VBA Copying Unknown Amount Of Rows

I need to know the function to copy an unknown amount of rows. After a certain row it should copy everything.
So like after row A6 it copys every row below it with data in them then I want to paste it in another worksheet. I dont want to just do
Rows("6:65000").Select
Selection.Copy
If someone could point me to a good site that explains alot of useful VBA commands that would help me alot. Most of my problems come from just not knowing the full function names.

To put this simply, I have a spreadsheet that has 2 columns on it with multiple names and numbers on it. We'll say ABC and 123 as the example name and number. When I type in ABC and 123, I have it where it appears on the next page.
The question is that if I want to duplicate it onto the next page, how do I do it? In other words, I want to create a 3rd column with which to add a number of times I want the numbers and letters to appear. For example, I write| ABC | 123 | 5 | and ABC appears on the next page at a certain start point and is copied 5 times in certain cells. The same happens for 123 at its own start point.

I've been working on a spreadsheet and these forums have been a great help. I'm now at the very last section and, surprise surprise, it's also the hardest!
I'm creating a stock trade recording sheet. I have a userform ask the user to enter a date, a time, the number of stock purchased, and the price of the stock. These are then entered in a new row.
Now what I want to do is have summary cells which say how many stocks were purchased and the total profit made for each day. Since each time is given its own row, I can't know in advance which rows to sum over. I also don't know on which days a trade was made. So a summary cell should only exist if a trade was made that day.
Could I do something like.... check if the date matches then sum over all the values for that date? So if column A has the dates, can I say "Search which rows in column A have this date" then "for those rows, sum column C"?
Also, how would I create a a row for each traded date's summary cell and enter the date in it? I've attached a spreadsheets which manually demonstrates what I want to do (no macros) and a spreadsheet with what I have so far (basic macros).
Any and all help much appreciated, I just need to get my head around creating and dealing with variable ranges. Is that a really advanced task? I don't think this is a one line solution so please bear with me while I make mistakes!

I am trying to come up with a macro that selects values from one sheet and inserts them into another sheet. The number of values will change each time based on the user's entry, as well as the number of times that each entry should be pasted.
For example:
Entry: X | Y | Z
Number of Times to be Inserted to New Sheet 3 | 2 | 1
Result:
X X X Y Y Z
I have spent a while trying to figure it out, however the best I can come up with is using an array, but I can only get one value from the array to paste multiple times:
(*Note: In my testing, I didn't insert into new sheet or set up the array to handle different values, I was just trying to get the basic idea to work)

A(1, 1) = Range("C3").Value
A(1, 2) = Range("D3").Value

I am working with 2 workbooks the first one "LH Enrollment" is used to enter information for new students being enrolled in the program. After the information is entered the macro is then copying the information to the second workbook "LH Children Records". The part I'm stuck on is that I now need to sort alphabetically by last name which is entered on Sheet 1, Column B of "LH Children Records". The number of columns will stay the same but the number of rows will change each time a new child is added. Eventually all this information gets copied over to several other workbooks, but I'm stuck trying to sort. I have attached both workbooks

I am trying to find a way to combine two worksheets with identical columns and an unknown number of rows. Both sheets use columns A through K.
I want to add a new sheet called "Combined orders", then copy data and headers from Sheet1, paste it to Combined orders, copy data only from Sheet2, and paste it on the row after the last row of data from Sheet1.
Sounds easy but I am easily confused by the unknown number of rows in each data set. Can someone please help?
Also, are there a few lines of code that I can copy and paste into new macros that will make the unknown rows problem easier for me in the future? (i.e., instead of just showing me the code, can you also please explain the concept behind it so I can learn for future reference?)

In the code below, a formula is placed in column F to compute the total of that column. I first find the number of rows and place the formula in the cell below it. I'm dividing the sum by 2 since there are subtotals in the column.

The problem with the code is that I don't really know that the last row in the column is F308. I need to replace that part with a variable. It will be something like this (which I know is incorrect):
Worksheets("Report").Cells(NumRows, "F").Value = "=SUM(F9:NumRows) / 2"
How would I use a variable in the SUM function in place of the cell names? Should I even be placing the formula in a cell, or should I compute the sum in the macro and place the value in the cell?

