I have column A and it has 1000 rows, every row has a number in it, from 5000 to 5200, meaning that some numbers are presented multiple times in column A.
I need to lose repetitions, so every number is in the the table only one time and then I need to convert this one long column into, for example, 9 columns, so there's no wasting of space and have only one column in every page, if printed out.
I am looking to split multiple different entries in a single cell into multiple columns and repeat this for all rows
Example (I have the below in a single Cell as column headers)
NCM Server Mgmt VLAN Site ID
Next Line down is the data (Each row in a single cell)
Enabled 10.10.10.0 50 TEST SITE 1
Enabled 10.10.20.0 50 TEST SITE 2

How I could achieve this as I have a number of projects where this would become useful
I know you can use delimiters but with spaces between the values I just can't fathom a way forward.

I have a data array of 7 col and 256 rows. I want to focus only on the first 2 columns though. Here is what is going on. In the first column I have numbers from 1-256, these numbers are merged to the appropriate size to accommodate the data in column 2. However, the data in column 2 is not merged, it consists of 1,2, or 3 lines of text. Excel deletes the text in the rows below 1 if I try to merge, excel does not allow multiple row merge selections. What I am looking for is a formula that looks at column 1, finds how many rows are being merged in column 1, then looks at column 2 and identifies the number of rows needed for merging and displays that text in only one row. Basically, it's a formula that merges multiple rows of text in col 2 depending on the number of merged rows in col 1.

Want a single count of multiple columns based on the columns selected value. Data is in text format.
Have tried multiple COUNTIF statements and have tried using pivot table (Excel 2010) both only give me total counts for all. I think I need an OR statement somewhere, but not sure where?
In other words, if a single record has an "any" in the any fields or a "yes" in the yes fields, I want to to count that as one record.

I have an excel workbook with 8 worksheets. Each worksheet has vertical columns (approx 250 columns per sheet) of numeric data. Is there a function or macro that will combine all of this data into one vertical column without having to individually cut and paste each one into the new column?

The code I currently have allows me to search for one text entry in the column and then copy and paste all those entries into the next worksheet. There are 5 different text entries I'd like it to look for but can't figure out how to do it. I have a work around by using wildcards, but then I have to write another macro to delete out the ones I don't want.
Where is says "DNA - weapons", I'd also like it to allow for "DNA - paternity" and a couple other options.

The spreadsheet contains over 21,000 rows of data, and one of the columns (D I think) contains data as in the two examples below.
What she wants is to split this column at the semi-colons ( and have the column header as the "field" name.
Unfortunately not all the cells have the same number of "fields" as you can see. Some don't have an "addressLineTwo" while others also have "stateprovince".
Is it possible to split the column so each "field" goes into it's own column?
Please note that if a "field" is missing there is not two semi-colons to indicate an empty field. I'm also fairly certain that, between them the two examples below show all possible fields.

Didn't there used to be a "Split" function that split text over two cells? I'm sure I used it years ago, but can't find any mention of it in Excel 2003.

It is very important that the output of the data goes on a new sheet, and that the records maintain integrity.
I have two worksbooks both with a big load of (filled)columns, now i want to copy the columns from the first workbook between the columns of the second workbook, the only thing is that in the first workbook the columns are nicely put together, i want to copy them in the second workbook but here they must me placed 7 columns apart from eachother. This is because the other columns are already filled with other data I need. Is there some way to do this.

Sample file attached. How do I combine the data in columns B-E into column A? Obviously in my sample file you'd use a simple cut/paste but my actual file has hundreds of columns and rows so cut/paste isn't an option. I need to move all the data into column A.
My starting point is a big data set that needed to be validated by several users. I split the data set into smaller sets that were sent out. All users have filled in the same column called "Input"
What I would like to be able to do is to paste their input into a single column on my original data set and keep the name of the input next to it. Is it possible to paste without overlapping prexisting data ? Something of the likes of F5 ("Select blank cells/text") ?

I have a spreadsheet that calculates data in multiple columns (A:AN) and each column has 27 rows of data called "Sheet 1". As it stands, the spreadsheet goes out very far. On "Sheet 2" I would like for all of the data in "Sheet 1", columns A:AN to be "transposed" to "Sheet 2" in column A only. So, column A on "Sheet 2" would have the data from "Sheet 1" A1:A27, B1:B27, C1:C27, so on and so forth. I would like for the formatting to maintain the same order as well.

I have a list of data that is currently separated into 5 different columns with a heading. Each item in the list is given a score 1, 2, 3, 4 or N, which is then placed into the appropriate column for that score.
What I want to do is to place the data in another sheet in the same workbook in a single column list separated by the labels from the columns in the first sheet, without any blank rows.

I try to convert multiple datablocks to a new worksheet and make the adress blocks ready for further sorting and removing actions. The Excel I use is Dutch and i hope that i make my question clear. What I want:
copy each adressblock to another worksheet, put the initals as well as the beginning in a seperate column and delete the unnecessary comma's. Each adressblock is identified by a number in colom A. When a new number is shown, excel has to start a new line to fill. finally,if possible i like to extract the adress line into seperate colums of "street+numer", zip and place. Some adresblock have more than onder adres, if possible i want excel to ad these information in the 'extra' colums.
I am trying to move information that is pulled from a database to look cleaner and easier to read. All of the information exports out into column A only. The attachment is a brief example of what it looks like, and what I’m trying to get it to look like.
I want to move the data in col A to 5 columns C through G in groups of 16 rows. Once the last column is filled with a group of 16, it needs to fill below the first group of 16 in column B onward to column F. It should repeat this process until there is no more data in A. Taking the words in any one cell from each of the columns in order from A to F will form a complete sentence each time. I need a solution to display all unique possible combinations in column G.
The number of rows is different for each column. A successful result in column G has to include cells from all columns (A to F).
I searched this forum and found a few analogous questions/solutions, but nothing close enough for me to apply to my case. I tried using a concatenation formula, but I have to manually edit the formula in each cell to get all unique combinations (and that would mean thousands of times). If I just drag the formula down it will increment all cell rows instead of one cell's row at a time.
