If Cell = X, Then Copy Entire Row Into A New Sheet
I have a report that I use everyweek and split up into various sheets according to the criteria.
So if any cell in column C contains "Apple", then I want it copied into a new s/s (with the headers). I basically have to do a number of iterations on this, can someone assist please? The main problem I invisage is asking Excel to copy the row into the new sheet underneath the last one.

VBA Macro To Copy Entire Row To Another Sheet
I have written Macro to copy every row in "sheet1" 24 times into new sheet called "NewSheet". but it keep giving me error message. Actually, I don't know why. Can any one please help.
here is my macro
Worksheets.Add().Name = "NewSheet"
' Find the last row of data
FinalRow = Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
' Loop through each row

' Loop to copy every row 24 times
For i = 1 To 24
NextRow = Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row + 1
Copy Entire Row To New Sheet If Column Data Is Matched
i need a macro that will allow an entire row from one sheet be copied into a new sheet.
so basically here is what needs to be done:
1. from my active sheet, look in Column 'D', select all rows in in column D if it has the word "Confirmed" in it
2. create a new sheet and paste all those selected rows to this sheet
3. delete this transfered data from sheet 1
4. in the new sheet, i need to add in titles as follows in columns A - O:
If Cell = True Copy Entire Row To A Dif Tab
If you look at the attached spreadsheet you will see 6 tabs. Main, New Cust, Quote, etc.
"Main" will be the sheet that everything is inputted. If there is a "Y" under new customer, I want the entire row to copy to the tab "New Cust". If there is an "X" under quote, struct design, or graphic design I want it under its approp. tab. The Lisa tab should take certain Sales-Person and copy entire row on the Lisa tab. The certain Sales-Persons are BS, PK, PB, PD.
Buttons are fine. The "main" page will be getting updated daily w/ new info so after entering new data, i can press the button and it should copy the above to its locations.
Copy The Entire Row Depends On A Cell Value
I would like to create a macro for my boss, their requirement is, in sheet 1 , they have one column, To chase . So when type "y" in any of the cell in a 'To chase' column, then copy the entire row and paste to sheet2.
Also is it possible to do this any selection change event of the cell?
Copy Rows From Selected Sheet To New Sheet Based On Cell Value
i have a workbook that has a lot of sheets but i need to pull information from the one sheet "Veneer Log" i Need it to make new sheets with the same heading as on the "Veneer Log" (Rows 1 & 2) Sheet but it needs to be filtered by the "Product" Column (H) with a new sheet made for all the diffrent products i.e. Dimensional, Drywall, Corners - Thin V., Accents,..... so each product will have a new sheet with i am hoping someone can help me with this. This log changes Daily and it would be nice to have a sheet with only the same product on it to compare new orders so we can batch run. i hope i have given you enough information so someone can help me with this. i have attached a sample log the real log has about 10 worksheet for diffrent departments but i only need info from the Veneer Log Sheet.
Automatically Re-name Sheet To Cell Value & Create Copy Of Hidden Sheet
I have a workbook with a hidden sheet ("Template") and a visible sheet("New Job"). I need code so when cell F1 in "New Job" is populated:
1-the sheet is renamed to the value of F1,
2-a new tab is made (a carbon copy of the hidden sheet "Template")
3-the new tab is named "New Tab" and marked as unhidden.
Public Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
ActiveSheet.Name = Range("F1").Value
Function WorksheetExists(SheetName As String, _
Optional WhichBook As Workbook) As Boolean
Dim WB As Workbook
Set WB = IIf(WhichBook Is Nothing, ThisWorkbook, WhichBook)
On Error Resume Next
WorksheetExists = CBool(Len(WB.Worksheets(SheetName).Name) > 0)
Copy Row From Sheet 1 To Sheet 2 When Data Entered In Cell F
I have Worksheet 1, with columns A to E. I would like a row to be copied to Worksheet 2, as soon as cell F in Worksheet 1 is populated. Also the row to be deleted from Worksheet 1.
So, as soon as F1 in worksheet 1 is populated and enter button pressed, row A1:F1 will be copied to the next empty row in worksheet 2, while being deleted from worksheet 1. So eventually all rows in worksheet 1 will be deleted and rows in worksheet 2 will be populated.
