VBA - Button Transfers Data But Not Before Vlookup

I have a series of items that are transferred to a data table upon the click of a button. One of those items is a location.
I would like the location looked up from a different table and then have the corresponding group transferred, instead of the original location.

I have a userforms which transfers data to protected sheets.The userforms worked until i protected each sheet.Can there be any code which i add to the current userform code so it can still transfer the data to protected sheets
The other issue also is now that the sheets are protected the Outlining also does not work.Can this also be changed so the Outlining works on protected sheets
I have 5 userforms which all transfer data.

I have a macro that transfers (copy/paste) information from one master file to several other individual files. The macro works, but I would like
to enhance it by have it spit out errors in the process as follows: if cell A42 on file VP1.xls is not equal to Cell C35 on file Masterfile.xls then make cell E2 ERROR and fomat E2 bold-red, otherwise do nothing. The macro should continue regardless, I just want it to spot errors.
I think this is pretty simple is just a matter of inserting an IF formula in the macro which is something i don't know how to do yet.

I'm trying to do a Vlookup on a file that gets automatically downloaded to the computer from a website. The data is in lots of different data sets, like so:

Every month a new row of data gets added to each table, meaning the start and end cells of the array also shift each time.

Now that the calculations are working, with the press of a button, I need to be able to select a range of dates and copy all lines within the range to a seperate sheet with the desired name under the same headings they currently reside under. I have included some modified code that is being used in another spreadsheet that was created for me, but I do not pretent to understand all of it and I no longer work with the creator of the spreadsheet. How do I use a button to open the form for date selections and entering the name of the new sheet, and then use the start button on the form to begin the matching and copying to a new sheet? If there is an easier way I am all for that too.

I have a workbook, which is having many sheets but I am sending here two sheets only.

I have tried nested ifs and vlookup to compare two sets of data and change the first set of data if it is than the first. But leave it alone if it either is the same or does not exist in the new set of data. It sometimes seems to work but i find it is not consistant. It looks simple but i think i am missing something.
if column A has identifiers and column B has results then it should work if the identifiers in column C are found in column A and it looks to see if column B and D are the same, then change B if different but leave it if either it is the same or not there.

Basically I have a spreadsheet that I'm using to track invoices from a particular vendor. I have one worksheet that I've setup to mimic the look and feel of the invoices that come in. Once the users input the data (Account number, Invoice Number, Invoice Date, and each Invoice line item, Quantity and Price) into the worksheet, I want them to be able to hit a button which will copy the data they just entered into another worksheet within the same workbook, but have the data dumped into more of a table view (ie. Column A would contain all the Account numbers, Column B would contain all of the Invoice Numbers, etc.)
Finally after they've hit the button (which copies the data to the other worksheet), I want to clear the data they've input, so they can start inputting the data from the new invoice.

I have spreadsheet with some very basic formulas that work out sale prices based on people entering buy prices. (It works out the % margin). There are certain areas where the user enters the data - and does not touch any other part of the sheet.
What I am trying to do is add a button which will remove the data from these cells. Almost - a start again button or refresh button. This way it will remove previously entered data - without removing formulas from the cells where the calculation happens. So basically there are cells that a user will enter data - and it is these cells I would like to be able to clear with a button or similar without affecting other cells.

I have 3 worksheets, one worksheet is a summary worksheet that gives totals for what the user chooses... like Actual vs Budget or Actual vs Prior... etc. When we are in our meetings a common question is where did these numbers come from?
I would like to create a macro button that when you are on a cell you can click the button and the macro well take you to the destination cell. Is there a way you can write a formula in to the macro that would use the formula in the current cell and take you to where that number comes from?

I am trying to set up a button that can be used to refresh data from an external source. The problem is that I'm not sure what to put in the area that I am using the "query" variable

I have a togglebutton for an excel sheet in use for scoring psychological tests. When pressed, the button higlights the cells where a raw score is inserted.
What I need is a code to higlight the togglebutton when pressed, eg. green (colorindex 4). The button is white. How to do this?

I received this code from an example I found once upon a time that was originally submitted by someone else. Right now the code enters the current date in a cell of the same row as the checkbox when it's checked. I need to revise it, or come up with something similar, that will reference the value of a cell when it is in the same row as the button (from the Forms toolbar) that is clicked to activate the macro. First of all, I don't know how to reference a Forms button in VBA.

