Stop And Restart Macro(s) Programatically

I've got a series of macros in place which, essentially, download several CSV files into a temp directory, then opens each and copies the data into a single workbook (one sheet).
What happens is that the some number of the sheets don't actually open until the macro stops. I've tried using the wait (Application.Wait Now + TimeValue("00:00:10")) and sleep functions, but it's not quite doing what I want.
What I'd LIKE to do is have the macro actually STOP processing for 10 seconds, then proceed (or start a new macro).
I've also tried putting the wait behind a button in a userform, which is non modal... the csv files open until the user clicks the button.

I am trying to pause a macro on a protected sheet, select 2 adjacent cells (initially protected), utilize an existing drop down box to select a name from the list, copy the name from the list into the range of cells, then re-start the macro.
I had no problem when there was just one name (see John Smith below). I tried to use the InputBox command but needed to actually type in the name.

I've written a macro for work that will work with our billing process. After part of it has run, I'd like to pause it for the user to check a column for errors and possibly update a table to get rid of those errors, then after those errors are fixed, have the ability to continue with the rest of the code. I tried to make a message box to remind the user to look for the errors, but it wouldn't allow me to click anywhere except for on the buttons.

When I run the following code, if "If exists = True" then I want the routine to start again at the very beginning. Currently, 'as is' it re-starts at the beginning but enters a loop on itself; I understand why this is but it's not what I want but can't get round this! How do I make the "If exists = True" condition (if true) restart the routine - ie call AllNEWActions() without then going into a loop on itself? NB: I can't use "Exit Sub" (see it commented out) as I don't want to exit routine, just restart it.

I have a macro that runs when the workbook opens. At the end of my macro I've added a Yes/No box. If 'No' the workbook closes without saving. If 'Yes' I would like to restart the macro. I can close it ok, but I don't know how to restart the macro from line 1 when 'Yes' is selected. Here is what I have:

my excel sheet runs through a lot of calculations, opens Flowmaster, a simulations program, passes on data, receivs data and so on. Is there any way to have a user input to stop the whole simulation. During the first tries I had a lot of break point in my debugger. But now I want to have a button to hit or better just some keys to hit to stop it without using the ctrl+alt+del which closes everything.

I have a series of files, all named sequentially by date, for example...
Sales Report - Week of 2009-07-27 - NH.xlsm
Sales Report - Week of 2009-08-03 - NH.xlsm
Sales Report - Week of 2009-08-10 - NH.xlsm
...and so on. (The dates are always Mondays.)
I want to get the contents of a particular range on the previous file (e.g. the "RaceResults" range a.k.a. B4:B33 on "Sales Report - Week of 2009-08-10 - NH.xlsm")

Is it possible to change the value of an Excel checkbox (from Forms or Control Toolbox) under program control (i.e. using VBA)?
I'm trying to toggle a group of checkboxes on a worksheet from FALSE to TRUE (or back again) using a single button. The checkboxes all have to remain individually selectable by the user even after 'toggling'.

I am trying to distribute an app that uses MSCAL Control. I am including the MSCAL.ocx file in the setup file and it saves it to a dierectory. However, when the app runs it will not load the activex Control (MSCAL)

I use comments to supply various detail information on the value in the cell. This might take 10-12 lines of comments, but only the first five appear when you hover over the cell. In order to see the entire comment you have to right click and edit then manually resize.
Any tips on how to resize at the time the comment is loaded so no manual intervention is required?

I have several buttons I and a chart I want to make invisible and visible
programatically. The buttons have names like Button65, etc. I did not
give them these names. Curiously, these buttons don't have properties when
I right click on them in design mode as do other objects. Why not?
Further, they act more like rectangles drawn from autoshapes in that I can
assign a macro to them, but unlike a rectange they are not named as
rectangles (e.g. rectangle 284). Why not? These are hybrid creatures!!
I like to use rectangles as command buttons, but then they do not have
properties which allow them to be made invisible, etc...
The chart name is Chart 1. Same problem, it has no properties. How can I
make it invisible?

the macro's that i want to stop running, are all single macro's which i activate with only 1 button i created.

If you run it now, ctrl t, it produces letters and changes alphabets as it hits a yellow box. If i change or add a yellow box, the letters change fine. The macro works perfectly, but instead of inputting the range or K3 to what ever, i would like to to run this macro and stop once it sees the row with the sort number of 4. ( this changes row postion depending on which sheet im working on, this is the problem).

I have a spreadsheet containing a macro to automatically sum values from week to week and display the max/min and average. This is almost fully working. The problem I have is the macro copies the sum formula down the page and doesn't stop at the last row. It always adds one or two extra rows. The formula should stop at row 77 however this does not happen and therefore the sum keeps going. Which in turn, distorts the max/min figures.

I'm trying to create a macro to input information into a cell then repeat until the information stops.
So say I have 10 rows of information that fill up A1:D10. in E1:E10 I'd like a macro to insert some data into E1 then go to E2 and do the same until the end and then stop. So since A11:D11 would be blank the formula would just stop.
I actually work on 100's of cells a day and this is for a bigger project I'm trying to put together or I would just drag.

I have got he below code in "thisworkbook" it works fine but I have a problem with it if it has been closed before the time expires. If it is closed it tries to reopen it and then close it again. So for my users who have got their security set to prompts the file will be closed and a message box appears saying "enable or disable Macros". If it is already closed than i dont really want this to happen. My security is set to low but i still see it flash up and the bottom then dissappear again. How can i get the Macro to stop if it has already beed closed??
