I want to pick a range of dates and find the number of days without sales between those dates. So, a formula that will look to a start date in A1 and an end date in B2, and then count the number of days that did not have sales between. Index/Match/Countif/Dateif I can't seem to make anything work.
I need to do a total of the dates entered in the RAW DATA sheet that fall in between today's date and 7 days ago. I am comparing it to B3 in sheet 2. Have tried a COUNTIF but cannot get it to work.
I got this problem I can’t solve, maybe it is easy to solve, but I am fairly new to writing functions in excel.
I got a lot of different dates in single column, what I need is to pull the dates if they fall in to the range, from today till 30 days from now. I understand it calls for array formula.
I have a range of data but the important pieces are
Column B - list of employee IDs. Column C - Date
I have sorted the data by column B with secondary sort for column C oldest to newest date.
I want to know the number of instances where an employee has 3 consecutive days in column C. Only count 3 consecutive. If the consecutive days go over 3 (such as 4 or 5 days) I do no want to count these.
I am assessing the impact of product price increases on volume (qty) and sales (£/$).
The prices are changed sporadically and at no set intervals. For example pries were changed on the 15th Jan and 13th Feb this year.
We have set reporting dates (calender months) so i am hoping to be able to divide the report which shows sales & qty's during the 15th Jan - 13th Feb segment and apportion them to the correct months.
I have the start & end dates of the calender months in cells A4:B18 and each time a new report is run (ie 15th Jan or 13th Feb, these dates go across the top i.e. cell C3 = 15th jan & D3 = 13th Feb.
I would like to return a % in cell C4 which relates to the amount of total days in the segment that relate to Jan (ie. 29 days in the segment, 16 relate to Jan so 55.2%).
Cell C5 would then return a % which relates to the amount of total days in the segment that relate to Feb (29 days in the segment, 13 relate to Feb so 44.8%).
Cells D4&D5 would return the next reporting segment and how many days in Jan/Feb respectively (the answer will be 0 but a constant formula acrosss all would be perfect. tried to give as much info as poss.
Within a user entered range of two dates, I would like to identify the individual calendar date(s) and count the number of Mondays which fall within the specified date range.I will eventually be using the same "Monday" code to find the same data for every day of the week within the dates ranges, but I figured I'd start with Mondays and build from there.
For Example: Date range 1/1/2013 - 1/15/2013 (date ranges could potentially encompass a full business quarter) Within the range, list each of the dates as dates. (used for comparative counting purposes elsewhere in the document)Count the number of Mons, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fris, and Sats within the date range.Based on the example date ranges above; Mons = 2, Tues through Sats = 3 each.
I have a large spreadsheet which holds lots of data with date ranges that i need to performs different actions to. Any way to identify the number of days, per calender month, that falls in a date range.
sample data...
Start Date End Date Old Value New Value
08/03/2010 18/06/2010 16758.2 16758.1

I need to break down the total number of days per month
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
24 30 31 18
[Code] ......
As you can see this also laps into a new year, which poses my next problem, ill probably just add more columns on to the end of the table for that though...
I will later apply different calculations to these cells but in short need to get a calculation for the number of days per month first.
(in short spreading the new value out accross the year then multiplying it by the days... i also need to apply a further daily volume cal to it).
Today I am having a very annoying problem that really has me stumped – I need to work out the lag between a Due Date and Delivered Date
But as people sometimes manage to deliver on the Due Date it needs to show a zero (as in they got it in on time) but using the formula below the result is a 1 and I want a zero
Can anyone help me please? I have tried putting assorted -1s in to the formula and it looks like it might work until I copy down and find that if a person delivered one day early the result shows -3 for example!
I've got a 2007 Excel spreadsheet that will count dates within a range using the COUNTIFS function. I am having to send this spreadsheet to users that only have Excel 2003. I need to know how to convert this so it works in 2003.
Since I'm doing this for a fiscal year I have to use a date range. Here are my two formulas I'm trying to convert:
=COUNTIFS(D9:D25,">3/1/08",D9:D25,"<6/30/08") and =COUNTIFS(D9:D25,">7/1/08",D9:D25,"<6/30/09")
I want to find the number of times the 23rd happens between a range of dates.
Let's say I invoice a customer on 5/23/12 (Column C) and I've sent an invoice every month on the 23rd. I want to count how many invoices I've sent during the past few months. I need a formula which tells me how many times the 23rd of the month happens between 5/1/12 (in column A) and 12/15/12 (in column B).