I'm working to build a macro to help clean up data I download out of our company's online resources. I know that the data will run from column A to N but the number of items (and thus number of rows)will change. I need to sort all used rows except for the last one (which containes totals and I don't want to include in my sort). So right now I'm just trying to figure out how to select from A3:NX, where x is the row above the last used row.
What I've managed to find so far on the forums is
Offset("$A$3", 0, 0, (Match(9.99999999999999E+307, "N:N", 1) - 1), 14).Select
which I think should find the last row in N to have a number in it, minus 1. However I'm getting a compile error that function or sub are not defined. (seemingly refering to the Match, but I'm not sure).

I need to make named ranges from an unknown number of columns(at least 1) each with an unknown number of rows. Each column has the name of the named range as the first row, and then a variable number of rows containing part numbers.
I can do it 1 by 1, but id rather do it in a loop so that blanks dont cause errors. there will be different people using versions of this sheet with different model/part number information What i've tried: Count number of colums with row 1 containing data (11 max, which is more than will ever be used) add into array(I know i dont really need to add into the array, but i might use it later for some other code). The problem i'm having is finding the range of rows that need added to the named dynamic range and adding it.

This gets me the range i need, but doesnt create the named range properly. If i go to insert>names>define, the named ranges are created, but they dont relate to the data in any columns. It shows the variable names rather than the cell range the variable represents.

Say I did a search for Joe. I want to report back all the addresses in which he resided but there's no way to tell how many rows of data each person has. Joe has 2 rows, Danielle has 4 rows and John has three. How do I report back all the relevant rows?

I have been using this macro to separate lots of rows with a certain amount of blank rows.

I trying to change it so that, instead of inserting how ever many blank rows, it just copys the row above.
Example (Row A to C)
I have been messing around with macro recorder and i could select each row and paste it into the blank rows, but from researching on the internet selecting and pasting data seems to be a waste of resources (ram?) and i will be running this on a couple hundred rows (lots of data). Also, i would like to keep the functionality so that i can still choose how many times it copys/inserts each individual row from a input box.
I eventually want the data to end up like it is shown in the table but i am takin it one step at time because i want to understand what the code is doing.

I have a table which contains a list of branches eg;

I then have a spreadsheet which contains a number of columns and rows.
I want to create a new spreadsheet in the first column it will contain the branch from the table above then the rows and columns in the above spreadsheet
The rows and columns would then repeat for each of the other branches in the table. IE if I have 4 branches in my table and 100 rows in my spreadsheet my new spreadsheet would contain 400 rows

I am trying to summarize some of my data. I have attached file with Sheet "Data", and how it should look in Sheet "Result".
1. If on two rows content in A, B, C, D match exactly, to copy them on sheet Result
2. Also Copy E5 (it will always be the same if the first four cells match, need to include it only once)
3. Also Combine all F cells together with ; (first entry is Develop and Second entry is Test - then in Sheet Result it will become Develop;Test)
4. Also Sum the amounts in G
5. And then Copy all other rows that don't have exact match
There might be 3-4 rows that have exact match on A, B, C, D.

I need a formula to calculate the amount due based on cumulative sales once a breakpoint amount is reached.
Example:
Breakpoint:
cum sales are > 500 pay at 3%
cum sales are >1,000 pay at 2%
month/ sales/ cumul sales/ amount due
jan/ 100.00/ 100.00/ 0
feb/ 600.00/ 700.00/ 6.00
mar/ 600.00/ 1,300.00/ 18.00
and so on...until the end of year.
I tried using an if formula by could not get it to work.

I have a problem with a data set that I'm working on. Basically, I've got a data set that was downloaded from a weather station. I need weather data like average temperature, maximum temperature, minimum temperature for each day over a 90 days period. This is simple enough.
The problem, however, is that the weatherstation has been sampling every 5 minutes. In the data sheet, each day is represented by 12*24 rows of data (12 samples per hour times 24 hours). The total dataset across all days is something close to 26000 rows!
Of course, I can spend hours doing all this by manually by average(), min() and max() and then selecting the cells I want it to apply to each time, but the thought of doing so makes me wince. I would have to do it 90 times per column across hundreds of cells each time and I'm after much more than just temperatures.
Is there a less labour intensive way of doing this?

