Populate A List Using Credentials From A Linked Column

I have 2 columns in FINAL list: A product number and a price. The product number is full, the price one isn't and it's the one I want to fill. I have several other TEST lists with the same two columns, and both are full. I need to have excel check to see if a value in the product number column matches one in the FINAL list, and, if so, to copy the corresponding price value from the TEST list to the proper corresponding place in the FINAL list.

The list is over 1500 records for each
I was wondering if there is a way I can fill in the region and country columns automatically -i.e. through a script or function or macro based on what is entered in the town row/ field
e.g
Town= Cheltenham
if the town is Cheltenham, I would like the corresponding region column to pollute with glouctershire
I have tried using functions such as:
=IF(A3="CHELTENHAM","Glouctershire",IF(A3="LONDON","LONDON",IF(A3="Leeds","Yorkshire",A9)))
but as I have over 1500 towns, the error message comes up in excel stating the formula is too long- I think it is limited to 255 characters or so

I have a command button that opens 5 windows when it is selected. Each window asks us to enter the username, password and logon to in order to sign on...thus, we have to do this a total of 5x manually.
If possible, I'd like for the aforementioned fields to be entered using VBA code, so when I click the command button, all 5 windows open with the login infomration already entered.
For examples, sake, lets say the usernmae is ABC1234, the password is Password and the Logon To field is Alliance. If this is possible, how would I code this?

I'm trying to make a spreadsheet that can be used to easily build a collective list of steps, for a user to read and follow line-by-line.
I want a source sheet of "steps" that I can change over time, and the resulting tabs that reference the source sheet get updated/populated automatically.
I've pieced together some VBA code from other sources, which kind of does what I want it to:

But there are some problems:
1) The data auto-populates into a row. It would read better if each step was in the same column, meaning rows would need to be automatically added upon selecting something from the drop-down list. The number of rows that need to be added vary based on the number of steps in the source sheet, for the selection made from the drop-down list.
2) If you make a change to the source sheet, my goal is to have the other sheets referencing the source sheet's lists of steps update automatically, so you only need to update the steps in one spot and everything you've built from them gets updated instantly. Currently, you must select a different choice from the drop-down list, and then change it back, before it populates the "new" steps from the source sheet.
This is my first time using VBA.

I would like to make one drop down list work with another. Is this possiable?
For ex: IF I have a list car companys in one list, I would like for me to select a certin brand in one list and all the models of that brand appear in another.

I have a list of movie titles A3-A9999(Infinity), their disc numbers in B3-B9999(Infinity). The titles being written in text, of course.
All I want to do, is have another list, in the same sheet in D3-D9999 that will be the same list as the original list that I input movies onto, except alphabetical and automatic from when I type in the movie title in the original list. When i just use "=A1, =A2, =A3 ~~~ =A999" in the D cells, then try to sort, it only sorts by the cell numbers, not by the actual text that I want it to.
Is there a way to do this? I know excel relatively well, but I'm definitely a noob compared to experts.

I have a list of names in column A with monthly budget figs next to them in columns B,C,D etc. At the bottom of the list there is a total spend summary on line 7. This spreadsheet is then pasted with links to a separate worksheet (see example)
If an additional name is added to the list in Row 7 in the original list, the total is now in row 8 - how do I ensure that the linked sheetl picks up this addition?
(I have a project where I am drawing data from numerous worksheets. I have paste linked them as tabs to a summary worksheet so that funtions such as SUMIF can update when the file is closed or open)

I'm creating a spreadsheet to keep track of my costs of production in an online game. Within the game there are a range of spawned resources that appear for only a short time before being unobtainable these resources have specific types that is shared between multiple spawns of the resource but each resource spawn has a unique name.
My first worksheet lists all the resources and their various qualities and the later worksheets are meant to allow me to choose from a list resources matching the requirements of the item I'm looking to craft. The example i have shown in the second picture requires Tatooinian Fiberplast and Lokian Wild Wheat to craft so in the Chosen Resource column I would like to have a drop down list allowing me to select the named resource type i would like to use - for Tatooinian Fiberplast the only thing on the list should be Omnitwixi and for the Wild Wheat it should show Fizi and Krad

I created a spreadsheet with several combo boxes that that is linked to other data.
When this data is sorted, the values in the combo boxes are automatically changed.
Is there any way to prevent the the values to change?

I purchased the Excel Hacks book, and when attempting to do hack #53 with a drop down list, I can not get it to work. I do exactly what the book says to do, however, my chart and my drop down list are not linked together, and when I change a name in the drop down list, the information on the chart does not change.

