Multiplying YES / NO Dropdown Values With Quantity To Create Total?

i have created this spreadsheet for windows and doors. My only problem right now is that when i put a quanity of "3" in the correct column with frame removal. it doesn't multiply it by 3.

Example:

90x90 = 56.25 sq ft (window) : 3 QTY .. with frame removal should equal $ 855 but its only adding the 1 frame removal so its $785

Frame removal, jamb ext and casing should multiple the value from the table worksheet with the QTY of windows.

Total Quantity Calculation

I have a INDENTED list from a cad software that looks like this.
It gives me the quantaty of each position. For instant in the list

I have 5 of 1.1 but because 1.1 is part of 1 makes my total 3x5=15
I have 2 of 1.1.1 but because 1.1.1 is part of 1.1 which again is part of 1 makes the total 2x5x3=30

POS QTY Total QTY

1 3 3 (=3)
1.1 5 15 (=3x5)
1.1.1 2 30 (=2x5x3)
1.2 2 6 (=2x3)
1.3 1 3 (=3x1)
2 1

My question how to write a formula that automatically calculates the total quantity.

Sum Quantity And Show Total For Each Site In A Table?

I've attached a sample workbook. Data Table 2 on the Data Tables sheet is what I'm after. Basically I have a formula that sums up quantity 1 (Q1) and quantity 2 (Q2) for all widgets at a site name and month. So for example, go down through column site name and column month and add up all of Q1 for site1 in the month of Jun 2014 (all widgets). This works but it shows duplicate totals which makes sense as there are mutliple widget types at each site. I think the example workbook explains it better. Note the Pivot Table sheet is an example of what I'm showing currently and what I'd like to show. While I understand that depending on how I set up the Pivot Table I can get similar results using either Table 1 or Table 2 but the other thing is that my users like to do some filtering of the data sheet itself without regard to the Pivot Tables.

I'm looking to find a way to get the total quantity of parts that are found in a separate list.

Part Number: Sheet "Desired BOM", Col A
Quantity: Sheet "Desired BOM", Col E
List of part numbers to search: Sheet "Parts List", Col A

The column of part numbers on Sheet A is variable, as is the list of part numbers on Sheet2. I have attached an example file, but be aware that whatever method that comes of this will be used with many parts, so the simply using the description to total everything won't work (i.e., matching "2D" or "3D" between lists).

Calculate Grand Total From Multiple Rows Of Quantity And Price / Unit

For this ordering tool, I would like to calculate and present the grand total, starting from a fixed range of two columns (each 10 rows), where one has quantities, and the other has the price/unit. Since I'm not allowed to change the layout of the ordering sheet (we still fax orders...), I can not add a column for the subtotals. Also, not all rows are filled necessarily.

I had some success with this as a worksheet function: =IF(ISERROR(H30*I30);0;H30*I30)+..., but I would really like to have it as a part of a big VBA function, since colleages might alter/delete the worksheet formula.

I looked and messed around with For loops, but I can't make it work.

Basically I have 1 value on 1 sheet and and multiple values on another sheet and I would like to know if it is possoible to mutliply these togther i.e

Sheet 1
100

Sheet 2
2,5,9,15,20....

I would like to calculate (100*2)+(100*5)+(100*9)+(100*15)+(100*20).....

I know if sheet 2 only had a few numbers like above which I have used as an example I could link the sheets; however in my data, sheet 2 is about 75 numbers that change.

Basic Math Sheet - Values Not Multiplying?

I am trying to put together a basic sheet with what I think is basic math, however, the multiplication does not seem to be working properly.

Field 1 is land value, field 2 is total acres. The math I have in field 3 is to give me a value per acre. Here is that formula: =Sum(B3/C3)
I have set the field to a number field with two decimal places.

Field 4 is Total Dry Acres field 4 is calculated to give total value for dry acres (here is where I am having problems) Here is the formula: =Sum(D3*E3)

Here are the numbers: Field 1 = 218702 Field 2: 1536.51 Field 3 (calculated): 142.34 Field 4: 1171.75 Field 5: 166791.54

It all looks good on the spreadsheet, however the field 5 number is not correct.

Break it out on a calculator: 218702 / 1536.51 = 142.34 (rounded)
Now 142.34 * 1171.81 = 166795.44

so working on the calculator, there is a difference of 3.69 between the two.

