Minimum Returned Based On Matching Values

I am trying to do a spreadsheet for my boss and one piece of it has me stumped.

Based on same "die name" I need to return the minumum quantity available.

So, in column D i have a multitude of die names. Some of them match for those that match, I need to return in another cell the smallest quanity available in our die bank (column p).

Limit Returned Value To A Maximum/Minimum

Given this formula =(H2+( SUM(K53:DB53))) which simply takes an existing value and adds to it the sum of a series of values. I am happy if the value returned is any number less than 28. However if the value returned from the above formula is >28 I want the number returned to be shown as 28.

I'm trying to copy Rows from a worksheet ("sheet1") in Workbook ("SourceData") to another workbook ("Final") and worksheet ("Regions") based on critieria selected in a listbox ("Listbox" located in a user form in "Final". The listbox selection is pasted in another worksheet, "Steps"). The trick is, the selection can be a single choice (Region2) or multiple choice (such as Region1, Region 3 and Region 7) and I'd want to copy any rows containing the selection criteria. I've got a bare bones start, but I can already see it's going to give me trouble. Here's what I've got:

Retrieving Values Based On Matching Values On Separate Worksheets

Is it possible to have a formula where it will retrieve a specific value on one sheet based on matching values? Unfortunately, hlookup wont work as there are several values in the table where the 'lookup_value' is the same.

Example:

On sheet 1 (titled BSRC), I have a table which has a list of values in column 1. On column two I have the 'lookup value' which needs to be matched and all values underneath it to be retrieved from sheet 2 (titled CSRD). The 'lookup_value' range is on row 9 of sheet 2.

I have attached a sample spreadsheet for clarification.

Matching Cell Formats Based On Matching Cell Values

I have a cell (A1) that contains text.
That text will match a single value in a reference list (i.e. range of cells e.g. Z1:Z26).
When the match occurs (e.g. A1 = Z16), I want the format of the reference cell (fill color, text color) to apply to the cell of interest (A1).
The reference cells are manually formatted.

I know that I could create a long list of conditional format formulas instead of using the reference, but it seems that there must be some way to tell excel: if the cell value contents are equivalent, the formatting should be as well.

Copying A Row Based On Matching Unique Values

I have the following code which takes a unique value from 'sheet 1', and searches for the value in 'sheet 2'. If there is a matching value in sheet 2 it will copy the full row into sheet three.

I need to extend the code so that all values from 'sheet 1' are copied to 'sheet 3' even if there is no matching value in 'sheet 2'. If there is a matching value in 'sheet 2' however I need the entire row to be copied to 'sheet 3'

I have a worksheet with two tabs.

First Tab
Account Name
Account Number

Second Tab
Account Name
Account Number
Account Ship Location Number

On the first sheet each account name and number only appears once.

On the second sheet there may be multiple entries for each Account Name and Number.

On the first tab for each row I want to compare the Account Number column to the Account Number column on the second tab. Where I have a match I need to count how many unique Account Ship Location Numbers correspond.

I am calculating group averages for the following performers - very good, good, average, low, very low - for a series of factors.

Worksheet 2

Contains the same factors with the values for which Im trying to work out the average. Each factor has a performance rating above it, either very good, good, average, low, very low.

I need a formula which will match the performance rating from worksheet 1 (I3, J3, K3, L3, M3) to worksheet 2 and then calculate the averages of each factors based on those matches.

For what I'd like to do, the attached workbook actually represents 2 or more workbooks. The 'Project-PO Report' tab is a sample of what will be several workbooks/reports that will be generated from the data in 'POTASK'.

The 'CMD_BUTTON' tab represents how I plan to use a command button " IMPORT DATA" to import the data into this workbook, then use "RUN PROJECT-PO-REPORT" to call the MACRO to achieve my objective,as stated below. I have IDs in the first column of an excel chart. After that I have three more columns, being date of test, type of test (start, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, finish), and lastly the result for the test.

