Evaluate Data By Date/Time, Apply Code

I have been given a project to develop a spreadsheet using excel that will take data that is for a whole month, and evaluate by DAY to see if the same doctor was listed as attending two patients in surgery at the same time. If the Doctor's name is the same for two patients within the same timewindow for a certain day, a code is applied to EACH RECORD that the doctor was attending in the code field. If there was NO DUPLICATE patient, a different code is applied in the code field.
The tricky thing about this is:
1) Number of records will vary month-to-month
2) There could be 1-xx patient records where the same doctor is listed and there is overlapping time in the SAME DAY OF THE MONTH.
3) The code applied to multiple patients in the code field applies even if the minutes of overlap = 1 minute.
4) Start/End times and length of the patient visits will vary. (Example - Dr. Jones has two patients on the 15th of the month. The start time for patient 1 is 9:00am and ends at 10:15am. The second patient's start time is 9:30am and end time of 11:00am. Under this situation, the multiple patient code would apply)
Does anyone have any experience evaluating by date, then within a time-window to check for record overlap (doctor name in this case)? There could be 200-1500 records per month, and 100/day to evaluate for overlapping.

I have an excel spreadsheet that performs a particular calculations using a large set of data. However, I have over 1000 sets of data that need to be feed into this sheet and obtain the output calculation. Obviously I don't want to have to copy and paste in each new set of data to obtain my result as this would take a very long time. I am brand new to VBA, so was wondering if there is a way to write code in VBA that will automatically perform these calculations for one data set, save the output into a cell, and then move to the next data set and so on?

I have loaded a .csv file in which the first column contains date/times, e.g. 01/12/2012 00:00. How do I now tell Excel (2010) that this is in fact a date/time format? If I select one or more of the cells, click on the Number dialog box launcher and try to pick a suitable format tghe cells resolutely refuse to budge from being text (i.e. left-justified, still allows me to edit the 'seconds' component to a number > 60). Also which data type should I be using? The only one that appears to have a full date/time format listed is Custom (not Date or Time).

I have a worksheet (with if statements) that I throw numbers from a report into and it uses those if statements to calculate the number of items and money earned. The problem is that sometimes employees use different key words for their items so the formulas dont pick them up and this skews their results for the month. Also it's hard to see where someone messed so I'm trying to write a code that reads each row for a given selection and calculates the sum and if that sum is 0 then we can look for where the employee made an error. This is what I have:

The problem with the code is that I want it to read every line and if there's no errors then have it say "congrats no errors" after ALL rows have been checked because right now it pulls a msgbox per row and I don't want to go through hundreds of no error msgboxes. However, if even just one line has an error then have a msgbox come up.
Also there's something weird where this code wont pick up an error for a row if i highlight two rows (one row without an error and one with) but if i highlight just rows of zeros then it'll pick it up.

The value that is returned is off by 2 rows everytime. When I evaluate the formula, it shows the correct row just before the indexing function does it's thing.
I have a cell phone bill for 20 or so phones and am trying to isolate one number at a time and evaluate usage. The first sheet is my data, the second is sheet ("Breakdown") is where I enter the number in A2 that I want to look at. When I do, it misses the first 2 rows and picks up 2 extra from the following phone number.

I have a userform that completes various functions and updates cells when a single button is clicked. Can I add code to the the end to enable a cell to be updated with the time and date, say cell A1 for example? Also is it possible to have the (Windows) username in another cell (all users will be unique) so it will save Jo Bloggs for example? I know this is possible as a Worksheet function:

I have cells in a column that record time in date. Unformatted it would appear as 19789.51407 but formatted to show time and date it would as appear as 3/6/54 12:20 PM. I am making graphs with the data and I want the title of my x axis to read "GMT Time (mm/dd/yyyy - mm/dd/yyyy)" or "GMT Time (mm/dd/yyyy)" depending on if the event spans more then one day. Using the following code, it almost accomplishes this.

Where "Drag" is a variable that signifies the total number of cells in the column; ie the first and last dates. It compares the values and saves the results as a string. The problem is that when the string is saved it saves the date in mm/dd/yyyy hh/mm/ss. How can i separate the date from the time so I can have the title of my x axis appear as i need them?

I needed a code that would input the current date and time in the cells in column N whenever changes were made to any cells in the row from columns A to M. For example, if I change a name in cell 6D, then cell 6N would automatically change to the current date and time.
I found a useful code on a forum (maybe here, don't know for certain) and modified it to suit my needs (see below). I am however now getting a debugging error suggesting that the second line that reads "Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()" is causing an error.

I am writing a module which have a different test based on for each of the previous 2 column cells. It calculate the days passed or in simple way calculate the date difference for the 2 columns and puts them in third. But i need to use a inputbox for entering the first date for monday of the month each time i use the worksheet.
When i try using the module for each cell of the column it display the input box for each cell. is there any way so that i just enter the value in input box and it can be used in rest of the module.Without using it again and again.