I have two idential spreadsheets with several rows of items each with different packaging quantities, price break quantities and corrisponding prices next to each break quantity. I'm trying to build a discounting sheet on an idential page by using formulas that read off the price sell in the same relative position on sheet 2. Below is one row of sheet1 and the idential row of sheet2 - underneath the cells are the rules I would like incorporate:

Excel 2010 :: Multiplying By Percentages Based On True False Values?

I have a checkbox where the values are reflected as True/False in a seperate column, what i simply want to do is take the value from one cell, and add 10% of the value each time a value becomes True.

For example in this value column after the check box has been filled out it might look like this:

False
True
True
True
False
False
False

The cell then needs to take the figure, lets say, 100, add 10%, then add 10% to 110, then again and so on for however many "True" statements are in the column.

I have tried with no success with various SUM/SUMIF/COUNT/COUNTIF/IF etc cant seem to get it to work, im not sure the cell refreshes correctly after the checkbox is filled out and its not registering the new "True" value as by default its all set to "False".

Find Most Occurring Values In Column A And Consolidating Each Value Quantity?

As part of my work as an intern, my company wants me to look at all of the office supplies ordered by their retail stores and find out which items are most ordered.

The invoice excel file I received from our office supplier has a column for the Item # and Quantity of that item. However, there are multiple occurrences of each Item # because this invoice is itemized by store. Is there a way to consolidate all of the values in the Item # with each other to remove the duplicates while also consolidating all of the quantities of each?

For example:

The invoice is much longer and has many more different Item #s and many more duplicates but this is more or less the same format.

I used COUNTIF with an advanced filter with Unique Records Only selected but I realized that only gave me the count of the Item #s and didnt factor in the Quantity of each Item # ordered by each retail location.

List Expenses By Categories Dropdown And Then Total Of Each Category?

I'm working on making a monthly expense report with 2 sheets; the first sheet would include each individual expense and the expense would placed in a certain category. The second worksheet would be a summary of the total expenses for each category.

I would like column A to be a drop down menu:

Column A: Expense type (Stationery, Kitchen, Maintenance, etc..)

Column B: Amount

This would continue for as many rows as i need

Then on a different worksheet it would add each item based on its category and give a total for each category.

Excel 2002 :: Running Total With Dropdown Lists?

Basically, I have an excel spreadsheet with different valued items for example,

TV Essential l £15
TV Essential extra l £20

Broadband Essential l £ 8
Broadband Extra l £12

I have options for TV, Broadband and Phone. At the bottom of the spreadsheet I want three drop down lists to pick what TV, Broadband and Phone package I want. For example: TV Essential, Broadband Extra and Phone Weekend. I can create the lists but I was wondering if there was anyway where, as you select the option on each of the lists, a running total will be created. So when TV Essential is selected £15 is added to a cell, say F20. Then when Broadband Extra is selected another £12 is added to cell F20. And as you select different ones in each list the total in F20 changes.

I'm using Excel 2002.

Create Sub Totals And Sum Total

Attached is an example of the workbook I am looking for: A macro will take the sheet "Data" and split the info across into new separate worksheets labelled "SIM","MOR","RED","CAR","EMB". The split worksheets contain the same info as "Data" however the column for "Total Arrears" is sorted as descending and the moment values become negative, there is a 5 row gap to seperate the Positive amounts and Negative amounts in a descending order

What needs to be completed:

I need to create Sub Totals in columns E:K for both the negative and Postive balances (and Label them as "Sub - Total" in column D) as well as have them represented as a percentage, and then after that have a grand total value represented at the bottom. I have attached examples of what the final product should look like for each worksheet (they are labelled in blue)

The problem I have is that I am unsure of how to use VBA to recognise where to put the amounts for Sub Totals. I would assume it would use a .End.xlUp.Row and some kind of Offset, but I don'r even know where to begin. The "Data" sheet has a button that runs the macro to split the data into worksheets, but the worksheets SIM/MOR/RED/CAR/EMB must be deleted first since there cannot be duplicate sheets (which is why there is also a button to delete those sheets)

CreatE A Formula That Would Total A Rolling 90 Day

I am trying to do is create a total of only the last 90 days of entries from a list of $ amounts. Attached is an example. We are going to start keeping track of our cashiers variances but at the top of the sheet we only want to know what their last 90 days of entries equal.

