Transfer Array Into Chosen Range

i write a micro. Just transfer the array into the excel table, but i do not know to do it. The question is that: Once the array has been filled,ask the user for a location to output it. when this has been obtained and verified then output the table. Provide the row and colomn headings and a suitable title fot the table.

so, ask the user for a location to output, what code can be used. if use
set range=application.inutbox(prompt,,,,,8), the user can choose the range, but how transfer the array into the choosed range? and the range choosed is not equal to the array, how to slow it?

Is there a limit to the size of an array that can be transposed in Excel '97?
The following works with an array size of 1000 by 4 but not 2000 by 4

Transfer Array To Range Of Comments

trying to speed up run time of legacy app, learned that setting a range = an array is a better strategy than manipulating cells one by one, no problem with this approach on cell values but getting errors trying same approach with comments as follows:

Range(Cells(lRow, lOrigCol), Cells(lRow, lCol)).Comment = aRowComment

I get the runtime error "Object variable or with block variable not set". When I try to append .Text to .Comment, I get a compile error.

aRowComment is an array of comments. I saw a post on doing this from range to range but cant find anything on array to range.

Transfer Chosen Items From Multi-Select ListBox

I am trying to create a data entry form with a text field and a listbox. The list box is populated by another sheet and the text box will be used to enter names. I need to be able to enter a new name, select multiple options from the list box and then click a button to add this info to a sheet in excel.

I have read about changing the list options to allow this etc - the problem is I can't get the results to go back into excel - all I get is a name with nothing from the listbox.

I'm using array variables to hold the table data and now I'm trying to use this data held within the array to produce a database.

Loop Within Array - Transfer Selection From One Slicer To Another?

I need to transfer selection(s) from slicer Country to Country1 (they cannot be connected due to workbook functionality).

User can make a single or a multiple selection in the country slicer.

So basically using CUBERANKEDMEMBER I got the output from slicer Country (in cell A1 for now) and used it as input in VBA for slicer Country1

I have to use VisibleSlicerItemsList as it is an external data source (so cannot use ActiveWorkbook.SlicerCaches(Slicer Name).SlicerItems(Slicer Valuel).Selected = True/false)

Now, when user chooses 2,3 or more countries, they will be in cells A2, A3, A4... etc.

So, if the user selected 2 countries I would need to run a following code:

ActiveWorkbook.SlicerCaches("Slicer_Country1").VisibleSlicerItemsList = _
Array("[01_Feed].[Dosage].&[" & Range("A1"]", "[01_Feed].[Dosage].&[" & Range("A2"]")

Now, is there any way to loop this within the array, how many cells it should take?

won't work because then it only takes the last value, so I kind of have to loop it within the array.

I've got a Combo Box that I want to be able to attribute Hyperlinks to. I would like to be able to select one of the options from the Combo Box and have the Hyperlink fire automatically. The conditions are:

Workbook Name: Floor Plan
Combo Box Worksheet Name: Switched 2
Input range: 'Combo Box'!$A$1:$A$4
Cell link: $CU$80

Drop down lines with corresponding Hyperlink Named ranges:

I want to do is to use a listbox userform control to navigate between sheets. Each listbox item is the name of a location, which can be dynamically created/added (by other means). Clicking the listbox item activates the corresponding sheet.

however, depending on the user-mode of the application, if the user navigates to another location, then they must return to the location from which they navigated. here's an example to make it clearer

0) user form initializes, populates Listbox = ( Loc1, Loc2, **Loc3** ) {asterix means 'selected/highlighted'}

1) user clicks 'Loc1': sheet for loc1 is activated; repopulate Listbox= (Loc3) {as must go back to from where user came}

2) user clicks 'Loc3' to return to last location: sheet for loc3 is activated; repopulate Listbox = (Loc1, Loc2, **Loc3**)

i have gotten it all working fine, except that for some reason in Step #2 (the return to initial sheet & items) neither.......

Copy Named Range Chosen From Drop-Down & Paste To Last Row

I am a trainee dermatologist. We undertake allergy patch tests. There is a long list of different patch tests which are selected based on the patients history. I have put each of the types of patch testing on a master sheet. What I would like to be able to do is to have a control button next to each set, and when clicked would add that particular set to a "new patient" worksheet tab. And with every set having its own button, more than one set could be added to a new sheet. In the new patient worksheet id like the sets added with a single row gap between them.

I had tried, and managed to get a single series to work, but then it wouldnt allow me to add the next set, saying that sheet already exists. Ideally finally, id like there to be some way, or message to make sure after printing the new patient worksheet gets deleted.
I hope that all makes sense ! Even if I had a code for a single button that added to a master sheet at the next available row +1 I think I could manipulate the code to suit.

Open Chosen File, Copy Range & Paste Into Workbook

I'd like to know if it is possible to run a macro in a workbook that will open another workbook (of the users choice) extract data from it, such as columns from its sheets then paste that data into the workbook the macro is running from. The file to be opened will change, so i've found some code that enables the user to select the file to open then open it.