Copy Entire Row
Here is the code that I have so far and it works almost the way I want it to. I need to copy over more than just that cell that is being coppied over I need to copy over certain columns in that row.
Private Sub ListBox1_Click()
Dim wksData As Worksheet, wksPayment As Worksheet
Set wksPayment = Sheet11
Set wksData = Sheet26
Dim LR As Long
LR = wksData.Cells(Rows.count, "A").End(xlUp).Row
Dim varField As Variant
varField = wksPayment.OLEObjects("Listbox1").Object.Value
Range("F6").Value = varField
Copy Entire Row From One Ws To Another
I have looked through the forum at several different copy and Vlookup examples, but I can’t seem to get them to work. I need to compare worksheet(1) (“Portfollio”) in column “B” against Worksheet(2) (“PJS Cap”) column “B” to find any items that the worksheet(2) has that Worksheet(1) does not. Then for these items copy the entire row to the end of worksheet(1). My code gives a runtime error on the copy line
Dim Found As Boolean
Dim I As Integer
Dim J As Integer
Dim LastRowE As Long
Dim LastRowP As Long
Dim InsterRow As Long
LastRowE = Worksheets("PJS Cap"). Range("b65536").End(xlUp).Row
LastRowP = Worksheets("Portfollio").Range("b65536").End(xlUp).Row
InsertRow = LastRowP
For J = 2 To LastRowE ' loops through the portfollio worksheet project list
Found = False 'flag intitated to not found........................
Cut Entire Rows To Another Sheet

Entire Sheet Into A Variable
I need a command to copy an entire sheet into some variable, in order to paste that variable in the same sheet later, if necessary (classical undo functionality).
Private Sub CopySheet()
w = Worksheets("test")
Worksheets("test") = w 'UNDO if necessary
Copy Entire Row To New Worksheet
I've a worksheet where I maintain the IT tickets that I handle. Whenever, the I column is updated with Implemented/Closed, the entire row should be copied to a new worksheet.
I've tried with other VBA scripts provided, but was not success with the same.
Copy Range ISO Entire Row
I have below macro button code, when i click on any row and enter button, entire row gets copied and paste in other sheet. Can we ammend this formula so that it should not copy entire row, instead it should copy range from row A to row Q only as i need to utilise other coloums which should not get copied to other sheet.
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Sheets("FWD Mary Ann").Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Offset(1).PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues
Copy The Entire Worksheet
I have a worksheet (will be the last worksheet) that I want to use as a template for further worksheets.
I want the user to be able to run a macro (?) and copy the entire worksheet and then insert it to the right of all the worksheets as many times as needed.
Autofilter Will Not Always Select Entire Sheet
I have a workbook that uses Autofilter.
Column A has data. Column B is hidden, has no data, and is empty.
Colmn C has data, on through the rest of the sheet (to Column AB).
Why column B has no data is unimportant for now. It, however, must maintain its existance and cannot be deleted.
When I select the autofilter sort button on column A, it selects only that column, and not the rest of the sheet. Data is subsequently scrambled.
When I unhide the empty column B and select the sort button on column B, it selects the entire sheet. Data remains intact.
When I select the sort button on column C, it selects the rest of the sheet, but not column A (with data), or B (with no data). Data is subsequently scrambled.
Copy And Paste Entire Row In Worksheet
I want to run a macro that looks thru column F of all my worksheets (in my entire workbook).
If it finds an x then I want it to copy that entire row and paste it into a worksheet called "old" or a new worksheet or a new document in word (it doesn't matter - just whatever is easiest for my little brain to understand).
I should end up with about 40 rows of data in the new sheet.
(I have some code that looks thru it all and colors the cell blue but I just don't know how to get it to copy and paste the entire row into a new worksheet.)
Find Value In Column & Copy Entire Row
way to search for a value in a cell (an unique one) using an input box and then if the value is found copying the whole row of the cell onto a new worksheet in the next available row within a table.
