Save One Worksheet From Workbook

I have a save button on a user form that saves a workbook

But what I would like to do is save just "sheet1", and not the whole workbook, using ThisFile as the name to save it under - where I can choose which directory it can go in. I have tried to modify the code to get the desired results but I can't seem to crack it. Can the above code be modified to do the job or am I going to have to start from scratch?

I have a sheet full of data.All this long I had written the code to save the selected cells as a PDF.But now I want it to be saved as a separate file. In this case, I believe, first the VBA will have to open a new workbook. Then copy paste this sheet onto one of the sheets in the workbook . then save the .XLM file.

How to copy the entire worksheet into a new workbook and save the file to a specific directory with the following filename format ("exceptions191011 - ie. the word exceptions followed by today's date in ddmmyy format).

I have excel contains multiple sheet. I want to save all sheets as in different workbook in specific folder.
e.g. Workbook "Report" has 3 worksheet i.e. A, B & C By running macro all 3 sheets should be saved as different workbook on "C:Report(folder)"

I have a workbook with a worksheet named "Report"... this sheet and it's macros generate a report from data on another sheet. I'm adding a button to copy the (filled) Report sheet to a new workbook, rename the new sheet in the new workbook "Rep[Name]", then save and close the new workbook. I've recorded a maco of me doing these tasks manually, but what's recorded seems very generic, and does not seem to specify what's really occurring...
For example (in part);
> Rightclick on the Report tab
> Move or Copy
> To Book: (new book)
> [x]Create a Copy
> [OK]
yields:

Sheets("Report").Select
Sheets("Report").Copy
End Sub
This recorded macro does not specify (new book), or Before:"Sheet1" as was the result of my actions... and when replayed back, only makes a copy in the active workbook, before the active sheet...

I have a file consisting of many sheets. I need a macro that saves the file as a normal excel file, that is just a normal save as function. This I have. But then I also want the macro to save one of the sheets as a .txt file. This is what I got from reading this outstanding forum. But this saves all my sheets as seperate .txt files

I have an expense report, which was originally done in Excel 2003. It still prompts users to open as read only however if they select no, they are not prompted for the password, and it has allowed them to save, so when the next person opens it, they have the previous person's report instead of the clean workbook. I have tried everything to put a password onto it. I know this is really basic stuff, but maybe I am missing a step? I want the end user to be able to make all the changes they want in read only mode and then do a save as, but if the select No when prompted "Open as Read-only?" they should have to put a password in.

I have been trying to edit a code which previously saved a copy in a new workbook to a specific folder/path. (Additionally it copies and clears some figures, but this is working as it should.)
However I would like the copy to be saved at the same location as the original workbook, regardless of the path the original workbook is saved.
I.e if I need to move the workbook containing the code to a new folder/location, when using the macro, the new copy should be stored in the same folder/location as the original one.
For now it is only saving the copy into "My Documents"

I'm trying to find a way to save a single sheet of an excel workbook and in the same process delete all vba code and shapes from the new single sheet workbook. I was looking around and found this code which does save only the single sheet to a new one sheet workbook but doesn't delete the vba and shape that I have used to assign macros to in the original.

I have two workbooks open. I need to "Save As" and close workbook 2 with a file name from a cell in Workbook 1. The macro is running from workbook 1.
I'm guessing a change in the last line. I don't know what Dim means either.

I have a spreadsheet that data gets exported to from a software program. There is information such as customer name, part number, inquiry number, etc that I'd like to use to develop a log of all my estimates I create for parts. I'd like excel to take the cells I select and insert them into certain cells in the other workbook and automatically save that workbook. This will create a log of all my estimates where I can then link the full estimate to the log. The information will have to go in the next available row. Is there any way I can accomplish this without having to open the other workbook and save the work book each time?

Need VBA code to save column J of open workbook called LmbcAcctsPayable.xls, Sheet1, to same workbook & sheet called LmbcAcctsPayable.xls, Sheet1, when save is not selected.
Reason: The workbook is usually not saved because it is more of a templet with names in column A. Column J is updated with a date when a row is used so I need the column J to copy automatically to the blank templet when exiting without saving (using ThisWorkbook.Save = True in Auto_Close). That way, rows not being used for a long period of time can be periodically eleminated.

I have code that i use to copy a worksheet of information in one workbook to a worksheet in another workbook. All i need is some guidance on how to copy a second worksheet from workbook 1 to a second worksheet in workbook 2. Should be fairl straight forward.
In the below i am copying the sheet Phone_data to a second work book sheet also called Phone_Data, i would like to include in the same proccess a sheet called Sur_Data from workbook 1 copy to a sheet called Sur_Data_R in the second. All the other features like find next empty row also apply.

I snagged this code out from another project I wrote, and it works fine in that one, but doesn't in the new project.
What I want, is when the person presses the exit button, it will save whatever was done, its running as a form printer and database. The code below is the code for my exit button.

I have a Sub SaveFile() in a standard module and a Sub in ThisWorkbook module that will call that Sub; however, I have another Sub CopySheet() that I would like skip the Sub SaveFile(). The reason I do not want the Sub SaveFile() to run is because I am making 19 copies of the first sheet and I do not want the user to have to click "Yes" 19 times. How can I have Sub Savefile() ignored when I run Sub CopySheet().

I was able to get some code to save an existing worksheet to a new workbook. However, when a duplication file name exists it prompts me to save as and if I click 'No' I get a debug error message. I'd still like the 'save as' message to come up but is there a way I can get eliminate the debug error message if 'No' is clicked?

I have created a user form (UserForm1). When I click the submit button I would like (after it has completed various other commands) it to save a worksheet "Invoice" as a PDF.
I know this is possible, however, I would like the filename to be pulled from:
A field from the UserForm1 we will called "PlotID", and a cell I have created that displays the current year and quarter, on the "Invoice" sheet "U12".
So the file created would be called "Invoice - [PlotID] [U12].pdf"
