Button Corresponding With Macro Located On Different Sheet Than Data

I currently have a button on a worksheet that loads a userform. I have code written that's not in a in a separate module but in the user form itself. It uses the information entered on the user form screen. When I try to reference data that's on a sheet other than the one that the button is located on, I get a "select method of range class failed" error. I assume that this problem has to do with the button macro being located on a different sheet than the data. Is there an easy fix?
I am running excel 2010 with windows 7. I created a macro in sheet 1 and I wish to activate the macro from sheet 2 using a form button. I have entered the code below. I know how to perform this function on a more simple macro like adding names to cells. This code is a bit more complex I just dont know where to start.
I have a table of data, every entry in the table is different. I need a way in a single cell to determine what column the data is in (and a way to get the row it's in would be nice too), some way to do VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP in reverse.
In the attached example I need a function that can take dog and return "1", "A" or even the header "Animal", if another similar function can return the row, that would be nice also but if I can get the column I can get the row. Example
I've tried a few things with creating an array formula to do matches across multiple columns and I can make a multi-cell array that will flag the right column with the right column number, but any attempt to sum/max/match this array formula returns 0 or #N/A
On a first sheet, I have a list of cities where physicians travel along with an autofilter. On that same worksheet, I have a cell where users can input a zipcode.
On a second (hidden) sheet, a function calculates and displays in column F the distance in miles between the user-input zip code and all the cities in 4 states. The cities are listed in column D.
I need to filter all the cities on the first sheet (the ones where the docs travel) based on their distance from the user-input zipcode - namely all the cities located less than 150 miles from that zipcode.
I am wondering, in excel 2003 is it possible to randomly select two numbers from one column, say column b9:b45, that are random numbers, and selected by two different font colors. In other words: b9=1348, b10=1349, b11=1350, b12=1351, b13=1352, b14=1353.
Say we press a macro button, and in field B50 one radom black colored number is selected of a field of say 30 numbers that are all black in that column, and in b51, one red number is selected, in a field of 30 red numbers. We want to used this macro to select winners simulating a raffle drawing.
This works fine, my only problem is if the button that is created is actually named Button2 or 3, etc. Is there a way to assign the new button to a variable, or would it be an object? this way it wouldn't matter what it was named.
Now that the calculations are working, with the press of a button, I need to be able to select a range of dates and copy all lines within the range to a seperate sheet with the desired name under the same headings they currently reside under. I have included some modified code that is being used in another spreadsheet that was created for me, but I do not pretent to understand all of it and I no longer work with the creator of the spreadsheet. How do I use a button to open the form for date selections and entering the name of the new sheet, and then use the start button on the form to begin the matching and copying to a new sheet? If there is an easier way I am all for that too.
I want to make a "return" button that follows the user from the start sheet to other sheets and acts as a "return to the start sheet" button. I tried just recording a macro and cut/pasting the button from one sheet to the next, but apparently when you do this the button name changes.

above is the sheet template we use on a monthly basis. I would to like to use a command button which will run a macro creating a new sheet with the sheet name each month. The idea is to have a text box and a command button,enter the month in the text box and click the button. A sheet for the month to create at end.
let's say I run a macro from a button on sheet 3, macro process on sheet 10. Is there a way that the macro would automatically go back to sheet 3? Like a "Back" button on IE. I can't code Sheets("sheet 3").Select because I want it to do the same thing on sheet 4,5,6...
Basically I have a spreadsheet that I'm using to track invoices from a particular vendor. I have one worksheet that I've setup to mimic the look and feel of the invoices that come in. Once the users input the data (Account number, Invoice Number, Invoice Date, and each Invoice line item, Quantity and Price) into the worksheet, I want them to be able to hit a button which will copy the data they just entered into another worksheet within the same workbook, but have the data dumped into more of a table view (ie. Column A would contain all the Account numbers, Column B would contain all of the Invoice Numbers, etc.)
Finally after they've hit the button (which copies the data to the other worksheet), I want to clear the data they've input, so they can start inputting the data from the new invoice.

I need to get the data from the sheet 1 added to the sheet 2 by clicking on the ADD DATA button in the sheet 1. The sheet 1 will be filled in multiple times like a form by the users, so once the data is added to the sheet 2 I would like sheet 1 to have no data filled in the column to the right. Now I need to transfer this data as values, however there are certail cells which are merged and therefore I get a prompt as I cannot paste as values using Paste Special-> Values..

I have two buttons in my excel ("Fund Set up" & "Broker Set up") sheet1. so what i need is when i click the button named as "Fund set up" a input box should appear as "Enter the volume" and the user has to input the volume..For ex, user has entered the volume as 2. So whenever i click any of this two buttons a input box should appear to get the volume and once the volume is entered by the user an entry should be populated as above in a new line.
I am looking to find a way and synthesize code that will prompt the user for text data when he/she clicks a radio button, then place that text data in a "Notes" worksheet within the same workbook. Given that there are multiple radio buttons, with options of "OK" and "attention needed" (it is a checklist of maintenance items), I also need to find a way to have each note listed sequentially in the notes worksheet. My questions: Is this possible using macros? Can you steer me in the right direction? (change event, inputbox, then what?)
Context: I have a spreadsheet that contains a list of employee names and their certifications. I want to be able to assign a button to each employee in column B with a macro that is able to zip files from a folder that contains that employees name.
The following code assigns buttons to each employee in column B. At the moment the code I have is able to assign the macro "Zip" to each button.

Now, this Zip macro is able to zip the file for the employee "Anthony Tran". However I need it to be able to recognise which employee's button I've clicked and search the same files as above except with that employees name instead of "Anthony Tran".
If it makes things easier, the code for creating buttons for each employee is able to name that button as the employees name that it represents.
This is probably really straight forward but cant see why it happens, the following macro works fine when called by a button created by the form toolbar but doesnt when called by a command button, get the runtime error 1004, "select method of range class failed"
I have attached a 97-2003 .xls file with data for multiple store locations on sheet 1, and the desired result on sheet 2. I am actually using excel 2007, but I dont think I need any special features that it provides.
I will try to explain the issue here without opening the attachment.