I am currently using the following archaic codes:
x$ = InputBox("Please Enter Catalogue Number")
For i = 4 To 500
If Sheet2.Cells(i, 1) = x$ Or Sheet2.Cells(i, 7) = x$ Or Sheet2.Cells(i, 8) = x$ Or Sheet2.Cells(i, 9) = x$ Then
Sheet1.Cells(6, 1) = Sheet2.Cells(i, 1)
Sheet1.Cells(6, 2) = Sheet2.Cells(i, 2)
Sheet1.Cells(6, 3) = Sheet2.Cells(i, 3)
Sheet1.Cells(6, 4) = Sheet2.Cells(i, 4)
Sheet1.Cells(6, 5) = Sheet2.Cells(i, 5)
Sheet1.Cells(6, 6) = Sheet2.Cells(i, 6)
this has the problem that i can't fit it to the next available row and have to be specific for each row.
it would also be great if i could put a messagebox in cases where the data is not found, basically saying that the item does not exist and if a simple excel Ctrl+F button or something similar could be attached to the msgbox so that the item can be searched and then added to the next available row.
Find Match Then Copy Entire Row
Random values will be pasted into sheet1. I a looking for a macro that will look for a match to the values in sheet1 column A in Sheet2 Column A. When a match is found it will paste the entire row from Sheet2 to sheet#3
See the example. Note: the match will always be an exact match.
Search, Copy And Paste Entire Row Into New Workbook
I need a code that will search column A over multiple sheets for a user specified value through an input box. I then need this code to copy and paste the entire row to a new workbook titled "Batch Report" Anyone have any ideas? I have a code that will copy and paste only a few rows but no where near all of them, and I cant figure out why.
Make New Copy Of Entire Workbook Macro
I've created an Excel 2007 workbook with about a dozen worksheets that are full of formulas and links to other workbooks, as well as conditional formatting that isn't backwardly compatible with Excel 2003. However, many people who want to see this workbook are still on Excel 2003. I need to recreate an Excel 2003 compatible workbook with the appearance and formatting of the original and have all the formulas and links converted to values. So, the final product will "look" just like the original without the conditional formatting, links or formulas. It will just have the look, colors and values displayed for all cells.
Essentially, I want a macro that will copy however many worksheets (1-n) are in an Excel 2007 workbook to a new Excel 2003 workbook. I'd like the worksheets to retain their label names as well.
If Text Is Found On Two Sheets, Copy Entire Row
I have one master worksheet with 1000 ID's. I also have 10 other spreadsheets with 1000 ID's. I need my macro to use the master worksheet and identify where the IDs are located among the 10 spreadsheets. If there is a match, then my macro should copy the entire row and place it in an output file (another spreadsheet).
The following code only tests the master worksheet and three other sheets (one being null/error is ID not found).
' Macro5 Macro
Dim Raw, Mix1, Mix2, error As Excel.Worksheet
Set Raw = Sheets("RAW_DATA")
Set Mix1 = Sheets("Mix1")
Set Mix2 = Sheets("Mix2")
Set error = Sheets("error")
For x = 1 To 1000
For y = 1 To 1000
If Raw.Cells(x, 1) = Mix1.Cells(y, 1) Then.................
How To Find A Specific Text And Copy This Entire Row
I tried to writer my code myself but I have a long way to go. Here is what I must do for my case:
I want a macro to find the row that include a specific text (For example "SMSC") in a range (A1:A100) then copy this entire row below the cell which has the value "OTHERS". That is, if there are 10 pieces of "SMSC" so these rows including "SMSC" should be listed below the cell "OTHERS"
Trying To Run A Macro To Sort And Remove Duplicates From Entire Sheet
Currently use this macro (see below) but occasionally I have more rows than 842. I could increase to 10000 and this would work but looking for a more automated macro that will automatically remove duplicates from all rows i.e. a macro that works out all rows.
Application.CutCopyMode = False
ActiveSheet.Range("$A$1:$J$842").RemoveDuplicates Columns:=1, Header:=xlYes
Process To Remove Background Links From Entire Sheet
I have a spreadsheet that was given to me from an outside source, and a lot but not all of the cells (seem to be random) have links associated with them so that if you click a cell, it opens a new internet browser window directing to the link. Is there a way for me to remove every single one of these links without having to go cell by cell looking for each one ?
Copy Entire Worksheet Including All Macros And VBA Code
I need to copy my worskheet multiple times to create about 10 of the same worksheets within a workbook. I know if you click in the very most top left hand corner of the worksheet, then click copy, go to the new worksheet and click paste, it copies the whole page, but it does not copy over the VBA Code.
Also, for some reason, it does copy over my macro buttons, but does not put some of them in the right spot?
