a certain kind. I know I am missing something small.
If the accompanying data is used as an example, I would like a dropdown box with the names of all the I funds.

i have a VLOOKUP formula
=VLOOKUP(W3,CAT_A,3,1)
where CAT_A is a dynamic named range on the CAT sheet, I also have CAT_B thru CAT_F
I would like to make the VLOOKUP formula neater by using INDIRECT and the initial letter from column I as follows
=VLOOKUP(W3,INDIRECT("CAT_" & I3),3,1)
However I keep getting #REF, where have I slipped up

I'm new to excel and was trying to make a workbook that will have a drop down list populate based on a user input in two separate cells. Basically, i have columns: name, pages, and books. I would like to have the drop down list match data by first finding the amount of books read, then finding the amount of pages read. Then any name that meets the criteria will be available in the drop down list. How can I do this?

I have the following table with weeks to display for the holidays and my column H has a drop down list of the first column in the table below with the Named Range, "SNCODE.Season_Codes".
The other two Named Ranges are, "SNCODE.Season_Codes.Start" and "SNCODE.Season_Codes.End"
I need my column K to display a list of weeks from the first week to the last week. For example, the cell in column K for Valentine's Day should have 1, 2, 3, 4.

The sheet shown, Complaints, lists on each row information on a single complaint. This information extends from Col A to Col Y (though not that way here, the data actually begins in row 3). I want to highlight a Customer cell, say H227 for Customer A, then activate a macro that (1) recognizes the active customer (here A), searches the list, identifies each row where A is the customer and then writes each row into sheet "Event" beginning in row 4. I should then see the same A to Y cells of information, beginning in row 4, filled in sheet Event for the six customer A complaints. Note, the actual data in sheet Complaints involves 300 rows of data, and over 100 customers can be on the list, some up to 15 times. I know that I could do this by filtering the data, copying and pasting, but a simple macro would be quicker for the group of individuals involved. Note, I then use this information to populate a chart.

Basically on a summary page, on sheet 1 say I have a formula which picks up the unit cost (I have this as an array across 5 years)
What I then want to do is multiply this by a volume driver. I have a list of these drivers on a seperate page, so for convenience lets say DRIVER_01,DRIVER_02 etc. These are also 5 years arrays.
So what I want to do it be able to select which driver I want to use for volume on the summary, from a drop down box I have set up, and then the formula pick up that named range, and not just recognise it as a text cell.
I need the ability to change the driver in the future, hence the drop down box. I can also get the unit array part to work fine, I'm just struggling to get this driver array to work..............

I have a list on one worksheet and I use a dropdown list from Data Validation to select the name required.
My list is so long that I would like to be able to type a letter or two to access to the name quicker instead of scrolling down.
I copied a formula that worked for someone else that put this formula in the data validation

I am currently stuck with a drop down list problem. I am trying to make a benchmarking solution for a group of 20 stores. All stores sell products uniformly and their sales are displayed in percentages of the cumulative total. Currently there is a benchmarking page where all stores sales per product is displayed, however I would like the ability to select specific stores data from a drop down list. I have pictures displaying the basic concept of what I want to achieve.

On the left a list of products and the quantities sold in percentages per store for benchmarking purposes.
What I would like to achieve relates to the drop down list on sheet 2.

Here store 1 can see its sales in percentages, and has a drop down list to compare to different stores. If store 3 is selected I would like the data to be pulled into that column from the benchmarking sheet and the same goes for the other stores of course.

I have a query with data validation.....
Can I have a cell rage.. say A2:E20...and every cell in it has a drop down data validation list, from data inputted into L2:L27 (For examples lets say L2 is A, L3 is B, L4 is C, L5 is D and so on).
if somewhere in the range A2:E20, say B6 I was to select D from the drop down list, I want the remainder of the cells in range A2:E20, to have the drop down list without the value D in it, and so on, so the more cells in the range I fill from the list, the list for empty cells gets smaller and smaller until there are none left.

I want to use excel to create quotations for customers. (currently doing it in word)
Tab 1 is the quote, has 4 columns, part number, description, cost, yearly maintenance
Tab 2 has all the things we sell, part number, description, cost, yearly maintenance. 150 lines.
So, Tab 1, description column is a drop down box from Tab 2. Working fine.
Question. When an item is selected from the drop down, how do I get it to then bring from tab 2 the part number, cost and yearly maintenance.

I have a very detailed spreadsheet with drop down lists. I would like to block other cells if previous cells have certain selections. I have 7 columns of data that get inputted throughout the month. These cells have drop down selections that I have created. Is there any way to create a drop down menu AND another data validation? So If a selection is made, then the next cells will be blocked, using data validation "custom"?

It is basically a simple sheet that lists the price (Column C) of different items (Column B) based on their Category (Column A).
I am trying to have an automated pricing sheet (on different sheet) utilizing data validation and drop down lists.
For example each row should have this, the drop down list in the first columns should list all the Categories available (This part works fine for me and i can take care of the duplicates).
Once that has been selected, i have now the option of selecting using drop down list also (in second column) the items corresponding to the Category selected in first column (Only the items that are part of that specific category should be listed in the drop down list).
Once the item has been selected, the price of that respective item should be listed automatically in the 3rd column.
