Paste Values To 1st Blank Row Of Column In Different Worksheet

I have a template with data only in column B, with fields going down the rows. I'd like to copy B2, B4, B6...B24 to the next blank row (so the values need to be transposed to a row vs. column) in a Consolidated Workbook. Here's what I have so far:

NextRow = Worksheets("Sheet2"). Range("A1000").End(xlUp).Row + 1
For a = 2 To 24 Step 2
Worksheets("sheet2").Cells(NextRow, a / 2) = Cells(a, 2)
Next a

Except that the formula above pastes the first value in column B of sheet2, any ideas on how to get it into column A? Worksheets("sheet2").Cells(NextRow, (a / 2)-1) = Cells(a, 2) gives an error. Also, instead of sheet2 in the same workbook, I need to paste the data into sheet2 of a different workboook (i.e. Main, located in My Documents.)

Insert Blank Column And Copy/paste Values

I'd like to have done is to have a blank column inserted between columns W and X(these values change so the VBA statement should reference the end of the columns) and the values that are now in column Y(April 17th values) pasted as values into the now empty column X. I would like to do this for tabs Ann-Sheet 2. I'm having a bit of trouble with setting up the loop that would go through the desired sheets.

I have a little bit of problem with lookup function. When i paste values from another worksheet (paste special, values) in a cell which is lookup value i get #N/A. These values are numbers. When i put '7 for example i get the values i want from lookup table. I have a lot of these cells and its tedious job to put ' in front of every value. Is there a quicker solution?

This should open my file, find the relevant data and copy it to the worksheet that contains the macro. At present I can have it paste to the first cell however in future the first cell will have data and as such i need it to paste to the first blank cell in column A. any ideas on how to do this, do i need to get excel to scan from the bottom cell up until it finds a cell with data then paste below it? if so how do i do that.

Copy Non Blank Cells & Paste As Values To Another Range

I'm trying to copy the non blank cells in an area ("B120:K239"). and special paste (values only) to the next blank row of the actual work area (3 pages) within the worksheet. The area that this needs to paste to is between("B10:K29, B44:K63, B78:K97"). Problem is that if there are more rows to be copied and pasted then there are open rows on the first sheet it gives an error due to the rows outside those areas having different formats (merged cells and that)

Question: Is there anyway to special paste between ranges? I've tried to hide the inbetween rows and that still doesn't work. Could it be possible to add something to this code to ignore hidden rows or to only paste to visible rows?

Associate 2 Column Values In 1 Worksheet Then Export Values To Similarly In Next Worksheet?

The Room ID values in Column A are associated with the Room values in Column B. I'm trying to move the values in Column A Room ID to Column G Room ID by having excel look up value in Column C Room or Area #, compare it to Room, associate that with Room ID and automatically fill in Column G Room ID. There are 1000s of these so it's not possible to do it by hand.

I attached a picture where i had 2 different workbooks. In reality, I'm working off of 2 worksheets within a workbook.Excel Question.jpg

I am trying to create a sub that:

1) Copies the values of a worksheet/group of worksheets from one workbook and

2) Creates another workbook titled as Today's date (i.e., Workbook_011512)

3) Pastes these sheets into the workbook and

4) Deletes a specified row (i.e., if Column A says "cat", delete that row)

5) Reformats in the same alternating pattern as before (this sometimes gets messed up when the row gets deleted).

My data is formatted with alternating colors in a couple worksheets, and looks kind of like this:

dog 1 2 5
dog 1 2 3
cat 1 2 2
dog 3 4 5
Median 1 2 4

dog 1 4 6
giraffe 3 5 6
cat 3 6 2
Median 3 4 6
etc etc.

Copy Worksheet And Paste Special Values

I have a perplexing problem. I created code to copy a worksheet that has the correct page setup and then copy/paste special to get just the values, not the formulas from the master sheet. It works standalone - the copied worksheet after doing the paste/special just has the data along with the master sheet's original page setup. When I include the code within a For Each... loop, it only copies the worksheet and I get the formulas. What is different between the two approaches that would cause the loop code to not do the paste/special values?

This needs to be done via VBA from a button. There are 35 rows and 9 columns linked to another workbook and they don't always have values (depending on source workbook). To cycle thru each row and copy if they have values and paste them to end of last used row on another sheet.

I have data in some of the cells within range A26:A39

These cells are populated via an IF function on another worksheet. Even though the cells appear blank (as in the value returned is ""), there is a formula in these cells. I think it's called formula blank?

I am looking for a way to copy the data from the cells within the range which are not blank (ie: not = "") and paste this data elsewhere on the sheet in a list with no blank spaces in between.

I anticipate that there will be 4 non blank cells within this range.

Ideally I would have data from the nonblank cells copied and pasted to cells

I have three sheets in my excel workbook. In second sheet, I have a simple If condition that checks to see if new items from Sheet1 meet a condition (eg, if startdate from sheet1 = today()). I am trying to copy the cells from column A and paste the values in my other sheet. I want it to append after the last cell in column A of my sheet 3.

I have four worksheets with columns for different months (including future months) with a mixture of values and formulas. What I need to do is to be able to copy....paste values all the data (excluding the cells with SUM totals) which relates to a column which is less than the current month date. In other words, if today's date is the 15th May 2006 for instance, I need all columns relating to Jan, Feb, Mar and Apr to be copied and pasted as values in the same cell they are currently in. If the date was the 26th June 2006 I would need this to occur for the columns relating to Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr and May only. Hopefully you are following my logic? FYI - a formula for the current date is stored in another sheet.

I have attached an example sheet for you to have a play with. If any questions please let me know.

I have a data set with the weeks of the year as my column headers and a value of 1 (from a pivot table) in a distinct row value (removed for privacy) showing whether it existed in a given week based on pre defined criteria. What i need to do is ID the first (from the left) non blank cell in each row and then return that cells column header. I then need to do the same for the last (from the left) non blank cell in each row and then return that cells column header. On the attached I've put values in column N and O to show an example of what I need to return using a formula.

I know it's very simple; I'm obviously a beginner. What I would like to do is to have an input box prompt me and then take these values and paste them into columns. One value for each column. Ideally what I would like to have happen is for the values input into the inputbox to be pasted to specific cells. I have attached an image for reference. The beginning of the range B10 and C10 will be fixed but the ending cell range B14 and C14 will be variable based on the number of entries; essentially one less than the total number of forms on row 15.

I am working on formatting a spreadsheet report where the values will change in column A. Here is what I would like to do via a Macro. Compare the cells in column A (e.g., compare A2 to A3, compare A3 to A4, and so on). If the values between the two cells in column A are different, insert three blank rows and set the active cell to the next cell following the blank lines. Example:

if cell A5 is different from A6, insert three blank rows below row 5 and new active cell is now A9 and the comparison would start again. I have been trying to code the macro for this but with no success. Here is the macro I have been working on.
