Averaging From A Reference Point

I have a column of data and I want to average the figures from a certain point onwards.

I have the starting point value in a cell which is used as the lookup value to find the matching position in the list using the Match(lookup value, array) formula.

How do I then use that formula as the row number in a cell reference for the averageing formula?

eg Average(C(match(B1,C4:C100)):C100) - what is the correct syntax?

What I need is to create output that looks like this:

So essentially for each code, I need two separate rows that say what heading and the value is.

I need the x-axis to reflect each of the 42 numbers I've added in the column and not a preset or fixed range of numbers. So below is an Sample (Actually about 200 people) of a manually finished product (without names). All parameters must be met.

Basically it will break the Big groups into smaller groups of 4. Assigning the smaller groups a numeric group number starting with 1.

Parameters. No more than 2 members of a club in one small group. No more than 7 lbs between lowest weight member and largest weight member. If it can not complete this, a 3 or 5 (preferably 5) man group can be made.

Automatically Change The Point Name To Match The Point Name In Column

I have a pivot table as shown below which is pretty straight forward however I am trying to create a macro that will automatically change the point name to match the point name in column E then copy that resulting dispaly to another sheet then pick the next point name in line and do the same thing and repeat for 50 rows, so my end result will be 50 pivot tables ready for printing. I can do this manually but I am trying to make it automatic...BTW the point names in column E change everyday but the pivot table supports the name changes.

VBA Userform - Labeling Depending On Multiple Variables

I have the following issue:

I have a table of data, and would like my userform to select parts on this depending on different variables.

When I run the macro "Show_UserFormCalculatePrice" or click the button "Calculate Price", the userform is activated which has 2 comboboxes, Date and Service.

When a certain date a service are selected I would like the the dish name to show in the labels of the userform.

My main issue is that there will be multiple dishes that will correspond to the data, and I would like them to be vertically listed in the labels depending on their number (Column A).

Essentially I would like to run some sort of If function:

If the date and the service correspond to the criteria then they are shown in the labels.

Excel 2003 :: Labeling Horizontal Axis Of XYScatter Chart With Math Division Inverse

We make many graphs using XYscatter charts with lots of data points using Excel 2003 with the horizontal scale properly scaled as frequency. I have been asked to label that axis in some way as period (=1/frequency) without changing the scaling for the data plot. Is there a suitable way to do this? It would be OK to just change the axis numbers to 1/frequency computed from them automatically. Is Excel 2010 any easier for this?

How do I change a formula cell reference based on another cell's reference? I'm building a schedule that looks to a task's trigger and adds days based on that relationship. All entries in column "A" will be text and all cells in "B" will be the simple formula "=A2" or "=A3". Due date is calculated by adding the value in "C" to the preceding date in column "D". In the spreadsheet below, the trigger for "Budget set" is "Specs written" with 3 days added to the previous due date.

The user can then enter a four digit number following the MMDDYY. In this worksheet, Column A holds a transaction number, which is always in the form MMDDYYXXXX. I am trying to save the user the trouble of entering the MMDDYY, since it will always be today's date.

I'm trying to create a macro that when run, scans Row 12 (only after column E), Finds the first empty cell, then inserts the cell value from Sheet4 CellE8. Then the hard bit begins. I need it to insert cell info in all the cells below it, from different locations...

For example

A
B
C
D

[Code].....

In the above sheet, I need it to go to cell D2 and insert the values from Sheet4 CellE8, Then proceed to D3 and insert data from Sheet3 D4, then to cell D5 and insert data from Sheet1 A7, etc etc

I dont mind doing each cell individually, but they will always be in the same column (and row 2 "Value" will always be the one that determines the next empty column).

I have lets say 12 months of data. I have formulas that reference the latest 6 months. When I insert a new column to input a new month, how can I make the formulas include the new months without manually updating them.

EXAMPLE:

12 months of data exist in cells B3:M3 going from B3(oldest) to M3(newest). Formulas reference latest 6 months of data in cells H3:M3. When a new month hits, I insert a column after column M.I would like the formulas to now reference cells I3:N3 which is now the newest 6 months.

I have a workbook with 1000+ worksheets, all of which have 3-letter names. On a master sheet, I would like to make a query of how many non-empty cells there are on a subsidiary worksheet. This works:

What I'd like to do from time to time is input in column A a varying set of 3-letter worksheet names, say

AAB
ABC
CDE

And have a formula in column B that converts this to

=COUNTA(AAB!A:A)
=COUNTA(ABC!A:A)
=COUNTA(CDE!A:A)

I've learned that simply substituting the cell references A1, A2, A3 for AAB, ABC and CDE doesn't work. What do I need to do to achieve this?

Let's say I've ended up with the number 8 in Cell D4 for example. Is there a formula that can return the letter "G" (The 8th Column) so I can use it in future cell references ? If so, let's say we store that in Cell B5. How do I now refer to a cell in a chosen Row of that same Column by reference to Cell B5 ? For example if I want to refer to Cell G33 can you refer to this Cell in some form like Cell(Contents of Cell B5;33) ??? Don't want to use R1C1 type references if possible.

E is the sum of A,B,and C

As I add in a new column to the right of C (call it C2), I need D (which has shifted over one) to sum A,B, and C.

I also need E (which has also shifted over one) to sum A,B,C, and C2.

I have 2 problems relating to LOOKUP.
Not sure if Excel can perform these calculations as they could get to complex.

Problem 1
Can it be possible to have excel look at data from one cell reference another cell then display the results from the cell next to it in another cell, sort of example:

Tab 1 (Never changes)
AB
Bob1
Jon2
Fred3

Tab 2 (Dynamic, changes each week)
AB
Jon
Fred
Bob

So it would work as follows.
Tab2 column B will take Tab2 column A’s data check Tab1 column A and display Tab1 column B’s result.

Looking For A Solution On How To Convert A Returned Cell Address To A Cell Reference

I have a formula (AL15) to determine the address of the last column with a value greater than 1. =COUNTIF(C16:AC16,">=1")+2. I then use this column value to aquire the Absolute row "15" and the determined column=(ADDRESS(15,AL15,4)). This returns to me a Column value and row value that I need to use as a refference. How can I convert this returned value to a reference.