Right now, the same IDs are listed multiple times for different results, so for example:

27 | 9/27 |6 Mon |7.4
27 | 12/3 |9 Mon |7.2
27 | 3/27 | FINISH |6.5

What I need is the following layout:

ID | Start | Date | 3 Months | Date | 6 Months | Date | 9 Months | Date | Finish | Date

ID is only shown at left, and the values for the test result and corresponding dates are shown in their respective columns.

I tried to do an IF function with a LOOKUP inside, and it worked originally, but when I add more values for the same ID to the original column, it only shows the latest date, and only gives that result.

Multiple Values Returned In Lookup

I have a table where the rows are conditions and the columns are experiment numbers, as an example below:

Experiment 3

The table is fairly large. What I would like to be able to do is use a lookup/formula that will return all the experiment numbers a given condition is tested in. In other words, for a given condition (i.e., Hardness), which columns have an "X". Not sure if that can be done with a lookup or not or if there is another function necessary. I would like to be able to do it without macros though and also have it automatically update if I move the "X" around to different experiments.

Return Value Based Upon Previous Returned Value

We have a product plan, which we are trying to automate. To break it down we have a product number which will consist of several other components parts. In the product plan we are tying to automate showing which components are in constraint to the side of the complete part number. We've tried using VLOOKUP but it only ever returns the first value it finds, whereas we need to show all constrained parts. Have tried to break it down into ranges as per attached, but this is unreliable as the data is drawn from another source, and corrupts the ranges if re-imported or sorted.

Players are as follows:-

One goalkeeper - Top scoring goalkeeper per week
Four defenders - Top four scorers per week
Three midfielders - Top three scorers per week

I need it to find the top scoring players in the above categories and then display them in a specified area.

Cell A2 asks for quantity

i have a formula in a cell:

The first half of the vlookup searches for data and returns a dollar amount if true The second half of the vlookup searches for another data set and returns a dollar amount if true...

Both amounts could be the same, so I cant use a formula based on numeric value

the conditional format must determine which vlookup is returning the result

in other words I'd like to conditionally format (grey fill) if the first vlookup returns data and conditionally format (blue fill) if the second vlookup returns data

Probably have to "use a formula to determine which cells to format"

Exclude Minimum Two Values In Average

I have looked on here and I can find the minimum value in my range but what I am trying to do is find the minumum two values. Or rather, i want to find the average of the remaining values.

If the lowest value happens THREE OR MORE times, i still only want to exclude two of them. Same thing goes if the second lowest happens more than once, i only want to exclude at most two values from the avg.

currently, i have 12 values in my list.

example:

list --> one in each cell going across

25, 50, 87, 56, 99, 80, 81, 82, 50, 100, 98, 99

i have the answer as 83.2 doing it by hand. the 25 and one of the 50s would be dropped and the rest would be averaged.

the macro will track daily min/max values, and keep a count of the times these values occurred in a separate sheet in the workbook.
At first I thought simply setting up a macro to look at a predefined range of rows to find the min/max values, but some days may be missing data; therefore, I need a macro with the logic that looks for the min/max value appropriate to each specific day (which is the tricky part). Below is the detailed explanation of the process.

1)The "Main" sheet, Column A, contains days 01/05/1999 – 01/29/1999 (days are already in numerical value format). Begin in A1 and this will be the first daily value. Find the Max Value in Column D corresponding to the numerical daily value of A1.
2)Once Max Value found in Column D, Column B of same row will have the time the Max Value occurred.
3)Count time Max Value occurred in “Time Count” sheet Column C of corresponding time.
4)Move down to next daily value. Continue this process to last row in sheet.

For example, “Main” Sheet, day 01/05/1999 (numerical daily value 36165), Max Value is 1.1835 found in Cell D12. B12 has the time at 2:45. A “1” is then placed next to 2:45 or C14 of the “TimeCount” sheet. If the next day’s Max Value occurred at the same time, then a 2 would be placed in C14...........................
