Combine SUMPRODUCT, SUMIF, COUNTIF Within Date Range

The attached spreadsheet has a "master" workesheet in which I enter customer info, salesperson info, and date. The totals spreadsheet automatically calculates number of sales, contact value.

I need to modify the following formulas to only calculate the data within a date range shown in 2 cells.

=COUNTIF(Master!A1:A176,PayPeriod!A4)
=SUMPRODUCT(--(Master!A1:A176=Totals!A4),(Master!K1:K176))
=E4SUMPRODUCT(--(Master!A1:A176=Totals!A4),(Master!K1:K176))

SUMPRODUCT / SUMIF With Named Range
Why won't this SUMPRODUCT work?

SUMPRODUCT(Sheet2!D1:D2000=OPEN,Sheet2!F1:F2000)

I have a range (D1:D2000) that contains a 'Status' value.

OPEN is a named range that refers to eight possible Status values: Assigned, New, Hold, Re-test, In Progress, Failed, Ready for Push, Coded

The formula should sum the values in F1:F2000 for any row containing one of the eight statuses in D1:D2000.

Countif Or Sumproduct Function (count In A Range)
I am trying to do a basic count in a range, however am a little brain fried and its not working. On attachment, column D is to list all times out of column A and B listing only unique entries (have tried to use Macro with advanced filter however not liking it being an extract). Column E is to be a count of how many times the break time in Column D appears.

Sumproduct? Sumif? (search A Range Any Cell Containing Words Or Phrase "20%" )
I am very comfortable with SUMIF, but need to search a range any any cell containing words or phrase "20%" then need to sum those corresponding cells only.

I.e., something like: SUMIF(A1:A10,..."20%",C1:C10) .... only sum all C cells where an A cell contains any combination of words with "20%" in them.

COUNTIF Between Date Range
I am trying to take a large spreadsheet with 2000+ rows of data each with its on unique date associated with each row (its a dump of invoices that need to get paid). I need to count how many invoices are each of the seperate 52 weeks of the last year using I believe a Countif function. My problem is I cannot seem to get the criteria written correctly. For example I want to count out of the 2000+ rows of data, how many invoice dates fall between say, Jan 1 and Jan 7. I would think it would be as easy as using the Countif function and then writing the criteria as a forumula to count invoices that have a date that is greater than or equal to Jan 1 BUT less than or equal to Jan 7. It is that precise formula that is giving me much frustration.

I have a similar Sumif forumula problem as I need to total the $ of the invoices but I think if I get the criteria to work for Countif it will work for Sumif.

Date Range In SUMPRODUCT
I am trying to sum figures within a specific date range in the following formulae.

Currently I get an error and I am certain it is in this part;

(AND(Bookings!A$7:A$576>=$C$12,Bookings!A$7:A$576<$C$12+7))

This is trying to look for dates that are greater than or equal to the one in $C$12 AND less than 7 days later.

Countif (?) Within A 2 Week Date Range Of Today
I have a workbook which contains 1 spreadsheet that contains data entry for approximately 20 employees. The workbook then contains a separate sheet for each employee to display the detailed information

Column A stores the dates from Jan1 to Dec 31
Row 1 contains the employees names.
The data entered consists of approximatle 4 different 1-letter codes as to what transaction occurred that particular day.

What I would like to do now is be able to count the number of cells that contain a code for 2 different time periods. I would like for it to count 2 weeks ago and separately count 2 weeks in the future.

In trying to get this last calculation, I've added a column for WEEKNUM next to the date (column B) and used somethign along the lines of
=CountIF(C2:c366,Weeknum(Now()-2)) and also tried +2. Neither have worked.

Sumproduct Vs Countif
I have a worksheet where I am trying to count the number of occurences of several text strings.

For example:

I'm trying to count how many times "paid in full" and "fully paid" occur in column A.

I have two formulas, and both seem to work, but since I don't really understand either of them, I'm wondering which I should use and how I would adapt it to include additional text strings. (Like adding "paid" to the list)

Here are my formuals (I didn't write either of them, another co-worker did)

=(COUNTIF(A:A,"paid in full"))+(COUNTIF(A:A,"fully paid"))

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A50={"paid in full","fully paid"}))

Also, if there is another and easier way to do what I'm trying to do, I'd love to know.

SUMIF/COUNTIF = Average
I have a report that has thirteen tabs. Tab one is Jan; two, Feb; three, Mar, etc. The last tab is where I'm consolidating all the data into a report.

In Row 2 of Jan-Dec are the days of the week.
In Row 30 I have the data.

I am figuring the average of each day of the week for each month as well as a total average year-to-date.

Here is my formula for Jan and Feb:
=SUMIF(JAN!$2:$2,"MON",JAN!$30:$30)/COUNTIF(JAN!$2:$2,"MON")
=SUMIF(FEB!$2:$2,"MON",FEB!$30:$30)/COUNTIF(FEB!$2:$2,"MON")

Works great after the month is over - but now I'm in March and the formula is adding all data form row 30 that falls under MON and dividing my all MONs even if it does not have data.

How do I nest in the COUNTIF statement to only count MON IF there is data in row 30.

A Sumif Of Sumproduct Question
I'm trying to do here is if a layaway has been paid off then there will be a tax amount in column C. IF there is tax in column C and column A has the word layaway (or the word way) in it then I need to find out how much the total of the layaway $ amount was. Meaning, to figure out how much the tax is for.

For example:
If the text in Column A contains the word way AND column C contains a $ amount then return the amount that the tax would be for. Of course this would be an accumulated amount for all of column C. So, if Layaway is in column A and $3.13 amount is in column C then it will return $50.00 as the original selling price. Tax here is .0625 %.

Multiple Criteria Countif Or Sumproduct
I haven't been this deep into excel before. The deeper I look, the more potential I recognize, the more amazed I get. That being said, I have come to a tough count issue. Let me attempt to explain as precisely as possible.

My current worksheet is large but I am only particularly concerned with two columns of information (Regions) and (Days). The logic I am attempting is something along the lines of Count If Region = East, or West, and Days is greater than 0, less than 60.

I am open to any and all suggestions on how to tackle this situation. I have been able to achieve similar counts by using pivot tables but the dynamic nature of these two columns presents some difficulties that my “new user” mind has been unable to work through.

THis works with or without the 2nd condtion, but I thouht the "greater than 0" bit would eliminate the inclusion of 0's; however, the same #DIV/0 error occurs with or w/out that ">0" condtion as the 1st OR 2nd argument.

I speculated that b/c the final argument was dividing each paid of cells in either range instead of a typical sum, this caused the divisor error.
