Group By First 9 Digits

I have 2 columns, A and B. The data looks like this:

I want to have column J with values from column A grouped by the first 9 digits and column J with the totals for these groups. It would look something like this:

002000002 250
002000004 300
003000027 100
003000050 70
004000002 90
etc
