USERFRM To Load Second Workbook For Compare

In a previous post I found how to tranfer data from 1 workbook to another workbook, but its hard coded. I been working on a userfrm to load a workbook (WKb2) then do the data tranfer. As the bottom Hard code not good as workbook2 name changes each release (7 days).
I would like to know how can make upper Userfrm code below of the path, Have it provide the WKb2 value for the cod eat the bottom. I know it easy and must be over looking something.

I need to do a macro that will open a search window, the user would select a folder and it will search for a .csv file within it. Then after locating the file, it would automatically load it into a specific sheet in the workbook.

I have a set of old and new values that I need to compare.
We can assume that values in column X are the master values and values in Column Y are subordinate to column X
For example
Yesterday's values
x y
abc 1
def 2
ghi 3
Today's values
x y
abc 1
def 4
jkl 3
So first i need to find out that GHI is no longer available, and second that the amount for DEF has changed from 2 to 4. Hopefully this makes sense if not let me know and I can provide a sample spreadsheet or the like.

I have a workbook with two worksheets
worksheet a holds the following information
column a - employee number, column b - distribution number, column c - account number associated with the distribution number.
worksheet b holds the following information
column a - employee number, column b - check number, column c - distribution number, column d - account number associated with the distribution number
what I want is a statement that will do this:
in worksheet b, take the employee number and distribution number in row a and find the row in worksheet b that is the same, then compare the distribution numbers to see if they match.

i have 2 workbooks attached, in the "work order masterlist 2006.xls" workbook, i'm trying to compare column F which is the R date to see if it matches the dates in the "2006 Calendar.xls". if it's the same date, i would like to copy from "work order masterlist 2006.xls", column C, which is the Client's name to "2006 Calendar.xls" under its appropriate date, assuming that:Dates of the months will not change column/row in the "2006 Calendar.xls"it will be an added bonus if i can copy and paste the description as a comment...

Im working with a huge amount of data in BOOK1.xls and once or twice a week I received an update of the list.
1. I need to compare and find out from the new updated worksheet if there is a new revision, and if there are new documents added to the list. I have tried Vlookup..but it didnt work for me. Ex. Doc1 has revision 1, 2 in my BOOK1 that I am working on. Note that there is a repetition of the DocName, Doc Number except for the revision.

If i have a string of information in 2 workbook and I need to check if the details in column a in workbook 1 has a duplicate entry in column b in workbook 2 and if there is a duplication, then highlight it in both workbook. How can I go about it to create the codes so that I will be able to use it for different workbooks without changing the codes every now & then?
Scenario: -
Monthly invoice verifications for a few vendors.
To verify info from the manual invoice againts the auto invoice (2 different workbook for each vendor)
Need to verify info from Column A in Manual invoice against column B in Auto invoice. If there is a same data in both column, then data to be highlighted.

I have two spreadsheets in different workbooks ( workbook 1: sheet 1 and workbook2: sheet1), here i need to compare column 5 in Book1 and Column 5 for all cells, say X is the value we are looking for..
X occurs once in book1 and might occur more than once in book2..so if a match occurs ( that is once the code checks that there is X occuring in both books in columns 5) it should copy all rows in book 2 where X occurs to a new workbook 3 in sheet 1 and also it shoud copy entire row data where X occurs in book 1 sheet 1 . But this data from book 1 has to be copied at the end of row after the data from book 2 has been copied.
if X occurs 4 times in book 2 , then 4 rows have to be copied in book 3 and then data from Book 1 where X occurs only once is copied 4 times at the end of the data from book 2.
this process has to repeated for all cells in columns 5 in book1 and column 5 in book2 .

I am trying to create a macro that will compare several un-formatted workbooks and copy just what I want to a workbook of my one.
I start by having 2 different workbooks opened ("Main" and "Change") side by side like this: 1.jpg
Then i run the macro in my "Main" workbook and it should appear an Userform like it showed in the image below: 2.jpg
This is so that i can manually fill the user form with the correct columns by looking at the excel file, for example:
Ref=E3;City=G3; Data=I3.
Pressing Ok, it fill the "Main" workbook with the matching information so it and closes the "Change" workbook.
At the moment my code is in this stage:

Creating a macro to compare 2 sheets in a workbook and print the differences to a 3rd sheet.
Each sheet will have the same number of fields, 5 columns with the header in the first row.
All values in the cells are integer except for the last field which will be a character.
The key is the value in the 2nd column. If it's not in the other sheet, then it's a new record. If it's a new record then highlight it a color depending on what sheet contains the new record. Now if the key is the same in both sheets, then check the other columns to see what's different. If there is a difference, print the record for both sheets in the third sheet and highlight the differences. I attached a sample of what I want.

I have this piece of code that loads a list box and it has worked without 1 problem for the longest time.
Today, there have been 4 or 5 instances when it doesn't work, where I hit the load button and it does nothing.
I have closed down and restarted and it seems to work but this is very annoying

The problem is it's not saved into the userform it self.
How can i make it so that when i choose a picture it's also the picture i see the next time i open the userform.

how I can pass a value to this function. For example I know the record id that I want loaded, it is 42, so I want to create a button that brings up record id 42 when clicked. I think to do this I would load the form, then call cmbSelect() and pass it Me.TextBox1 = Value "42", but I am not sure on the syntax on how to do this

I created the csv file from excel sheet. Now I have created a copy of that excel sheet in a new sheet, and I am trying to load that saved csv in the new sheet. But when I do that I see some cells formatting mismatch (can be seen in attached picture) though I clicked on preserve cell formatting at the time of import.

i had a file with 10,500 lines, 18,000 kb and it seemed slow to load (about a minute) every time i made changes and then saved it or reopened it.
so i broke the file up into 3 smaller files by cutting and pasting. i deleted all empty lines and columns beyond the file content. i defragged my compter. i cleared all excess format in job history - but -
one file now has 3,900 lines, 22,300 kb and takes 4 minutes to load.
one file now has 2,000 lines, 20,100 kb and takes 4 minutes to load.
one file now has 4,900 lines, 14,500 kb and takes 1 minute to load.

I have a checkbox with a userform. I can get it so that if I enable it and add data then it correctly shows as "Yes" or "No" within excel. However if I open the data using offset the checkbox is greyed out with neither Yes or No. Is there a way to make the checkbox allow and show a value of Yes/No?

I have a Macro that copys all the cells with a 9 digit number in a range and lists them into col CC
However the way it is written Each macro is stored into its own worksheet. the problem is that i need to do this for all 43 tabs in the workbook which means a lot of copy and past when I build a new workbook.
So is there a way to load 43 diffrent macros into the 43 sheets in vba?
Or is there a way i can make the macros Global? so that they can all be stored in the same place but still work?

Using some custom VB code to put the filename of the document into a cell.
I save the spreadsheet and load it up on another computer and all I get is #VALUE.

I have created some user defined functions and have associated them to a custom category. To simplify things, I wanted to add these functions and the custom category macro to an Addin I already have installed for all my employees. How do I get the the custom category macro to excecute? It should run as soon as excel is opened...but I am not sure what event should be used and where is it installed?
