I am maintaining a spreadsheet to enter all my sales orders. I need a code which automatically moves the entire row to a new sheet "Completed" when the order status is selected as "Completed".

VBA - Move Entire Rows From One Sheet To Another Based On Cell Value?

I have two sheets:

1. Not yet printed
2. Printed

My data is in sheet 1 (Not yet printed). I would like to move automatically entiry rows (sometimes more then one) to sheet 2 (Printed) based on one cell's value. Here is a screenshot:

For example when I enter into Sheet 2 '264450' then row 2 would have been moved to Sheet 2.

And also with multiple rows, if I enter '264461' then row 4 and row 6 would have been moved to sheet 2 as well. I wouldn't like to enter a value more than once.

Ok so Im working on Christmas functions and this is how my data base looks

What I need to do is move all the dates onto their own worksheet, so every row containing 1/12/2013 would move to the worksheet 1.12.13, the 6/12/2013 would move to the worksheet 6.12.13 and so on.

Currently I have to copy and paste each row manually, which takes time. Any macro or formula which would do this automatically every time new data is entered. The main database, like above, will contain around 200 entries.

I have a report that I use everyweek and split up into various sheets according to the criteria.

So if any cell in column C contains "Apple", then I want it copied into a new s/s (with the headers). I basically have to do a number of iterations on this, can someone assist please? The main problem I invisage is asking Excel to copy the row into the new sheet underneath the last one.

I have Excel 2002. I need to create a formula that will move an entire row to another page within the same workbook if a cell in that row has a certain value. Example would be if A1 cell in the row has a value of 111 I need to move the entire row to another page. I could use the sort then cut function in a macro but the spread sheet I'm working with changes daily. One day there will be 10 A1 cells with 111 the next 30 cells with 111 in A1 and some days no cells with 111.

I have a sheet with Customer name in the first column and next 7 columns have unique serial numbers(alphanumeric) of the systems which that customer has purchased. Vlookup searches only in 1 columns, so does match index. lookup didn't work as well.

I am trying to copy an entire row to another tab based on when a cell changes. The column where the change will come from in colum N. I am using this code based on what I have read on this board, but cannot seem to get it to work correctly.

I've got a password protected spreadsheet with only certain cells unlocked to allow users to complete them. I need the following to work on Excel versions 2003, 2007 & 2010.

Cell E3 has a drop down list with types of car to choose from. One of the car types is "Pool_Car".

Cell D12 should only be used if "Pool_Car" is selected from the drop down list. If any other car type is selected, and the user tries to enter a figure in D12, I need an error message to appear.

E3 & D12 are unlocked cells.

I'm happy for D12 to become locked & only allow it to be unlocked if "pool_car" is selected, but I've looked elsewhere, but can't find VBA or data validation to work.

I need write a VBA code that will move an entire row into a new sheet if the value of the last cell says "YES" If the value is blank then Id like it to stay in the current sheet. I would also like it if the cell wont allow any other value other than Yes to be typed.

I just cannot seem to get it to work. Simply copying and pasting that into the module doesn't work. I am not very good at VBA and just started taking a course on VBA. Id like to jump into this problem asap as I need it for work.

Basically:

Columns A:E will have values. In Column E I would like to type in Yes if completed. I would like the Macro to run through all of Column E and if the cell value is "YES" then I want it to cut the entire row and paste into a new sheet. In the new sheet I would like it to be pasted into the next available row.

Also can I create this with a ActiveX control button? I would like to have a button that I can click at the end of my work which will run the Macro in sheet 1.

I would like to create a macro that could archive entries from one sheet and insert them in another. I created one but the problem is that the entry has to be the same row each time.

Example:

Sheet 1 – is current jobs and sheet 2 is old jobs.

My macro moves an entry from Row A-5 of Sheet 1 and moves it to the top of Sheet 2.

I would like to be able to scroll through each entry select it and have it moved to the top of the Old Jobs sheet.

Gantt Chart - Changing Cell Color Based On % Completed

I'm trying to create a simplified Gantt chart of sorts, and cannot figure out one piece of it. I'm not sure how to write out exactly what I need, but here goes.

I would like to have a formula that looks at the percent completed (which the user inputs) and multiplies it by the total duration for the task to give a total number of days completed. Then, under the corresponding dates, the color of the cell would change. I've attached a simplified version of what I'm talking about.

On the attached spreadsheet, the total duration (D2) is 5 days and the percent completed (C2) is 40%. This calculates to 2 days. With that said, I would like the cells under the first 2 days under the listed dates (E2 and F2) to change color. When the percentage complete reaches 60%, then G2 would change color, when it reaches 80%, then H2 would change, and when it reaches 100%, then I2 would change.

My guess is that the formula will need to result in a particular value, and then I'll use Conditional Formatting to do the actual changing of the cell color. Assuming this is correct, I still don't know what formula to use to accomplish this.

I attached the sheet that I am trying to get up and running, there is two things I need to do, but cant get it working as I intend to.

Sheet 1 - When the invoice number is fulled in in cell F8 a message box must pop up requesting the hyperlink to the invoice saved on a share folder, but for now on the desktop, when the file is selected it (the hyperlink) must be returned to cell G8, then once the last cell (I8) has been completed, the line 8 must be locked so that it can't be editted again without a default password and a new line must be added below line 8 for processing, I tried recording the macro, but it only works on one line, and on the message box request, I truly am not up to speed yet, this I can't get up and running.
