I have the following formula:
=IF(ISBLANK(H16),"",IF(H16="Car","Ca",IF(H16="Boat","Bo")))
Where I would like it to return a Blank cell if H16 is blank. However it always puts False in the cell because there is a Vlookup that is hidden H16. Is there a way I can make it return as a blank cell instead of false.
I have the following formula,
=IF(AH10="","",IF(VLOOKUP(AH10,Sheet3!C:D,2,FALSE)="","",VLOOKUP(AH10,Sheet3!C:D,2,FALSE)))
that I would like to return a blank cell not N/A if the value that is in "AH10" is not found.
Where in this function would I put " " to return a blank field if false is returned?

How wud I find out the total number of rows in a column, that are non blank? Value "False" and N/A are considered as blank cell , but a cell with --> one or more space " " is allowed.

Some of these formulas have been previously overwritten with a random number that would delete the formula from the cell. I have to leave the overwritten values where there is no formula, and replace the values of the formulas where they are still intact. I assume that if I can identify whether there is a formula in the cell or not, I can choose that cell to skip or update.

in one column of my spreadsheet and it is returning the correct concatenation for the appropriate lines. However, I wish to have the column's cells return an answer of blank (" ") if B15, B16... etc is blank. In other words, at the moment, a correct answer would read something like '1810sd0000' C10 and B15 used, while an incorrect answer would still display '1810', but I want it to be a blank cell.

I am using concatenate to create a list of bottles based on other data, so that each cell contains a different combination of bottles.
The problem is that the list appears but there is also FALSE for every bottle that doesn't relate to that cell.
Is there a way to create a formula such that nothing appears if it is not true?
And is there a shorter way of writing what I am after, I can't quite finish the formula becaise it is so long.

Why do I get a FALSE statement with this formula when T50=1, i want it to be blank.
In the estimate form I have attached, I want it to auto figure shipping by placing a X in front of shipping type. Which it is doing but how can I get it to show $0.00 instead of false when no X is placed in front.

I have a master spreadsheet which shows agreeed rentals for vehicles, on the sample this is the "OCS" tab. I receive a spreadsheet which contains the actual rental charged, in my example this is the tab "Invoice" in my example the VRN are in the same order on both sheets, in reality the invoice spreadsheet is not in the same order as my OCS sheet. Below is the forumula I am using. The problem is, when the condition is false, it puts a "0". This then effects the conditional formatting as well as the count function at the bottom. I need it to just leave the space alone when the If statement is "False"

I am using the "IF" formula to pull in data into a forms section. I then save the forms section as a CSV file.
When the IF statement returns the "false" value, it is looking to pull over a "blank" cell. When that happems, a "0" pulls over. I tried to put a "" in the blank cell, but while the output of the formulaa looks "Blank" when I convert the tab to CSV, the output is a quote mark ".

I'm trying to do several things. I have 6 columns (A:F) with column headers and 12 rows of data and not every cell has a number as its content. Some cells are blank. I have attached my file.
Using Row 2 as my example:
1.) I want to return the contents of the FIRST non-blank cell in the range (A2:F2) in cell I2.
2.) If I2 is not blank, then I want to return the column header (text) which corresponds to the resulting number content of cell I2.
3.) I want to return the contents of NEXT non-blank cell in A2:F2 in cell K2.
4.) If K2 is not blank, then return the column header (text) which corresponds to the resulting number of K2.
I will then repeat the 3rd & 4th scenarios in columns L thru S.

In sheet2 I've many numeric value.
In sheet1, A1: =Sheet2!B12 which returns 0 (zero) though B12 of sheet2 is the result of =sum(B1:B11) i.e 660. But if in sheet1 A1=Sheet2!D12 or any other cell in sheet2 instead of B12, A1 gives correct result. That means cell A1 itself is not a problem. I checked format of B12 which is number format.
