VBA Macro To Loop Text To Columns Through All Rows Of Data?

I am trying to get a macro to run in excel that takes a simple text to columns command in one line of data and runs the command on a loop through however many rows of data there happen to be.
I've attached two screenshots - one with what I've got now (Before.jpg) and what I'd like to have after the macro runs (After.jpg). The code below is what I used to get the first text to column breakout, which I can hopefully run on a loop to breakout anything in the DEPT column that contains a "/". It can ignore the rows that only have one department to begin with.
Eventually I'll want to create another macro that transposes the breakout text back into the DEPT column and populates it with the corresponding data, but I figure I'll take things one step at a time.
I need to query a master spreadsheet and pull out all the rows on it that have the same name as I have in cell A1 of my spreadsheet
e.g.
Myworkbook, sheetname = queries Cell A1 = "ABC"
The Macro queries the "test Data" workbook (c:myfolder estdata.xls) "sheet x" and looks in column A for ABC, if it finds ABC it will copy the row and paste it into Myworkbook, sheetname = queries. There are often several rows of data that need to be copied that all have "ABC" in column A.
Also, in column B of the test data workbook, is a number, the highest value denotes the "version" of the data, the highest number is always the latest version of data that should be retrieved, e.g. if 9 the highest value in column B then all data that has ABC in column A and has 9 in column B should be retrieved, all other records should be ignored.
I guess this is a sort of a macro loop but not too sure how to do it.
If the row contains a text like ABC in multiple columns in a sheet it has to copy the whole column from that sheet and paste special into another sheet.
I am trying to count the # of rows in a spreadsheet in which there is non-blank text data in 2 separate columns. For instance, if the spreadsheet looked like the one below (dashes just for formatting purposes):
NAMES-------THIS-------------THAT Mary-------some text--------some more text John-------<blanks>---------just text here Sue--------just some here-----<blanks> Dave-------something--------something else Adam------<blanks>-----------<blanks>
The total # of rows with something in both the "THIS" and "THAT" columns above would therefore be 2.
I am stuck with looping columns and rows.What i am trying to do is... I have to loop through columns E3 to G3 and also rows of each column and check for a condition inside the column.How can i achieve that? I have the following structure.. How can i code it?

I have a list of several hundred columns, beginning with column "G:G", with varying numbers of rows of data in column - each row dipicting a monthly data point. I'd like to average the numbers in each column (need to average over the appropraite time-frame) and compare that average with the corresponding average (same time-frame) for benchmark (column"F:F"). The problem is I don't have the same number of data points in each column; some have data points for every month for the past 33 years, and some just a few years; almost all have differing beginning and ending dates as well.
I have a worksheet with 2 columns. The first column contains names and the second column contains numbers associated with the name.
How can I specify a name, go through the sheet to find all the occurances of that name and then paste all the numbers associated with that name in another worksheet in a set position.
What I am trying to do is to look at specific columns, then copy the data in that column from specific rows from sheet 1 (named TIA) to sheet Macro1. I think uploading a sample of the spreadsheet would be useful.
Unfortunately the spreadsheet is a living document and continues to grow in both column and rows.. The data extracted at this point is from row 7, 23-60 and copied into the new worksheet starting at A1.
Requirements:
1) Row 5 states the macro the column will be associated with. There can be more that one macro associated to a column.
2) When column is found, data from row 7 column (x) will be copied to sheet macro1 EX. If Cell G5 = macro1 then copy data from G7 to sheet macro1 at A1
3) When column is found, data from row 23 column (x) will be copied to sheet macro1
I am using Excel 2010 and need a macro that can convert data from rows to columns. I have read several posts about this subject but have no experience with macros and don't know how to change the macros to fit my scenario.
There are up to 4 vehicles/locations per account number, and I need 1 account number per row (the dots above are for spacing only and not part of the actual data).
I could do this manually but because I have so many rows of data it could take days or weeks. Is there a macro out there that can do this??
i have written a macro to parse data in to four columns using the text to columns fixed width option, but unfortunately the data i get changes its spacing and configuration every day, meaning that the fixedwidth columns dont separate the data correctly. below is how it looks some of the time.
My problem is that data from previous applications are "bleeding" into new applications while running my macro.
I am utilizing the macro below to paste an application and then to convert the application to upper case in addition to some additional formating changes. After performing the macro I save the newly created document to a different folder. With new applications I repeat the above steps.
I tried to incorporate the clearing of the clipboard in my macro using: Edit=>office clipboard=>clear all. The keys strokes during the " record macro" process do not seem to record in the macro.

I have a macro that would check data in Column A and validate if a particular number is repeating, then for that number go to column B, Take the Values from there go to a new sheet and paste the values in a row.

