How can I get this to read each, (if (and statement) and give the correct answer. And not give me the 1st underlined statement answer in cell D10. If that also equals true.
But if any other cells G11 thru G14 equals OUT. It still will give the 1st statement.
I need the answer to be the only one of them correctly thats equal true.

I know that the 1st underlined statement = true. Because G15= OUT .....

Userform Textbox Using VLookup Date Could Not Give Correct Answer (40850)

I created an UserForm that looks for Student Name his/her Conferenece Date through a VLookup.

The following is my code:

.txtTime.Value = Application.WorksheetFunction.VLookup(txtStudentName.Value, Sheets("SPANISH").Range("A2:F113"), 4, 0)

The txtTranslator and txtTime works correctly, however txtDate give me a number '40850' not a Date?

How can I change this number for the actual Date?

Compare Four Columns, Give Yes Or & No Answer

I have the attached worksheet with clients' names in four columns (A-D). The first names and last names must remain separate. I need one additional column that shows whether a full name (first and last) in C and D also appears in A and B.

Then one more column that shows how many times the name in C and D shows up, but only if it is also in A and B.

Parenthesis - Formula Give An Answer Of 178

The following formula shoud give an answer of 178. I think I am placing the
parenthesis in the wrong position.

The answer I get is 308669

=(((F22*71449)*0.4)+16147/C22)

Cell-F22 number is 1826
71449 is a constant number
0.4 is a constant number
16147 is a constant number
Cell-C22 is 10.8

Search Using Info From Two Cells To Give Corresponding Answer From Different Sheet

see the attached 'Example' excel sheet.

I'm not the best at explaining, but I think that the excel sheet is pretty straight forward.

In Sheet2, cells C3 and D3 are manually entered by the user. I am looking for a formula for B3 that will take the information entered into C3 and D3, find the row in Sheet1 in which column C=Sheet2!C3 and column D=Sheet2!D3, and give the unique corresponding result from Sheet 1 for that row in column B .

So, for example,
if C3=A and D3=102, then the result would be 444
if C3=A and D3=104, then the result would be 111
if C3=B and D3=102, then the result would be 111

The combination of C3 and D3 is always unique and will never have more than one possible result in column B of Sheet1.

Formula Correct But Not Showing Answer

I am using this formula for long now

=SUMPRODUCT(('[Diesel Statement.xlsx]Nov 12'!$C$2:$C$251=$H$1)*'[Diesel Statement.xlsx]Nov 12'!$G$2:$G$251)

every month i just add a new sheet and change the month name in the formula to that eg

I changed it to

=SUMPRODUCT(('[Diesel Statement.xlsx]Dec 12'!$C$2:$C$251=$H$1)*'[Diesel Statement.xlsx]Dec 12'!$G$2:$G$251)

but now it is not calculating the answer is coming as #value!.

Then I tried to add up by

=VLOOKUP($H$1,'[Diesel Statement.xlsx]Dec 12'!$C$2:$G$215,5,TRUE)

but it does not add all the entries only one entry is shown.

I want the total of the column G. looking up for values in C = H1 value

VLOOKUP Multiple Values Then Give Answer Based On Condition?

I have been struggling with this formula for ages and have finally given up. What I would like to do is to do a lookup on the concatenated values of Province, Department and Initiative No, which has mutiple values in the status of milestone column, and then give the answer based on a condition.

The condition for this example should be, that if the returned status / or statuses of the initiative is all 1, then the value should be 1, if it's all 2, then the value should be 2, and so on.....but if the values returned from the status of the initiative is a combination of 1,2 or 3, then it should give me the answer 2. If 4 is part of the comination of values returned, then the value should be 4.

Zero - 0 should be excluded from the formula as it is part of planned values and not actual.

Addition Calculation Not Giving Correct Answer

I have a workbook with calculations for a sale less the assorted fees and at the end giving the final amount from a sale.

I have noticed that some of the rows are not giving the correct amount in them.
In other words the addition of some columns in that row are not adding up correctly. It is only off by 1 cent (either over or under), but I can't figure out why.

I have the feeling that I am going to want to kick myself when someone explains this to me (I just know that I know the answer but for the life of me I can't right now).

I have a cell reference C2 from Checkbox that is answer Y.

If "Y" I want to calculate *0.005+0,0.03),0)*C4.

