Find 2 Corresponding Values & Multiple The Minimum
Look in Column A and find the cell that contains "Std A 1" and the cell that contains "Std A 2".
Compare the corresponding values in Column B, and multiply the lowest value by .2
I've tried using various methods (find, if cell.value.instr) but I keep getting errors. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have 2 columns, A (has the names of employees) and B (has the month in which the employee has a project scheduled). What I’m looking to do is find the latest month an employee has a project scheduled. Note: Employees can have a multiple number of projects so they may be listed multiple times with corresponding months. I am having trouble with large data sets of rents by market: trying to find the peak rent in a time-series, and then look for the next trough rent in time. I tried using the Newsletter 3 techniques which feels like the right direction, but I am not getting the nesting right or some of the parameters in the functions. So, within each time-series I need to find the MAX value (peak rent), wherever that is in the array. Then I need to look to the right of that exact MAX value and find the exact MIN value (trough rent), whereever that is in the array (again, to the right of the MAX value). Find And Add Multiple Vlookup Values
I have run into serious trouble with a file I am working on. I have 12,000 companies (roughly), and each of them appears in an Excel file multiple times (some 1 time, other 18 times) with a few parameters. The big file (about 90,000 entries) is sorted so it looks like below: I will illustrate for 2 companies: Company A 0 200 Company A 0 0 Company B 300 400 Company B 0 50 I need for every company to do a countif for each column on condition that the value is larger than 0. In this case I would end up with: Company A 0 200 Company A 0 0 Countif result 0 1 Company B 300 400 Company B 0 50 Countif result 1 2 However, I need to extend this to the whole 90,000 entries and 12,000 companies and this cannot be done manually. I thought about vlookup but that returns the first entry only, and I have multiple.

Find Minimum Value From A Data Group
I have been trying to solve this problem for the past couple of weeks and I have not been able to do so. I have come to do the operation manually, and it really takes a lot of my time, so if you guys could help me, I would really appreciate it. Basically the problem is this: In column "A" I have what I call point numbers for all the data entries. In column "B" I have the station (or location) at which I vary slightly a parameter (represented by column "E") to give me a value shown in column "D" (the "Z" value, as shown in the sheet). So basically you can see that my station 0 has 11 different "E" parameters (0, -1, -2.62, -5, etc) and each of them has a "Z" parameter (390.76, 390.775, etc). What I am trying to do is to come up with a table that shows a summary of the following: A column with each of the stations (0, 20, 40, etc -- notice that I have some weird numbered stations like 411.89). Another column with the "E" parameter corresponding to the lowest (or minimum) "Z" parameter within the station range. And a final column with the minimum "Z" parameter corresponding to its "E" parameter, which is included in the station range You can see in yellow the way I have been doing this and you can see that it would take me so much time to accomplish the task.

Search/Find Multiple Cell Values On Another Worksheet
I have three parameters that users on my spreadsheet will be using. They will be searching using the 'Brand', 'MPAN' and 'Tariff' fields.I would like to have drop down menu's for then to select the correct search option. I then have another sheet within the same workbook with all the data in it with columns headed of Brand', 'MPAN' and 'Tariff'. It has to be an excat match using those three parameters though. I would like the parameters the user selects on the first sheet to be searched and found on the second sheet, with the figures in the cells next to the search result getting fed back into a set cells back on the first page.

Conditional Count (Find The Minimum Value In The Range)
I am trying, without success, to create a formula that will refer to a column of data and do the following in one step: 1. Find the minimum value in the range, and then 2. From that minimum value, count back “up” the column the number of occurrences, including the minimum value, until a zero is reached. The zero should not be counted. For example, if the values in A1:A6 are 1, 0, 2, -1, -2, 1, the minimum value is -2 and the count would return 3. (i.e. 2, -1 and -2)

I have a table that contains various aspects of information about customer cases, and I want to replicate a user 'picking up' the case by a simple press of a button. Users have access to only one Country, so I want to be able to search a particular column for the lowest value, but check that the Country for that row matches the user's access. Lookup Functions Find The Address Of The Minimum Value In That Range
I have a range of cells (say A1:D8). I wanna find the address (say $B$2) of the minimum value in that range. This command does it but it only works on a column. it does not accept a range spanning more than one column. =CELL("address",INDEX(B2:B7,MATCH(MIN(B2:B7),B2:B7,0))) this will tell me the address of the minimum value.. but in a column... I need a range of many columns. So I tried converting things to a Table.. but it never worked. basically the MATCH command is my problem. It only accepts single-column-ed ranges.

Exclude Minimum Two Values In Average
I have looked on here and I can find the minimum value in my range but what I am trying to do is find the minumum two values. Or rather, i want to find the average of the remaining values. If the lowest value happens THREE OR MORE times, i still only want to exclude two of them. Same thing goes if the second lowest happens more than once, i only want to exclude at most two values from the avg. currently, i have 12 values in my list. example: list --> one in each cell going across 25, 50, 87, 56, 99, 80, 81, 82, 50, 100, 98, 99 i have the answer as 83.2 doing it by hand. the 25 and one of the 50s would be dropped and the rest would be averaged.