I want to create a macro that will copy and paste a couple seperate collumns but the problem is that each month, and each invoice, contain a different amount of rows so I can't "record" a macro. Lets say I start on A4 which is the heading of Column D..below it are a bunch of records at the end of the records is a space. I need it to stop there. Then do the same for Column G, I, etc. I would like it to copy each column and paste in a new workbook.

Im trying to set up an active running inventory sheet where: (A)the progressive daily sheet cells reference back to the corresponding master sheet cells fluctuating the master values, (B) the same progressive daily sheet cells reference back to a cummulative totals-cell based on whether I added or subtracted inventory. I want to make a copy of the blank "sheet 2" with all of the formulas and move it to the end of the workbook each day and enter new values which will reference back to the master sheet so that I can click on a date sheet and see an individual day's values or click on the master sheet to see the fluctuating inventory on-hand and the cummulative +/- totals of all days combined. I've got a couple hundred individual cells to reference. I've tried and tried but I can't make it work. Heres what I need to do:
I need to reference individual cells from "sheet 2,3,etc" back to a corresponding cell in a master sheet. But I need the values in each cell in "sheet 2,3,ETC" to increase or decrease the corresponding cell values in the master sheet. For example: If the value in the master sheet B5 is 200. Then in sheet 2, I enter +50 in B5, I need the master sheet cell B5 to increase by 50 to 250. I also need a way to decrease the cell value in the master sheet B5 if I enter a negative value -50 in sheet 2 B5. I also want to know if I can reference the same cell values entered in "sheet 2,3,etc cell B5" back to totals columns C5 for adding inventory or D5 for subtracting inventory in the master sheet where the master totals columns would reflect cummulative totals added or subtracted. For example: if the value in sheet 2 B5 is +50, then the value in Master sheet C5 would add 50 to a progressive total. But if the value in sheet 2 B5 is -50 then the value in master sheet D5 would add -50 to a progressive total.

A1 is the code, take the total(B) and calculate the base(C) on the percentage given in the G, net = B-C. for A2 and A3 it is the same process.
For A0 the total (B) is equal to Base(C) and calculate the net on the given percentage in G.

I'm not great anyways with VBA Macro.Effectively, here is my issue. I have a spreadsheet which is really badly designed.In one column I have multiple numbers separated by a comma. I need this data separated into new individual rows, but at the same time, copying the data in the other columns in that row to the new row.
Example of what I have:

I have a macro which I have been successfully using for a while and it's served me well. But now I have far too much data on my source file (55-60k rows) and I only need data the data if Column C is "AB". I'm the first to admit that I know nothing about macros.
If anyone can tell me how to make this only copy the rows where Coulumn C is "AB".

I have 2 columns of data E and F. Column E has 11 different words that randomly repeat, Column F has 10 years of dates, about 1,000 entries (10/11/12 format). Both columns values come from formulas.
I am trying to copy cells E & F to columns K & L starting in row 2 only if there is is data in column E (one of the 11 words) and skipping all others rows. Both the E & F values of tthe row must be copied together, i.e if text is in E45, then copy E45 and F45 into column K and L starting with K2 & L2. This is a task which will be repeated multiple times as data is replaced in columns A-D.

I am trying to come up with a way to print out data that is variable in the amount of rows to print.
1. Cells C1 thru M6 is heading of report
2. Cells C7 thru M400 all have formulas and display information only when criteria in Column C in each row is met, if condition is not met it displays no informtion. (There lies my problem).
I need a way to print out only the area that information is displayed in and skip the areas that are not displayed. (Currently I have hard coded the print range using the largest report)

I have to copy the formatting from "rows G&H" for 40,000+ lines. Is there an easier way than doing the formatting then highlighting the first two cells (G4 and H4) then dragging the bottom right hand corner down 40,000 lines?

I have a spreadsheet (see attached) that has city names, accessories sku number and quantity sold for each week. I run this report every week and when the spreadsheet has empty rows which I delete, but there are some rows that also have partial data that can be deleted. Anyway, I would like to copy name of first store (los Angeles) in this sample and copy down till the next city comes up (San Diego) and do the same all the way down. I have total of 20 stores and I wondering if you guys know of a formula or vba code that could help me with this.