This would be considered a rolling 90 days, so older variances drop off after 90 days, they would still be left on screen but would not effect the main total.

I am trying to figure out how to create a drop down list on one page of a workbook with the list of items for the drop down list located on a separate worksheet within the same workbook.

I have a workbook with one spreadsheet with a list of items on it (sheet1/ingredients) and the rest of the worksheets would have the drop down list of items from sheet1/ingredients.

I have been trying to use the validation method with no luck - I just can't seem to get the source path right.

If possible I would also like the drop down list of ingredients to be self updating - the ability to continue to add items to the list and show up in the drop down lists.

When the value in the drop down window is selected I would really like / need to have the data populated in the rows to the right of the drop down window.

While asking is there any sort of auto complete so that one can start typing in the box and the ingredients that start with those letters show up to select from? (Such as if type EVA or EVAP --- then all words starting with EVA or EVAP appear instead of the entire list?)

We've got a dropdown box (data validation - list) which is picking up data from a specific column. The data in the column is in the following format:

1 Sales
2 Contracts
18 Opening Stock
27 Purchase
etc

When we select an entry from the dropdown box the cell obviously displays both the number and the text description to the right. What we need it to do is just display the number after selecting an item from the list. The text is descriptive and to make it easier for users. Is there a way of configuring the dropdown box (or another way) so that say if a user selects "1 Sales" from the dropdown it just displays "1" in the cell.

How To Create Dropdown Checkbox List On Each Row

I would like to know if there's a way to create a checkbox list in a cell that influences other cells:

For example, I would have column A as "Materials Accepted", and each cell would have a dropdown list with the options "Wood", "Drywall", and "Metal", in checkbox format. Then to the right of that, I would have each of the Materials as actual columns so that column B is "Wood", column C is "Drywall", and column D is "Metal".

The way I would want it to work from there is that whatever options I select from the dropdown, it would then put a TRUE flag in that column. So if I select "Wood" and "Metal" on the dropdown checkbox list, columns B and D would both read TRUE on that particular row.

Basically on each row, I would select a number of Materials, and the following columns for those Materials would populate TRUE for the ones that I selected on that row. This was just an example, but I would scale this up to around 30 Materials for hundreds of rows/entries.

Attempting to use INDIRECT function to create dependent data validation list (Type). The tricky part is that the drop down options are dependent on the values of two (2) cell values (Brand and Country).

I have used the INDIRECT function before but dependent on ONE cell value only.

Create Dropdown List By Selection

I am trying to create 2 drop-down lists (based on named ranges), where the contents of the second selection change based on the first selection. On one sheet, I have a list of equipment that is quite long, but is broken up by categories. I have named ranges for all the category names, and the equipment in each category. On the other sheet (user side) I made the first drop down the list of categories, and would like the 2nd drop down to be the pieces of equipment that correspond with the chosen category. I have tried using data validation and nesting IF formulas, but it only works for the first 4-5 categories, bc my formula is longer than the Source field allows in Data Validation. Any other way I can make this work? Can I use a macro for this? If so, how to write it as this would be my first macro

Create Dependent Dropdown With Dynamic List?

I need to create a 2-stage dependent drop down list.

Stage 1:

In cell G7 (on a tab called 'Data'), I have created a drop down list based on a range name called 'Region' .

Stage 2:

In cell G8, I need to create a drop down list which is dependent on the value chosen in G7.

Problem is, I will need to create a dynamic range name here which needs to vlookup or match the value from G7 in a dynamic list of data (the data is on different tab called 'RCA Data' and is spread over columns A:E with row A for headings - the data will go down an undetermined number of rows)

Every time the value in G7 matches a value in the 'RCA data' (the potential matches are stored in column

D) I need the corresponding cell value in column C to be added to the dynamic list. This list then needs to be available to choose from a drop down list in G8.

I am trying to create a drop down list for a table of contents that can link off to other pages within the same work book since it is very large and difficult to navigate through. I can create dropdowns were the lists it draws from is hyperlinks and that doesn't do anything special. It is just like drawing a regular list. I want the drop down when I click on something, to link me over to the other sheet.