I want to apply a score to the time cells ( decimals ) Basically i want to apply this set of criteria to a Row >
IF LESS THAN 0.00694 (10mins) then score 3
IF LESS THAN 0.01388 (20mins ) then score 1
IF BETWEEN 0.01388 & 0.9811 (20mins and 23:40:00) then score 0
IF GREATER THAN 0.98611 (23:40:00 ) then score 1
IF GREATER THAN 0.09930 (23:50:00) then score 3

I’m working on a project using Microsoft Excel 2010 and I want to add some features to facilitate saving and retrieving files process.
1.How can I save the daily created workbooks (Assume 15 files a day) in order to contain the current date (and time if possible) linked with certain cell(s) I have at my workbook forming the file name? (XYZ 2-4-2014) and/or (ABC 2-4-2014 23:11) and so on …
2.I’ve been through some other posts and I found VB code which saves the active file into specific path, but it is only useful for single workbook because multiple files are getting overwritten automatically. Is there a code which allows multiple/different files saving & creates daily folders?

I have amended the code but it's for columns. I want this formatting for entire row 4 only and not for columns. Because it's disturbing my program if there is any data using ':' sign then the same formatting is applied which I don't want.

I'd like to use this code on every worksheet within every workbook that I open. Right now I've only inserted the code in "This Worksheet" in a single workbook and that's the only place it works. I tried creating an Add In with the code so that it worked in all workbooks, but it doesn't work.

Step 1. In Col E a list of amounts will be pasted on a daily basis.
Step2. I need a macro that will look at the last code in Col F and apply the next sequence so $36,543.00 will have OPS003, since i might paste more than one amount in Col E i would like the macro to do the same thing also in Col F. I have a formula in G which will tell me what amounts are outstanding and which have cleared.

I recorded a macro in an Excel Workbook which contains 65 worksheets (--this is something received on a quarterly basis for which I have no control). The macro is successful within the workbook created however, a new quarter's data may or maynot have some of the referenced worksheets. 64.9 Waiv - 1 may exists and the others (2, 3, 4, etc) not. The macro fails and prompts for Debug if a worksheet does not exist.

The code below restricts users from inputting anything other than an uppercase "X" in a cell within column N. If the user types a lowercase "x", it would automatically convert it to uppercase. If any other value is entered other than "X", a message box will fire.
The code is specific to column N (column 13). However, I would like to apply this to multiple columns, such as columns 13,14,17,20 .....

I havae the following macro which i recorded in Excel. I want this Macro to run after another macro that groups data and creats tabs. The following macro will then add a column and run an array formula. I think this can be done in a loop but i'm not sure how to do it. This is working but takes a long time and times out by the time it reaches the last tab.

I am attempting to pick up a date with time entry on a worksheet and place it into a TextBox on a UserForm. Format on the sheet is mm/dd/yyyy h:mm AM/PM. The UserForm is placing the value as mm/dd/yyyy 12:00 AM. here is the

"dDate" is the named range where the date is sitting. The format is also set on the TextBox2 exit event. Can anyone see why only the date portion is being transfered with the default 12:00 AM for no time component of the value?

I am trying to do this preferably not in a macro if possible. Basically I have a monthly metrics spreadsheet that pulls it's values from a data entry sheet. I setup the display sheet so that if there's no data for the month the cell is blank in order to avoid errors. So, now what I want is one cell that will update and tell me if the last month's metric was good or bad. So, I am trying to create a cell formula that will be able to find the last row with data. In this case it would be the row corresponding to September's data, then evaluate the value in that cell to see if it's above or below 90% = 0.90 in this case.

I am working on some data cleanup for some video. I have a lot of time code data, ie. mm:ss (minutes; seconds), and I need to convert it to hh:mm:ss:ff (hhi is hours; ff is frames). It's A LOT of data, and I don't want to do it by hand.
Examples:

2:55
1:41
1:20
1:44
I have two quesxtion:
1. Excel wants to interpret my data as time data and will convert my data if I click on a cell, ie. 2:02 is converted to 2:02:00 AM. That might not be so bad, but sometimes it changes a time that is 00:55 to 12:55:00. So, my first question is...how do I make excel read the numbers exactly as is w/o any conversion? I've tried to mark the cells as Text but that doesn't work, and I can't seem to make a Custom format work. Any ideas?
2. Ideally, I'd like to quickly convert these timecodes to hh:mm:ss:ff. Would macro work on this? So, I'd be taking 2:02 and making it 00:02:02:00. I think I need to solve #1 before I tackle #2, but i could be wrong.

I need to add a field to a data set that ranks groups of data based on a date field. Items with the same "Type" & "Vintage" need to be assigned a number based on the date field starting with 1 for newest to x for oldest. I'm looking for a macro or formula that I can use to automatically assign these values. I attached an example. The highlighted green section was completed manually for reference. The real data set is thousands of lines.