Copy Data From Cell In One Worksheet, Add Text, And Paste To Cell In Another Sheet
I have the following code in another workbook that is used to populate a cell on the same sheet based on input to cells in column 'A'.
Is it possible to modify this for the attached workbook to select a cell with data (numbers) on the Input Data sheet in column 'E', add text to the beginning, ('CG' in this case), and paste the result to the Import Template in the corresponding cell of column 'A'? I currently have a formula copied to dozens of cells in 'A' but since the number of rows for the Input Template is variable, there are usually cells in 'A' that contain CG but no corresponding data in the rest of the row.
Circumventing Silly 255 Char Limit When Copying Entire Sheet
I am having mucho problems because of Excel's 255 character limit when copying an entire spreadsheet to a new workbook.
In a nutshell, I copy a "data entry" page onto a “report” page within a workbook. The entire “report” page is then copied and moved into a new workbook. That allows me to have a stand alone, exported file outside of my main data entry tool. When you copy an entire page to a new workbook, Excel imposes a 255 character limit. Thus, I see truncated responses on the exported spreadsheet only.
Print Entire Workbook + Multiple Copies Of Single Sheet
This is probably a VBA thing, but there might be a simpler solution. Either would be grand!
Basically, I have a four sheet workbook that needs to be printed out in its entirety (no problem doing that ); however, I would like the final sheet (called "Room Data") to be printed, let's say ten times.
So basically I'd get a single print of the first three sheets and ten of the "Room Data".
Any ideas on how to do this without having to manually print the final sheet multiple times or creating ten identical sheets in the workbook?
Copy Entire Row By Range & Suppress 'Cannot Edit Links' Message
I have 10 workbooks which have various calculations and have several links to each other. We use Excel 2003.
For each of these files, I have the following code in the Auto_Open module
Range Range(“TodayComp”) is a date taken form a link in another spreadsheet. It is on Column 3, but the row changes every day as more rows are inserted before it
This sub looks at Range(“TodayComp”) and checks the date on the cell directly above.
If say Range(“TodayComp”) is 6/25/2008, and the cell above is 6/22/2008, it will insert three rows right above Range(“TodayComp”). These rows need to be copied with formulas from the current row above Range(“TodayComp”)
The following code works (it copies the rows), but it takes forever to run, as you can see in bold, I copy and paste each cell, instead of the entire row.
Is there a way to copy and paste the entire row? Remember that I have only a named range to refer to, no cell address as it changes every time.
Public Sub Auto_open()
Public Sub Update_Dates()
Dim tdy, prev As Date
Dim index, i, j, yr, no_inserts As Integer
Catch An Error And Reset The Entire Code To The Very Beginning And Skip That Entire Entry
I want to catch an error and reset the entire code to the very beginning and skip that entire entry. When I use "Next fieldSheetName" I get "Next without For," error 1004. Searches tell me I have an open block somewhere, but that's not true. Removing that statement (and having the loop iterate as normal) has no error at all.
Dim employeeName As String
Dim fieldMax, x, y As Byte ' Counters mostly
Dim workedHours, fieldSheetName As Integer
fieldMax = 204 ' Row number to stop on in the field time sheet
row = 4 ' Row specification for field time sheet. Begin at row 4 to ignore headers
' and start on the first name. This should not be changed!
Col = 3 ' Start at column 3 then increase by one to start going to next time entry
' RESET HERE!
For fieldSheetName = 4 To fieldMax Step 8 ' This is our MAIN loop. It iterates from 0 to fieldMax, which is 204...........
Copy Row From One Sheet To Another If Cell Value
What i want to do with attached example is add a macro to the button which copies each of the rows where there is a value in column C and then paste these rows into the next available row in the 'settled' worksheet.
Once pasted into 'settled' then each o the rows with values in column C of 'unsettled' want deleting.
Copy Row To Sheet With Same Name As Value Of Cell In Row
I have a workbook that has about 300 different sheets- each the name of a different chapter of a fraternity. I get new lists of members daily and have to manually sort them into the 300 different sheets.
Is there any way I can automate this? For example, if column "E" contained the chapter name- in this case cell E38 contained "Oklahoma Kappa" , the macro would automatically copy row 38 to the first empty row in sheet "Oklahoma Kappa".
