Match Date And Values From Different Columns

I have 4 columns A B C D
A and C have dates , B and D have values
Column A has dates listed verticaly from 7-1-1954 to present
Column C has dates lited verticaly from 7-1-1954 to present but without weekends and holidays
I want to know if there is a way to match the dates and values from columns C and D to the columns A and B, with the objective of eleminating the extra cells that contain different dates?! I need to compare the data day by day and the additional weekends/holiday data makes it not line up!?

I have one excel file which is kind of a database. Now I need to lookup two columns in that file, currently, they are columns A and G, and then copy the value in column H on that row to another worksheet. Because the "database" file is pretty big, I cannot simply go through each row and compare the values. Is there an easier way for this? I checked other posts in this forum and notice other people suggested "lookup" function, but I don't exactly understand that answer.

Here is what I have - Column A has dates that correspond to a given "event", Column B has the hour at which such event occurred, and Column c has the duration of the event in hours.
I want to be able to create a giant sheet where column A has all the dates of a given month, Column B has the hours of the day, and Column C has a 1 or 0 trigger indicating whether an event occurred in that hourly period.

As you can tell, some complications are as follows:
1. there can be multiple events that occur in the same date
2. there can be events in the same date that occur basically at the same hourly period
3. there are some events that go beyond a given date into the next day.
What kind of function would I need to create the 1/0 trigger?

Been a while since I've worked with macros within excel and I can't seem to get what I remember being a basic macro to work whatsoever. I have 2 worksheets containing a massive amount of data and need to pull some cells from one into the other when values in 2 columns match.
To better explain, sheet1 has ID numbers in column G spanning for roughly 1700 rows. Sheet 2 has corresponding ID numbers in column EO. The data I need to copy over is in columns EP and EQ on sheet 2.
So I'm trying to build a macro to compare the values in Sheet1_Column_G to those on Sheet2_Column_EO and when a match is found, copy the value in EO and the adjacent entries in columns EP & EQ over into columns X, Y, and Z on sheet 1.
Couldn't get a VB function together to save my life so I tried working with MATCH & INDEX and didn't get very far either. I've included my current function below.

I have VBA code to perform some actions on data in excel file and then convert all that data into semi-colon separated CSV/text file (code below).
Now, all I want is to add VBA code in the existing macro to find a column header (say, "Application date") and then convert all the dates into YYYY-MM-DD format. The original values in this column don't have a fixed date format.

I have two sheets of data , sheet A and Sheet B.
Sheet B contains a column called "Name" and for each name, and for each name there are corresponding numbers. In sheet A, I have a "list of interest" in column A. What i want to do look through the data in sheetB to find a match from the list of interest and return the corresponding letters, located in column A.
I have filled out the first two rows of results that should be returned as an example.
One idea i had was to put a vlookup formula in each column result 1 to result 6 so i can catch all 6 "Serves" columns from column B, but there may be duplicates in the serve columns and vlookup only reports the first match.

Basically where the columns say 2011 or 2012 AND 1, 2, 3. I want to be able to have it index the number below based on the GL number on the left and both the year and period on the top. I think that you can do with using the sumproduct function with the binary, but the computer is a little dated and it takes a while to run those calculations.

I have four columns of data, as follows:
label 1, value 1, label 2, value 2
I need to create a formula in the fith column that for each line will tell excel to:
look for entry in 'label 1' in 'label 2' if there is a match, then subtract value 1 from value 2, display result.
I have tried doing this with SUMIF but am getting nowhere fast....

I have 2 worksheets in which I have to copy one column of cells from one to
the other. The problem is that the "main" worksheet lists nearly 3,500
clients and I have to copy numbers into the "main" worksheet on weekly basis
from another worksheet that lists only about 1,100 of those 3,500 clients.
Both client lists are in alphabetical order, but I obviously cannot just copy
one column into the other, because then the numbers won't be matching the
correct clients.

I have two columns one is web addresses and the other is email addresses but the rows do not line up. I was hoping that since the second half of the email address matches the web address I could somehow sort them so that the email address column and web address column match up. Here is an example but keep in mind that this list is about 9k long and this is just a sampling so you may not see any in this example that match. Also I may have more than one email address per website.

Now i have one excel sheet with two separet sheets in it ( Sheet 1 ) and ( Sheet 2 ) . I have in sheet 1 a column A with material codes and ColB is discreption and Col C IS Prices . But in Sheet 2 Col D is materila Code and Col I is a price .
the recordes in sheet 1 are around 11000 but in sheet 2 are around 2200 where the sheet 2 has a specific materials from sheet 1 .
Now i want to update the prices in sheet 2 from sheet 1 for each item after confirm that the materila code in sheet 2 equal in sheet 1 so copy the price from sheet 1 to sheet 2
Sheet 2 is old prices and sheet 1 has new prices so i need update the new prices in sheet 2

I have 2 workbooks (workbook1 & workbook2). Information in column A and column N must match both workbooks per row/ cell (ie. if A2 and N2 in workbook1 match workbook2, copy information from 3 other columns (S, T, U from from workbook1 into workbook2 - cells S2, T2, U2). Workbook2 may have information in column S, T, U, but I need to over-write it with the information from workbook1. If the information does not match per that row/cell (ie. A2 in both worksheets are the same, but N2, they are not, so go to the next line that does match and copy the information into worksheet2). I do not want to use a V- lookup for this problem. I really need a marco.

I have .csv file from which the data is importing to master schedule. i have a column in .csv file which is spitted into multiple columns. and my need is i have to compare this each individual cell value with the range of header values in master schedule and if match found i have to place that cell in the row.

Column C5:C9999 & D5:D9999 contains alphanumerical values.
In E5:E9999 i want the result=Column C provided it matches Column D else null.
Ex:

I have a situation where I need to match 2 columns, Data in Column E & Data in Column R.
When there is not a match, there must be a set of cells/row inserted to the right or left depending on which data is missing and the data beneath must be shifted down.
There have been issues with doing this because once a cell is added, the formula for matching does not stay consistent.
I have attached an example where the tab "Final" is the end product needed and the First 2 Tabs are the Raw Data
The Steps are to take the data from the first 2 tabs and align them side beside only being divided by a column and another to match the 2.

I'm trying to create a formula that takes a date in a cell (A1) and compares it with the now() function. If the date in A1 matches the now function then i want to return a 5 and set the colour to light blue (for instance), then if the date entered is a day before now the return a 4 and set the colour to green.
=IF(A1 = NOW(), 5)...... but this just returns 'FALSE' even though the date entered and the NOW() function are the same.

I'm trying to compare values in 2 separate columns to see how many times the same value appears in both columns. Ideally I would be able to insert a range function to compare the values in the column "ID 1" against the values in column "ID 2" and return the count of times that a value appears in both columns. For example 2122, 1112 and 1718 appear in both columns and I would like the formula to return a count of 3.

I'm working with 2 date columns and trying to filter a view to only include projects with dates within 3 months of today's date.
I've attached a current working file of the data and the end result i'm hoping to achieve via a macro of some sort.
I've manually got it to work via formula by inserting 2 additional columns (highlighted yellow) which determine if the dates "YES" fall in this 3 month time frame of "" blank if not.
create a macro which does all of this automatically without modifying any columns if this is possible

based on user date ranges entered on sheet1, I'm trying to write code that will write each month of the date range on other sheets across the 2nd row. at this point I'm getting "object required" error at "Set DateStart = Cells(2, 6)"
I also want the date format to be mmm-yy (Mar 14) on the sheets even if sheet1 has a different format. I tried using sourcerange instead of DateStart, but that didnt work either.
