I have a user form which has a field txtA . I would like to add a button next to this field which when pushed will copy the contents of txtA to the clipboard so that it can be pasted into anoth application.

Basically I have a spreadsheet that I'm using to track invoices from a particular vendor. I have one worksheet that I've setup to mimic the look and feel of the invoices that come in. Once the users input the data (Account number, Invoice Number, Invoice Date, and each Invoice line item, Quantity and Price) into the worksheet, I want them to be able to hit a button which will copy the data they just entered into another worksheet within the same workbook, but have the data dumped into more of a table view (ie. Column A would contain all the Account numbers, Column B would contain all of the Invoice Numbers, etc.)
Finally after they've hit the button (which copies the data to the other worksheet), I want to clear the data they've input, so they can start inputting the data from the new invoice.

When you click on a command button what would the vba code be to copy the data from the active excel workbook active sheet so that it ends up in the active word document?
I want the values from:
Cell A1 value in Excel to bookmark name "Text1"
Cell A2 value in Excel to bookmark name "Text2"
Cell A3 value in Excel to bookmark name "Text3"
to be copied into the active word document.

I have master data in sheet1 with 4 headings (EmpNo.; Name; Grade; Status) and i put a push button beside it. what i want to happen is that, if i push the button, all data with a value of "Inactive" in sheet1 will be COPIED to sheet2 with the heading but only the EmpNo and Name will be transfered to sheet2.

I am using a worksheet to scan or enter students into a school event and determine their eligibility to participate in the event. Everything is working great but I need to do the following on Enter Student button click:
1) Cut scanned value (ID number) from input Cell A1
2) Paste value into next empty cell in column A (Rows build as students are inputted)
3) Copy Eligibility status (text) from column F into A6
I have a limited VBA/Macro background and have NEVER got a button to work.

I would like to use a command button to copy a row of data from one workbook to a column in another workbook. The row of data will have different values on a daily basis but will always be B2 through BE2. I would like the copied row of data pasted in the next available column to the left in the other work book.

I have a row with about 230+ columns, a little over half of the columns have complex IF or Vlookup formulas. The goal would be to click a button on a UserForm (to create a new Client) to copy all row formulas to the next empty row.

I have sheet1 having two formulas. Ideally I can copy and paste the formula to the entire column, However this then populates , say 3000 cells unnecessarily which slows down excel performance or increases size of the file.
I am looking for a vba ( this is used to open userform) To include copy formula from filled cell above to next empty row ( cells will be in column K & L)
So every-time userform is opened, the formula is copied to next empty row.

I have a simple command button in my worksheet that will insert a blank row and copy formatting, but not the formulas. How do I adjust the code so that the formulas are copied to the new blank row? This is currently what I have:

Sheet 2 contains a drop down list containing names, would like to assign a Macro to a button on same sheet that would refer to sheet 3 based on certain criteria.
Sheet 3 contains columns A - K of data. 2 criteria, data in column D and column K. Column D would be the same as names in the drop down list, whereas column K refers to a constant, either y or n.
Example: If D contains "Cheddar" and K contains "Y", copy and paste A:K to Sheet1, preferably starting at row 7.

i have a button that copies data from cell
A5:K5, and pastes it in Sheet2 of my workbook.
The data is ordered like this

I have like 40 buttons attached to 4 rows each. And in that group of rows, i have some cells with an IF= formula, and some minor coding.
The problem is: If i press button 3,4,17,29 before i press every other button before that. I get an reference code fail at the cell.
If i press the buttons in order. Like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 - it appears smoothly.
More info: The button copies data from for example A5:K5 and pastes it into the next blank row of sheet2. But i want to be able to press button 2 before i press button1, without getting an error in my =IF cell.
If i press the 40 buttons in a row, and then starts to mix up the button pressing. It appears smoothly.

figuring out a code for a command button.
I have 2 sheets open with the following set up:
Sheet1
A2 = Name (chosen off sheet2)
A3 = Job Title (chosen off sheet2)
A4 = Department (chosen off sheet2)
Sheet2
Column A = List of names
Column B = Corresponding Job Title
Column C = Corresponding Department
I need to be able to choose a name off sheet2, click the command button and it send selected name, job title, and department to sheet1 to the respective cells.

