Can a MsgBox have multiple lines?
I want a MsgBox to display the following information in the following format.
Newcastle - You haven't entered the following information
Sales data
4 Weekly Wage
Forecast Sales
How can I create a return / new line in a MsgBox? I'd seen documentation to use the @ symbol to trigger a new line, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

section on its own line.
I have about 180 workbooks which I need to compile into a Master Schedule.
All the tab 1's are different, these feed into tab 2, which the data has the same formatting throughout. The 2nd tab has the same data for A:F 1 but cells A:2 - F:2 down to row 9 are populated from tab 1, therefore different in each. I am trying to get a Master schedule that lifts the data in the fed cells into a line by line spreadsheet?
Is there a way I can get excel to look at a folder, then every workbook in it, the at the 2nd tab in every workbook, then list the cells as described above? I am not after a consolidation of this data, but a full list?
I have this function that works on line 3 and if the conditions are met, the result is 1
=SUMPRODUCT(--(IfColor(B3,$A$76)*(SUMPRODUCT(--(D3D4)))))
Here how it works, if B3 is the same color as the reference cell $A$76 and D3 is different than D4 then the result is 1
I would like this function to work from line 3 to line 60 and return the total of lines where the conditions are met. I'm thinking of a =COUNTIF function but can't get something to work. If there is a simpler way, it's even better. The IfColor is a function I wrote in VBA,

I have a form that when you select from the drop down box and click submit it opens up a message box with the appropriate response however I want it to also return the information from a couple of Text Boxes as well on the same pop up box and some information that is always the same. I am making it display the correct information from the drop down box by a case statement.

I have excel 2007, i am doing scientific graphing via an X Y scatter plot graph. Is it possible someone could give me step by step instructions on how to fit multiple best fit lines. In particular two lines one for the upper portion data and top portion of curve. The second on the flatter bottom portion ultimately intersecting in the left inner portion of graph. the graph plots appear as a rounded L.

I have two sheets that i am working with sheet1 and sheet2.
I need a macro that will insert multiple rows in row 8 of sheet 1.
I also need it to copy the formula from row 8 sheet1 to every new row inserted.
the number of rows inserted will depend on colum A from sheet2.
*column A contains numbers, and the amount of numbers will vary. The data starts in A11 and continues down.
So for example. if sheet 2 column A11 and A12 and A13 are the only cells that contain numbers, then the macro will add 3 lines starting in row 8 of sheet1 and it will also copy the formulas from that row to every new row inserted.
I want to create a chart where I have 5 clustered columns, repeating 4 times(weeks). Each column(total invoices entered per user) has a error rate, which I would like to display as a line graph with markers. In other works, first column has its own line, second column has its own line etc. this spans the 4 weeks. When I create the chart now, ALL 5 the line markers are placed in the same one column. I can not move the line marker to sit on top of the column it is associated with.

Then looks at a different tab and completes the look up.
E.g.

No within the cells C6:G6 i want the formula to only use the highest match
E.g.

So in the first line i want the result to use the number 070031 and in the second example i want it to use 070 for the look up.
I am trying to copy multiple rows (ie: rows that have data in them) over to another sheet on the next available line.
I have the code to go through and filter the data that I want to use. Now I have anywhere from 1-50 rows of data all sequentially together that I need to either copy or move to another sheet ("Data") on the next available line.
I have this code so far:

But this only includes 1 row so I either have to loop the VBA or expand the range to include multiple rows. Both of which I don't know how to do. And that code doesn't work too well either.
I have multiple sheets from 'START' to 'END' as you can see below, the name of the sheets are dates.
I want all sheets to be listed in the 'INDEX' sheet. Every time I add a new sheet between 'START' and 'END' i want the new sheet to be listed.

I import data into an excel spreadsheet where a unique job number may have multiple costs against it. These import as separate lines, repeating the job number.
The data imports on a sheet called 'DataImport'. From that sheet I transfer some of the imported fields onto another sheet.
What I need to be able to do is transfer the job number and a sum of the costs onto the other sheet.
The data is run regularly and I delete all the fields on the DataImport sheet in the macro each time the import is run.
I'm trying to create a macro that will import multiple multiline text files.
I have tried another Macro from this site however that imports the each text file into one cell, but i need each line to be in a new cell and each file to be in the same sheet.
I have many text files ~5000 and I am searching for a macro that can import multiple files and also search the text file only importing two specific rows (error files may will not have 42 rows) while listing the file name in an adjacent cell.
So in column A I would like the file name, in column B any data in line 42 of the text file and in column C any data in line 43 of the text file.
Here is an example of the data in rows 42 & 43:

So far I have found the code below that will import all text files into one sheet but it does not satisfy my requirements.
I have multiple line breaks between text in a cell in excel. I wanted them replace without line breaks. Is there any option to replace this.

And I need them separated like so:

with other items in the row from other columns applied to the new rows accordingly.

I have created three lines between two point.
But if the two point is located at the same horizontal line.
The line cant be produced.

Adding ' in the beginning of a line converts the rest into comment line. I wonder if there is an easy way to convert a huge area into comment line to try something on code. I couldn't find such an option in the menu.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have one row per day of the month in column A. each row has one or more cell entries in column B .... to column (variable) Right now I use a formula =concatenate(B2,CHAR(10),C2,CHAR(10),D2.....) for as long as it has to be, but this has its limits and requires a lot of editing as the number of filled cells for each row vary.
would it be possible with some macro code to manage the variable number of cells and then insert verything, wrapped text, in a single cell (can be cell Bx or a cell in a new column added next to the dates column) As soon as everything is in the single cell, the original data cells can be emtied. I can record a macro but that does not allow me to manage the variable number of cells . a small sample file attached.