I've taken over a spreadsheet that has a macro in it. However it doesn't seen to function properly. The big issue with the Macro is that it is only running for the first 80 lines of data. I can't have a restricted range as the number of lines could increase/decrease each month depending on activity. I've attached the code.

I need to be able to run a macro that will find the word “report“ within a cell in column A. Once found it I then need it to delete that row, the row above and then the 9 rows underneath it. Once it has deleted that data I need it to then move to the next and so on.

I have a spreadsheet with a list of names from cell A5 to A? - can be as many as 130 names or as few as 20. I have to create individual spreadsheets with the persons name as part of the filename. I have 3 subroutines which work manually ( CreateFile, LookUp and NewWorkbookSave ) so that I can generate individual files for those users who require them. I think I just need a basic Nested For Loop code. I have a list of in column A, from A1:A537 and another list in column B, for B1:B50. I want to add a column that concatenates, each item in Column A to B1 (so 537 rows), then again each item in Column A to B2, another 537 rows, etc.. this loop is repeated 50 times, one for each name in column B.
I have a workbook with part data. Each worksheet is an individual part with its data on that sheet. I'm trying to move certain rows between two key words to a separate wb/ws for the top key word. Data looks something like this:
As I said, each sheet could have only one supplier or a dozen. The number of rows between each supplier also vary. I was trying something like this to do what I need to do:
I see where my logic problem is: It's looping through a3 - lastrow, but I'm going one row extra each time, so when it goes to the top of the loop again, I'm one row to far starting off. I originally did this because if there's only 1 supplier on the sheet, there won't be another supplier name below it to give me my range.
Let's say sheet - "delivery" - has a row1 that includes all possible delivery days. So A1 is 1.9.2013, B1 is 15.9.2013, C1 is 1.10.2013 and so on.
I want to make a macro, that will gradually go through whole row 3 in sheet "delivery" and look for "A1" date in sheet "Orders". Sheet "orders" have for example in column B the date of delivery, and in column C product of the delivery.
I want the macro to find all deliveries with "A1" date, and paste all products that will be delivered on this day under cell A1 (sheet delivery). then move on to the cell B1 (sheet delivery) - find all orders in sheet orders, that will be delivered on B1 date, and list all products with this delivery date under cell B1 (sheet delivery).

Unfortunately simple Pivot table is not able to do this simple list.
I have a cell that has a comma separated value that is 354 fields long. As such, if I use the Text To Columns feature to split the data at each column, I lose several columns (because excel cannot have that many columns).
How can I break the data at the comma, but have it list in rows instead?
I need to be able to locate some important columns in a table of raw data (the column locations are not fixed).
I would like to identify the locations (based on the heading values in Row 1) and store them as Public variables. The Match function works fine for this, however I'd like to make a simple loop to set these variables (opposed to repeating the function for each).
In the example below, I can't figure out how to reference "List1(Count)" as the name of the variable I'm trying to set.

So after running FindFields(), the Test1() macro should give "1 - 2 - 3" (for example) as the locations of the fields in Sheet1. But currently this doesn't work.
In the code below I find rows containing "$$ #" at the far left and process it. For all the remaining rows I want to delete the entire row, my macro only deletes some rows. Obviously I am not grasping something about looping throught the rows to delete unwanted data.

I can't figure out how to record the macro to tell it to then skip the blank line, collect the next set of data, and put it in the next row. I can do it for two, but then it just replaces the first two with the next two and I lose data.
I have working code that returns a row number within a for loop based on parameters I set.
Each time the for loop runs I would like to store this row number, then after the loop has finished, delete all stored rows.

Lines with a * are the bits I can't work out. I've been trying to understand arrays by reading posts on what other people have done, but I can't fit (or fully understand) the reDims, or reDim preserves into my code. I've seen what appear to be quite complex ways involving uBounds and LBounds, but unfortunately I can't see how to use them.
All I want is to simply keep adding a row numbers to a variable, (i.e. row 2, 5, 20, 33, 120, etc) and then delete those specific rows.

I need to run through all columns and for each column find the the ranges (there are more ranges and they are seperated with a blank row) with numerical data and then calculate the median and thereafter continue down to find the next range with numerical data in that row and so on.

I am attaching a sample excel sheet showing what I need to do.In the first tab, I have a list that includes duplicate rows (first column only). I want to remove those duplicate rows but I don't want to lose the data in the following columns which can be unique or duplicates as well.

Keep in mind that the actual source file I am working with could have up to 50000 row, and the expected results could be around 2000 rows. So nothing can be done manually.
need to create a macro that inserts 3 rows below each existing row of data and simply copies and pastes that data into each of the empty rows before moving on to the next unique row and doing the same thing again.

I have a set of data that has a store number in cell A1, the store name in B1 and then the store address in C1, C2, and C3. This pattern repeats for all ~300 stores. I am trying to get all of the store data on one row per store.