Now that the calculations are working, with the press of a button, I need to be able to select a range of dates and copy all lines within the range to a seperate sheet with the desired name under the same headings they currently reside under. I have included some modified code that is being used in another spreadsheet that was created for me, but I do not pretent to understand all of it and I no longer work with the creator of the spreadsheet. How do I use a button to open the form for date selections and entering the name of the new sheet, and then use the start button on the form to begin the matching and copying to a new sheet? If there is an easier way I am all for that too.

I am trying to develop a system to allow me select different parts from multiple sheets and then add them into a bill of material on a separate sheet.

I have written some VB script the best I can and it includes a 'commandbutton' to make it easy for the user of the workbook to use.
This is how it works:
Go to 'Step 1 - Manifold 8640' tab and highlight one of the yellow cells.Once you have selected a yellow cell, you then click the 'select' button above.The value (along with other values) are copied to the 'Smart Calc' sheet.Then you go to 'Step 2 - Gland Plate' tab, select a yellow cell, click the 'Select' button.Notice how the 'Step 2 - Gland Plate' value is entered into a different group in the 'Smart Calc' sheet - this is great................BUT
The issue I am having is:
If the user goes to 'Step 1 - Manifold 8640' tab, highlights the desired yellow cell then presses the 'Select' button twice, it will add two lines of data in the relevant 'Step 1 - Manifold 8640' section....This is ok.But when the user clicks a third time, the 'Step 1' data will overflow into the 'Step 2' section of the 'Smart Calc' tab...because the script tells the data to look for the next available line to write to. This is what I am trying to avoid!
Instead, i would like a message box to popup to indicate to the user that they cannot add anymore data into into the 'Step 1' or 'Step 2' sections of the 'Smart Calc' tab until they clear the data from within the relevant section in 'Smat Calc'.
I would like to set limits on where each 'Step 1' or 'Step 2' data is written to the 'Smart Calc' sheet (so it is within its relevant section). As you can see the script basically looks for the next available cell but this isn't really good when the data 'overflows'.
Note that you are able to highlight the yellow cells in the 'Smart Calc' tab and press the delete key, it will delete the data to clear the line. That is how i designed it to work so if the user makes a mistake they are able to just delete the relevant line and enter new data.

I have a frame (Frame1) on a userform added using Microsoft Forms 2.0 Frame. I have added option buttons to the frame named OptionButton1 thru OptionButton4. I am trying to add code where certain cells are copied and pasted depending on which optbutton is selected. I tried the following code but because the option button is a frame object it doesn't seem to trigger the event.

I have spreadsheet with some very basic formulas that work out sale prices based on people entering buy prices. (It works out the % margin). There are certain areas where the user enters the data - and does not touch any other part of the sheet.
What I am trying to do is add a button which will remove the data from these cells. Almost - a start again button or refresh button. This way it will remove previously entered data - without removing formulas from the cells where the calculation happens. So basically there are cells that a user will enter data - and it is these cells I would like to be able to clear with a button or similar without affecting other cells.

I have 3 worksheets, one worksheet is a summary worksheet that gives totals for what the user chooses... like Actual vs Budget or Actual vs Prior... etc. When we are in our meetings a common question is where did these numbers come from?
I would like to create a macro button that when you are on a cell you can click the button and the macro well take you to the destination cell. Is there a way you can write a formula in to the macro that would use the formula in the current cell and take you to where that number comes from?

I have a togglebutton for an excel sheet in use for scoring psychological tests. When pressed, the button higlights the cells where a raw score is inserted.
What I need is a code to higlight the togglebutton when pressed, eg. green (colorindex 4). The button is white. How to do this?