Finding Minimum Value Using Multiple Criterias
I have managed to make a work queue and lots of other stuff for the model, but I can't get it to take orders in the way I want it. Each order has a order number (from 1 to 100) and the orders come in almost randomly e.g. 3, 5, 11, 2, 7, etc. What I want to do is to take the smallest available order that has not been processed in. The available orders column and processed orders look something like this: A B C D Time, Available, Processed, Start processing 5 2 0 2 10 0 0 0 15 0 0 0 20 0 0 0 25 5 0 0 30 0 0 0 35 0 0 0 40 0 0 0 45 4 2 4 50 0 4 0 55 7 0 5 60 6 5 6 Zero means no new orders or no processed orders. Now the Start processing column should select the smallest not processed order if previous order has been processed. A have, for now at least, all other problems solved, but can't figure out how to get start processing column check for the smallest not processed order line. I have tried combination of Min and Max functions with If, but it soon requires too many Ifs to make any sense out of it. I also tried the Dmin function, but it wasn't up to the task becouse the model requires ~1000 lines and as Dmin only takes criterias vertically I ran out of columns . So how could find minimum from row one until current row excluding values processed so far and only checking orders available so far?

VBA Solver: Find Minimum Value Of Cell By Changing X Cells With Constraints
I'm trying to use solver to find the minimum value of a cell by changing 5 separate cells. These cells are subject to a set of constraints that are formulae. On top of that I have a large number of these solve's to run (The spreadsheet is creating randomly distributed data to form a Monte Carlo simulation). Therefore I am referencing the formulas using the ActiveCell, Offset() function. For some reason when running this code none of the values are changed. I have had a lot of luck finding what I need from the search areas, and I even found some information on the formula I am trying to build. The problem is I don't understand it and I need some help. Formula To Find The Sum Of Values That Were NOT Equal To My Quoted Values
Trying to find the sum of all cells in the array described in the formula that are equal to the values inside the quotations. I have data similar as shown in the following: A1A11 B2AA1122 C3B22 D4C33 D44 The idea is to add compare the cells of the first column with the third column. Count Rows Meeting Multiple Criteria Of Multiple Values
I am trying to find a formula to count rows that meet multiple criteria, but one of the criteria can be multiple values. I have a list of people with a list of clients that they are responsible for. Each person is responsible for 10-20 clients. Every day I run a report that shows the project worksheets submitted for each client and if money has been awarded or not. I'm wondering if there is a way to count, for each person, the number of project worksheets that show "awarded" in column K. That would mean that I would have to look for, for each person, any of their multiple clients in column B and "awarded" in column K. I am trying to put the formula in D2:D9, as I use A2:D9 for a chart. O1:P79 contain the names of the people and the applicants that they are responsible for. A17:D158 contains the list of project worksheets (updated daily). I used =SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF(B17:B999,P1:P14)) to count the actual number of project worksheets for each person, but I can't figure out a way to modify that to add in the "awarded" criteria also.

Match Value Of 1 Cell To Multiple Cells And Give Multiple Values
Sheet 2 is the problem. I need to match cells e3:h3 whenver the dates change in in cells c5:c9 and then put there result of cells b5:b9 into the corresponding cells of e5:h9. Find Multiple Instances In Multiple Workbooks
I'm trying to search through a group of Excel files for specific values in column B and then copy and paste the value from column C of the same row into the current worksheet if the search term is found. Thanks to some help from turtle44, I can do that if the search term only appears once, but if it appears more than once, I can only find the first occurance. I have searched through te archives and found lots of people asking for the same thing. The common suggestion is to use .FindNext, but no matter how I try to use FindNext, it doesn't give me the results I want. It either seems to find the first occurance again or to find nothing at all. Here is a simplified version of my code, if someone could just explain how to find the second occurance of "Use Code" and past the relevant value into column F of the destination workbook, I'd appreciate it and I should be able to work out the rest on my own. Sorting Values: Find Points With Similar "y" Values
I have x coordinates in column 1 with coresponding y coordinates in column 2. From my data of x,y coordinates I want to find points with similar y values. In my data I have defined groups of numbers, i.e. I have a set of numbers with y values around 30 (+-10), then a new group with y values around 60 (+-10), and so on... Sometimes the groups are not totaly separeted, there could be a few points with y values between 30 and 60. These points can be grouped with the closest group of coordinates (30 or 60). Each group of x,y coordinates could be copypasted in the columns to the right (columns 3 and up). So what I want to do is find a group of coordinates. This group will have at least 40 individual points +-10 from a group mean. The coordinates need to be sorted out from the data and put in seperate columns.

In Excel 2007 can you do a find that contains multiple valued cells? I know you can find one at a time but it takes to long. Example. column A 5963190,7281143,7283188 4559000 7286000 7289696 5963499,5962468 5881017,7281176,4556060 That is my list to search in. Here is the list to find that may contain these values. 7289696 2419888 9741452 7283188 7281176 4997755 If either match I need them to Highlight a different color. I have a long list of checks and I need to find the duplicates, determine how many dupicates there are for a given check (the criteria is if the ENTIRE ROW is dupicated), and highlight HALF of the duplicated rows. Formula- Find Values
I have a series of worksheets that have materials displayed as shown below: Column A Column B Column C Material A material B Material V Material F Total Price 123456 Material C material B Material V Material G Promo Price 123456 I would like to know if there is a formula can perform a lookup based upon the material in column A and then return the Total price in column C. For each material in column A there is a price but only 1 total price for each grouping.

i have in the range (Ag1:an1)the names of the months from january- august)in the range (Ag2:An55) ihave numbers in every cell now in every row for example Ag2:An2 i want to find the values less than 50 then i want to write thier month's names in the cells from Ap2:Aw2 i want to do this with every row from row 2 to 55