I am attempting to put a drop down list using "Data Validation". I can get it working when my list is on the same sheet (sheet 1) and the column of cells I want the drop down list to show up in....(you know..when the drop down list shows up in each individual cell)......BUT...when I put the list on another sheet (sheet 2) and try to do the "Data Validation" back on sheet 1, excel won't let me go highlight the list on sheet 2.
I even tried writing sheet2 and the range and that still doesnt work.

I have a worksheet in which Col. A contains the names of London boroughs and col. B contains the name of each Ward in that borough. I'd like to create a list (or combo) box showing all the London boroughs, and a second list (or combo) box which will show all the Wards for the Borough selected in the London list (combo) box. I'd also like the option to be able to select all the Wards for the borough selected so that they can be used in a chartgraph.

i have a list in a database which is populated by a textbox on a userform. the list is money. i want to keep a running total which is then recorded in a textbox on a user form. when i have tried to do this the total does not drop down so i cannot populate the list.is there some code i can use to do this or do i have to drag the total further down the column.

The difficult part is that there is text in column A, and is linked to the numbers
So if numbers are sorted the names should be sorted in the same way as well.

I have an Excel sheet and I want to populate a list in sheet 2 from data that I will include, little by little, in sheet 1 (I send this information by e-mail, using Excel). With this i want to create like a log to keep a record of what I send every time.
Sheet 1
Document 1
Studio xx
Word count500
Language Spanish
And I just want to have in sheet 2 the following information

I don't need more but I would like to add a new document every time and be able to have a log in which I know the word count that corresponds to every document so that with time I can have as follows in sheet 2:

I have been trying to add a button to do this, but it didn't work the 10 times that I tried.

In column A, I have the following items (chair, table, bed, sofa, wardrobe, shelves, etc) and these itmes apprear more then once. I have named the range as "product".
I want to use the same range to create a list under data menu (Data / Validation / Allow = "List" / Source = "Product") , apparently since the items appear more than once in the range the same gets populated in the list.

how to make a certain type of date automate. It's kind of hard to explain, but basically, I'd like to make it so that when I enter a date in one column, another column will automatically populate with the 1st of the next month. For example:
If I enter 4/26/2009 in the 1st column, column 2 will read: 5/1/2009
If I enter 1/19/2008 .................................................. 2/1/2008
Also, it's very important that if the FIRST date is already the first of the month, then the second column will read the same. For instance: If I enter 3/1/2009 in the first colum, the second column will ALSO read 3/1/2009.

I'm trying to write a simple VBA code to loop through values in the range A14:A138 and based on the value (of a possible four values) in any row of that range, populate the adjacent column in the same row with a conditional result. For example if A14 = "Cat", then B14 = "I"; if instead A14 = "Dog", B14 = "II", etc. If there is no value in column A, the result should be blank (i.e. "").
I believe are in coding the destination range since I can get it to work for just one cell in B! Below is my code that is not working...

I have values in COlumn A, probably about 50K rows, The total unique values on the column A is only about 27. I need to capture all those unique values and paste them in column B. I didn't want to do "Advance filtering" since the workbook has many macros's on it that the user simply click on. Im thingking of creating a loop and compare values already pasted in Column b but then that will take too much time to complete the loop. Is there any easier or yet more efficient way to accomplish this?.

im trying to create a spreadsheet for different makes of cars, here is what i want to do.
in cell one i want a drop down list for various makes of cars, in cell 2 i want another drop down list for the different models from that manufacturer (depending on which on I choose in cell one), in cells 3 and 4 I want different information depending on the make an model of the car. I have got 1 sheel with all this info on it but I dont know how to make it all work nice and neatly with drop down lists.

I have been using this formula in my report for a while now and i have just updated the table at which it looks at. The table consists of 3 columns - store, store number & division. The value at what vlookup looks for is the store and i have sorted this alphabetically.
But now when i choose the store from a drop down list i get nothing populated in the cell with the formula!!!

I have form with a list box lstEmpName which is populated from a sheet "Records" range a1:a35. This is in the UserForm initilize sub.
When a name is selcted I want the corresponding payroll number (found in Records range B1:b35) to auto popuate the txtPayroll box. I've had a go at some code but it's not working in the Userform Initialise sub and I don't even know if this code would work.

I have three sheets. A raw data sheet, a sheet of formatted data, and a third sheet with a list of invoice numbers.
I've already developed the code to format the raw data to the formatted data sheet. What I need is to populate the third sheet with the invoice numbers I've used, and not use the data from the data sheet if the invoice numbers are on the sheet with the list of invoice numbers.

I am trying to find a way to populate a column based on the changes in the data of another column...
For example, I want to fill in the code column....so when the customers cost changes, I want a numeric code to populate & change. So for the first 5 lines, the code could be 21, and then when the cost changes to $37.51, want the code to change to 22.
