Macro To Autofill With Custom List Based On Value Of Current Cell

I have an Excel file for work that has the following:

Column 1 is Agent
Column 2 is Interval (in 15 minute intervals from a report that I pulled)
Column 3 is Agent Calls (has a number anywhere from 1 - the highest currently is 19, which tells me how many calls that Agent had on that 15 minute interval.)

What I have currently is that if it says:

John Doe 15:00 5

It will automatically insert rows after the number based on a # -1, so it will add 4 empty rows after this row.

I have another step that will automatically copy Column 1 and Column 2 to the blank rows directly beneath them until it reaches a cell with data.

Now, what I need is a macro that will take Column C and where it says 5 automatically know to change that to '5a' then proceed to go down the list with 5b, 5c, 5d, & 5e. If it sees 4 it will know to change that to '4a' then proceed to go down the list with 4b, 4c, & 4d. I currently have numbers ranging from 2 - 19.

I have built custom list with this information so if I change all the numbers from 4 to 4a or 19 to 19a and double click on the black box it will autofill exactly like I want but it only goes down to the next cell with data, and I have 100+ lines per agent, and up to 21 agents a day, so this gets time consuming.

Here's how it looks when I'm ready to start the macro:

JohnDoe - Doe, John15:00 x
JohnDoe - Doe, John15:15 4a
JohnDoe - Doe, John15:15
JohnDoe - Doe, John15:15
JohnDoe - Doe, John15:15
JohnDoe - Doe, John15:45 4a

And I need it to look like this:

How to sort a column of data based on a custom list with more than 255 characters.

I have created a named range with 40 entries and then added data validation in the cells of column D using the above named range. However, I want to be able to sort column D in the same order as the named range but the custom data sort lists are restricted to 255 characters.

I have data in Sheet "Schedule" in range A8:C160 (including column headers), but note the length (rows) of the range is dynamic.

A8 = Customer
B8 = Load Time
C8 = Delivery Time

Columns B & C are formatted as h:mm:ss AM/PM, but Column B also includes text..."PRELOAD"

I would like a macro to sort the data based on column B, but the sort must follow a specific order, which is listed in Sheet "TimeSort", range A1:A50 (including header).

The custom order basically has "PRELOAD" sorting at the top, then sorting everything else chronologically starting at 6:00am.

The desired outcome would sort the range based on column B as follows...PRELOAD, 6:00:00 AM, 8:00:00 AM, 12:00:00 PM, 5:30:00 AM

Example is attached (desired sort is reflected).

Using Custom Sort List Within Macro

I have following code, which sorts data if user "double clicks" on cells A1, B1, C1, or D1. If the user "double clicks" on cell D1, I want to sort by column D but I want to apply a custom list. The data is in the "Custom Lists" table but I can't figure out how to apply to my code.

The sequence/sort order of the list is as follows:

I want a range to be filled based on 2 cell values in my sheet. The autofill range should be filled based on the values in the input range. For instance in cell A1 I place the value 1 and in cell A2 I place the value 10, then the macro should automatically fill in the numbers from 1 to 10 in another column. If I change for instance the input values to 5 and 15, then the autofill range should fill up the numbers from 5 to 15.

I have a workbook which has one sheet "Raw Data" where I will cut and past blocks of data of various numbers of rows. Another sheet "level one calcs" conducts various calculations on the raw data. I was wondering if there would be any way to create a macro which would copy down (autofill) the last row of my my calculation page for the exact number of rows I added into the raw data. Autofill Until Non-blank Cell Macro

I have searched the forum a few times and haven't seen an exact example of what I am trying to do, so I hope this isn't a duplicate.

I am looking for a macro to copy a cell and autofill it down the column until it gets to a non-blank cell. When it reaches that cell it needs to then copy THAT cell down until it reaches another non-blank cell... this could happen just a couple times, a couple dozen times, or only the very first time.