This brings up the standard windows choose file to open box, then opens the selected file. Am I correct in thinking that the Dim here will store the file name I select in the open file box? If so, I'd like to know how to select the workbook using the dim so I can manipulate it from the workbook I'm running the macro in. Incidentally, once the the data has been copied, I'd like the workbook opened with the macro to be closed.

I've attached a workbook which contains two sheets:
PAYM
DEVICE_PAYM

Data is updated on DEVICE_PAYM each day with the figures I need located in column "AN". I need to be able to copy the data from "AN" and paste it into a column on the PAYM sheet. The destination column on the PAYM sheet needs to be specified by inputting a specific date - ideally, I would like to use the calendar Add-In as part of this process. I've already input some code for the calendar but am unable to develop this further so that it finds the correct date column and pastes the data across from the other sheet.

I would appreciate someone having a look at this one.

Here is a screenshot of the sheet with the userform entry:

What I need to do is enter a number in the user form and when I click the Transfer button, I need to Copy the cells from the 4 digit number to the next 4 digit number and Paste to A1: on Sheet 2. In the image above, that would be A7:C13. This file will eventually contain data from A1:C1000

Also if it would make it easier, I could have a row of blank cells between each set, or a row of text or whatever to indicate it is the end of the set.

Is There A Macro To Transfer A Row Of Data From Top To Bottom Row Of Range ?

I have a s/s encompassing over 350,000 rows.

Data consists of a series of ranges from columns A:N and rows varying in number between 3 and 30.

There are two blank lines between each range of data.

Each range is (with exception) numerically ordered down column H (e.g, 1, 2, 3, etc).

Problem: there are around 1100 occasions when a range contains a row of data which is to be disqualified from consideration. On these occasions the data always appears in the top row of the range and is identifiable in column H by the nine codes 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888, and 999).

I wish to find a macro which will :

1. where the top row of a range in column H is one of the codes 111 to 999, transfer that row of data to the bottom of the range.

2. delete the now empty top row from which the transfer was made from.

3. insert a new blank row at the bottom of the range below the row which the data was transferred to (in order to maintain the two blank rows above and below each range).

I have a range of data that is compiled from various cells that I have named as Range1. I then have another named range - Range2 which should be items selected from range1 and copied into range2. This is to enable other work to take place.

I have created an example userform with Range 1 shown but do not know the code to copy it over using a command button. Range 1 should not change. Also vice versa if possible i.e. remove the selected item from Range2 with another button.

I have created a Listbox with 300 products in it - The user can only select a maximum of 10 of them - these 10 products then need to be transferred to another worksheet beginning at the range B13 and ending a B22, Once these have been transferred the product number (eg 1 = Meadowmin 12) is then linked to a vlookup allowing further information of that particular product to be displayed.The vlookup is working

I have tried to use the Ozgrid sample (ListBox Transfer,xls) - works until the range B13, but does not continue to put the other 9 products below my first choice.

This is currently the code I am trying to work on. It keeps on counting 13 rows and then adding the product, it must count only to first 13 rows and thereafter remaining product below one another (max of 10)

I have data in a spreadsheet that I would like to send to another sheet as follows:

Use the values in the range $D$2:$D$12 and $F$2:$F$12 to reference the column and row of a cell and the values in the range $G$2:$G$12 to reference a specific group of cells on another sheet into which would be inserted the value found in the range $C$2:$C$12. The best I have come up with is to place a formula in each of the cells in the second sheet that would state:

IF a value in the range $D$2:$D$12 matches the column # of the current cell AND IF the corresponding value in the range $F$2:$F$12 matches the row # of the current cell AND IF the corresponding value in the range $G$2:$G$12 matches the region of the current cell THEN the value of the current cell EQUALS the value of the corresponding cell in the range $C$2:$C$12.

I think this will work but I don’t have enough knowledge of Excel to write this formula.

I have a table that looks like this:

All of my values are within the Range "A1:C2"

I would like to have a variant array which contains the addresses of this range.

Things I tried that didn't work:

If my variant is V and my range is R,

v = r returns an array which contains
fu|bar|lab
rab|uf |luv

V = R.Address gives me
A1:C2|A1:C2|A1:C2
A1:C2|A1:C2|A1:C2

What I actually want:
A1|B1|C1
A2|B2|C2

i know this can easily be done with a loop, but the table I want to use this on is huge, and a loop takes hours to execute.

Hi all, starting this as a new problem because it's so far different from what I was originally talking about; but this does relate in part to my previous thread.

Anyway. I'm trying to set an array to set Range objects so that I can define each one as a seperate With block. Here's what I "know" when starting out.

I developed the following. I keep thinking it should be multidimensional but my sleep deprived brain came up with this instead. The problem is, it's throwing a 1004 Method "Range of object '_Worksheet'" failed at the With statement.

I am trying sort a bunch of different ranges. So I am trying to use the same sort code but run an array of ranges through. This code is for only two ranges
CA3:CD200 and CF3:CI200. I want to pass the ranges as variables through the sort code but I cannot get it to work.