I need to skip the 1st & 2nd quarter after C4 before the calcautaion starts.

Then continuing no greater than .03 till the date changes.

I have tried to rearange this formula every way I can think of to get it to work like I want it to.

For example:

I'm looking to use an if/and statement to give back a true of false but it doesnt seem to be working, I'll give an example, I want excel to search a set of cells to see if its blank and another cell to see whats written there(from a pull down menu) and if both of them are true I conditionally format to go green, otherwise stay white. It works for one cell, condition below:

=AND(Anoop!B3="IIC",NOT(ISBLANK(Anoop!C3)))

but I cant get it to do this
=AND(Anoop!B3:13="IIC",NOT(ISBLANK(Anoop!C3)))

i.e search the entire column

I was also wondering if it was possible if it found an "IIC" in B8 how I could get it to check C8, D8 etc..

I am trying to count how many entries in a worksheet say "yes" depending on a value in another column - formula is:

=IF('PM Tracker'!$D$3:$D$1000=C15,COUNTIF('PM Tracker'!$V:$V,"Yes"),"None")

Value in cell C15 is equal to "43-11" (week number and year)

This keeps returning "none" as the answer but I know 3 entries satisfy the "yes" criteria in Column V for week 43-11.

I need a statement to look at how many words are in a cell. If there is 4, to return "Stem" to another column, if it's the 5th word or higher then to return the last word in the string.

For Example

Trying to assign this cell's value to the correct sheet tab for the current month.

Trying this:

=IF(MONTH(A3)=5,'[Wholesales 2014.xlsx]May'!$P$1,0),IF(MONTH(A3)=6,'[Wholesales 2014.xlsx]Jun'!$P$1,0)

A3 is todays date. Wholesales 2014.xlsx]May is a seprate sheet for the month of may and so forth for june.

The problem is the p1 value is empty for the Jun sheet so I get an error: #VALUE! (I assume that is why I am getting the error?)

By itself works just fine. I need to set this up for future use, though.

I'm looking to work out an IF statement based on a series of dates entered to give 1 of 3 possable outcomes. Where:

A1: todays date (exmaple =NOW())
B1: due date (exmaple 10/02/09)
C1: completion date (example 12/02/09)
D1: status (overdue, outstanding or completed)

D1: =IF(A1>B1,"overdue",IF(A1<B1,"outstanding",IF(C1<=>A1 & B1,"completed")))

I know the last part is totally wrong (symbols arranged in that manner), but to clarify i would like the date entered in C1 to override the other statements in the fomula to make it read "completed". If no date is entered in C1 then the formula will return either "overdue" or "outstanding" depending on the other dates in A1 and B1.

If Cell B8:B11 = ABS or Dum that any points won should be added to Cell L8:L11 right now its adding it into K8:K11. If Cell B8:B11 = is Blank any player points should be added to cells K8:K11. We receive about 20 sales files of several hundred lines of data each day from various agencies. I want to create a macro / VBA code which checks that the data submitted is correct so that we can upload it into our database without import errors and / or having to manually check each line of data.

File May Be Read-Only, Or You May Be Trying To Access A Read-Only Location

I'm trying to open a file on a network drive...but I'm getting the following error message when it opens: "This file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location. Or the server the document is stored on may not be responding." Now, the file itself has no rights restrictions and is not read only. It doesn't appear to be locked.

Now, there are other Excel files in the same directory which I could open fine; however, the Excel documents having the above problem all have a little black icon "appears to be a padlock" (image attached) at the bottom left hand side of the Excel file icon. I tried the following:

- Renaming
- Converting to a different file format (didn't work, it won't let me)
- Opening in notepad...etc doesn't work.

This file is dated back in 2004...do you think it's corrupt? Is there anything i can do to open or recover this?

Same Formula, Why Can't Get The Same Answer??

in the "Order for EMS" and "Order for FEDEX" there have 1 product exist, now the customer need to type the country in the "F35", and the Price of weight will look back to the sheet "EMS Weight" and "FEDEX Weight" but for example, if i type Japan in both sheet, the EMS that one is correct 1kg to Japan is $168 but in FEDEX that one is not correct 1kg to Japan is $169 but now show $342, the formula in "G36" should be correct, what's wrong of my formula????