So for example:

In cell B2 there is text "Data1"
In cell B13 there is text "Data2"
In cell B25 there is text "Data3"

I would like the macro to search column B to find "Data1", and then copy it down the column until it reaches B13, then copy "Data2" down until B25, where it would then copy "Data3" down until the end of the document. The location of the data in column B varies, and the number of cells with data in column B will vary as well.

it is working fine but the location will be always desktop or documents location

I'll do what I can to explain this mess I want to clear up...I have a series of excel reports I have to download and work thru daily and I need to see if there is a code to autofill down thru a column, based on multiple statements throughout the column..here goes:

f1 msp
f2 msp
f3 blank **
f4 mct
f5 mct
f6 mct
f7 blank **
f8 cci
f9 blank **

Regardless of the actual f cell, I always will need to fill the Blank ** cell w/ the values from the previous cell....Hope this makes sense...& thanks in advance....

how best to do this (bare with me I'm not quite a pro at excel yet!). I'll attach my doc (JMP Excel Forum) so you know what I'm taking about. I've set up the data to work in a similar way to this, as you can see I've a table set up (Appliance Sheet) which feeds information to the Main Sheet which contains the drop down lists.

What I need it to do is autofill the wattage column (Main!F8 onwards) with the wattage for the device as described in Appliance!N3 or N4 for example. For the wattage column to equal 28 (equivalent to Appliance!N3) then the following would show in the dropdown selections Type>Computers SubCategory>Monitors Device>BENQ G2222HDL Status>On

Is there a way to do this with the set up I have?

I did have a previous version of the whole worksheet that each Device had its own table and I looked up the wattage using and If formula to lookup a info on the device and knowing where to look it up based on the subcategory

I really prefer the new way I've got it set up. Its easier to add new information or options to the dropdown list

I have two columns, column Q and R. Column Q has Data Validation set, where you can only choose one of four options in any given cell between rows 2-250,000. When "Complete" is chosen, the cell turns green. Now when "Complete" is chosen in column Q, I need the cell next to it in Column R to auto-fill today's date. However, the date should not update to the next day. So if the cell autofills to today's date, which is 12/6/13, tomorrow, when the date changes to 12/7/13, the cell still reads 12/6/13.

I have a worksheet that has a number in cell K5 - the number is generated on "file open" code and is custom formatted as "TN"0000. Thus 1 appears as TN0001, 2 as TN0002 and so on. I am trying to save a copy of the workbook based on the this cells contents i.e. TN0001.xls, TN0002.xls etc. but the files are saved as 1.xls or 2.xls. The code I am using is

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:="C:DataExcelFORMSDelivery Note" & Range("K5") & ".xls", _

I know I must make reference to format within the above....but how? if try something like

Autofill The List Page

I am creating a workbook that easily allows me to keep track of items and costs. So on one page I have a list of items in one Coloumn - column A eg apples, oranges, banana etc.

On the cell next to them (Column B) are their prices. This page is purely used to list items and costs.

On page 2 - is the easy to fill list page. Theres a drop down list in each cell in column A listing the items on page 1. I have set this up already.

But i need the associated price to appear in coloumn B austomatically.

So when i select apples in column A - their price automatically appears in next to it.

Macro: Check CheckBox Is True, Current Date For Day/Month, Then Sum TextBox & Cell

I am trying to allow the Command Button when clicked to go through multiple conditions before making a decision. So, when someone clicks on Command Button 3 the code should look to see if CheckBox1 is true, then it should check today's date, and if it is between a range of days, or even months, then it would add the number in TextBox1 with the amount already in cell H18. This event will happen every time someone clicks on the Command Button.

The end result is to have several sheets (4 total) for each quarter in the fiscal year, and if the dates are within those parameters, the clicking of the command button will update the correct sheet.

I am trying to generate a list based on the value of a cell. That list will then be used as the range for a drop-down list. Example: Cell A1 returns a value of 15
A drop-down list displays the values 1 through 15. Cell A1 changes to 20
Drop-down list displays the values 1 through 20. I assume I'll need a two-step macro to accomplish this but I can't figure out the logic to populate the drop-down.

Dropdown List Based On List In Another Cell Using Indirect?

I have 3 related dropdown lists that work perfectly, if you enter data from left to right. But, if you click in the cell containing the second list, which is based on the first list, of which nothing has been selected, you can just type any value in the cell. Is there a way to prevent this, or at least validate that what is entered is a value in the list.