I thought it might be =COUNTIFS(A1:B1,DAY(C1)) but that formula is for counting cells in a range.
I found formulas for counting the specific day of the week (like Tuesday) and for counting the number of cells containing a number, but not this.
I wish to calculate the days between the starting date (column A) and ending date (column B). For the first 7 days are excluding all the holiday and weekend and the rest of it until the ending date are counted.
I am trying to count the number of dates in a column that are within the last 180 days. I tried using COUNTIF and it did not work. Formula which I thought should work: =COUNTIF(A3:A32,>(A40)). My workaround is shown in Column B, but this method adds one column for each participant.
Need a formula (E1) to determine the number of days that have passed between two given dates (C1 & D1) ONLY when the Status of a given report (B1) is "Late"
B1 = Status (Pending; On Hold; Late; Completed) (i.e "LATE") C1 = Status Date (i.e. 28 Mar 14) D1 = Deadline (date) (i.e. 25 Mar 14) E1 = Total Days Late (= ?)
I need to figure out how to tell Excel to count the number of invoices on a worksheet older than 30 days and display that number in my Summary worksheet. Here's a quick example:
Worksheet '1234' has 10 invoices, 6 of which are more than 30 days old (invoice dates are in column B). Worksheet 'Summary' needs to display the total number of invoices and the number older than 30 days.
I work only on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'd like to calculate the number of my working days between two dates.
NETWORKDAYS seems like the right place to start, but I can't think of how to tell it to ignore Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays as well as the weekend days.
I have been using a formula to count the number of days between 2 dates and if the date was older than 12 months it would work fine.
The data that i was using has been changed and they have decided to change the format of the dates and dropped the year reference no all i have to work with is dates like 27-07 this represents 27th July i can format this date to work fine unless the date falls before 1 jan this year all i get is lots of numbers and it stuffs up the whole calculation.
I am trying to compile a count of dates using a numerical reference which adds x consecutive dates onto the initial start date based on the number in a cell. The dates added cannot fall on a weekend.
The start date for each calculation begins in D4 with the corresponding number of days to add onto this date in K4. In the example below 8/11/2007 -- 2 means that the 8th and 9th of Nov get one added to their count. As the next row also has 9th Nov as a start date one more is added to 9th Nov. As the 10th and 11th were a weekend they are skipped and the count starts again from the next Monday. I have enclosed a simplified worksheet with some sample data.
I wanted to determine the number of days between two dates. Specifically, if the initial date is in one month, and the second is in a different month and an output would result a number of days in each month until the final date. BUT I have a large amount of data to do this for in a list view, way to put a formula in excel and just drag down the entire list to get the required information. see below for an example.
The result I'm looking for is the separate the months and only show the relevant months between the two dates in one cell or the adjacent. Something similar to the table outlined below.
In column B is a list of dates, which are broken out by fiscal year (FY=7/1/ to 6/30). Column C is a list of dollar amounts. Cell F3 is the query ‘start date’ Cell F4 is today's date, which will be the formula: =today()
Using a date range of F3:F4, I'm trying to get each cell bordered in red to query the dates in column B for each FY; then display the matching sum from column C.
For illustrative purposes I went and manually determined what the values should be displaying as of 7/22. Here are a couple of examples of how I am trying to get the formula to work.
Example 1 FY’08: Start date- 7/1 End date- 7/22 Searching cells B1:B94, cells B1:B13 fall within the start and end date parameters listed above. Sum of cells C1:C13 is $45,112.00, which should display in cell F6.
Example 2 FY’09: Start date- 7/1 End date- 12/13 Searching cells B95:B222, cells B95:B149 fall within the start and end date parameters listed above. Sum of cells C95:C149 is $150,873.03, which F7 should display in cell F7. How to I type up this formula; its way more challenging that I first thought!
I'm trying to make a by month spreadsheet that has all twelve month ranges starting in for a3. in a3 it would have the start date and in a4 it would have the end date. I'm trying to locate all of the dates between those two dates and pull in the profit ammounts from another sheet, the results would be in row 5. I would also like to pull in the loss amounts and have them in row 6. All corresponding with the date range in rows 3 and 4.
There are dates in column C and I need to count how many days are coming due within 90 days of each date based on the today() function but do not exceed the 90 days.
I have a masive table of dates (the date is created via a if formula) what i need is so wheni enter 2 dates in 2 cells the system checks all the dates between the two specified and then returns the contents of them to a small area on the page.