I want a Macro that I would like to assign it to Control Button on Spreadsheet 1. When the user clicks on this Button only "Selected data" i.e. Cells A3, B4, C5, E5 will be transferred to Spreadsheet 2. The data transferred into Spreadsheet 2 should be inserted in the first available row and hence not override other data. Also, I have a question, both files will be sitting on the same shared network path however,for the update to happen to we need to have both files opened at the same time? If yes can we design something to update Spreadsheet 2 without having it opened?

I have been working on a userform for entering in and editing data in a spreadsheet, but I'm stuck with the code for updating the edited data.
I have two pages on the Userform, one for adding a new entry, and one for editing an existing entry.
On the page for editing an existing entry, I have a combobox that displays information in the text boxes based the selection. What I need to be able to do is click save once I have made changes to the information in the text boxes and then have that information saved in the spreadsheet.
I have figured out all of the other buttons in the userform, but I am struggling with this last one. Here is my spreadsheet with some sample information entered in : ExcelFile.xls

Column E is my commmodity reference. There is 15 different commodities. So on Sheet 2 I created 15 buttons, all name according to one of the commodities.

I've made a file with 4 active sheets.
Form - to submit the data of items incl 2 buttons to add the data in 2 sheets and 1 email button wich is active and working.
I would like when the data is been added in the form cells that when by example when i push the button for new assets these data in correct order be placed in the new asset sheet horizontal and in the right column. Not with a pivot table i need to keep the layout of the top line in new asset sheet as it is by procedure.
Same for the asset disposal button and sheet.

How can I take the main data sheet and have the information transfer to another sheet? It will be transferring to a "condensed" version with limited columns and when I open the condensed version a like pops open. Then asking if I would like to update this workbook that is contains links to other data sources.

I have a simple form built, but the data validation is only partially working. I've attached a sample workbook.
basically, when a user tries to put in a letter in the GP interaction field rather than a number, it prompts user to re-enter. This part is working, except when the submit button has been clicked, the field clears. the field clears, it prompts the user to re-enter.

The data in 4 specific cells in C:UsersOfficeDropboxWB1 needs to (upon clicking command button) be copied to the next available blank cell in 4 specefic rows in C:usersOfficeDropboxWB2.

I am making a timesheet which has a UserForm with textbox and 3 command buttons namely Search, IN and OUT. The program works like this, user type his id no., then clicks on search, once id match command buttons for IN and OUT are enabled. User clicks on IN button then current time which tags as NOW() will be pasted on the worksheet. Same goes with the OUT button. I was able to make them work that way. The problem here now is, the data being entered are vulnerable for data-re entry. What I mean is, if a certain user has already a recorded IN time, if he clicks on the IN time again, the data will be overwritten. Is there a way that once the user has already a recorded IN time, the IN button will be disabled for that user since he has already a recorded IN data?

Is it possible to configure the workbook so the user can view the data in the worksheet from the form and I can hide the actual worksheet so that the data in the workshhet cannot be changed? Or maybe there is a better way all together??
I am attaching a copy of the worksheet.
Second, Is there a better way to input a code that would allow a search for duplicates in certain fields to be flagged (other than the color coding?)

I currently have a button on a worksheet that loads a userform. I have code written that's not in a in a separate module but in the user form itself. It uses the information entered on the user form screen. When I try to reference data that's on a sheet other than the one that the button is located on, I get a "select method of range class failed" error. I assume that this problem has to do with the button macro being located on a different sheet than the data. Is there an easy fix?

I am wanting to create a push button function with a query attched that will allow the user to input certain criteria with the end result in sorting the column containing the criteria.
I have attached a sample of my form:
My desire is the user will have the ablity to push the button and a input box will appear and they will be able to enter the data to search for. And the column with sort showing only the information required.
What I am having difficulties with is creating the pop-up input box. A simple macro with a sort or filter will not work as the data criteria is not the same everytime.

I am currently using 2 options button (radio button) to display different sets of data interactively. 1st option to show data for Male, 2nd option to show data for Female. No problem for both as I am using "choose" =CHOOSE($M$6,J56,J49) formula to display them on row 11th to 17th. But if I were to add in 3rd option called "Both", how do I need to do so? I am expecting the display to go beyond row 18th to show both Male and Female data. There is a chart too that links to these row 11th - 17th currently.
