Annual Leave / Vacancy Planner

I have 7 teams (82 staff in total) staff who work for several production line. we currently record all leave on the wall calender. I want start recording these on a spreadsheet and I wonder if any of you have already designed a annual leave planner that I could have a copy?

Staff can request for 1/2 annual leave as we all full day. Each Team is listed on a seperate sheet and if a team has more than 2 person on leave, it will go red.

Yearly Planner With Only Mondays Dates Displayed

I wish to have a simple planner displaying the academic year with only mondays' dates.

ROW 3 displays the dates
Column B is Week 1
Cell B3 is the first date (10.08.09)
Cell C3 should read 17.08.09
Cell D3 should read 24.08.09
ETC

I have managed to do it using autofill before but I can't get it to do it now. Is there a preferred way to achieve this?

** array formulas need to be entered using the key combination of CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER).

Hold down both the CTRL key and the SHIFT key then hit ENTER.

The logic of the formula is:

The max Sunday date within the date range minus the min Monday date within the date range +1 = total days divided by 7 (days in a full week) = full weeks

6 Months Ahead If Falls On Monday If Not Next Monday Date

I am currently using this formula =DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+6,DAY(A1)) to get me 6 months ahead from a certain date. There is a new problem that has arose for me. I need a formula that will give me 6 months from a certain date if it falls on a Monday if the 6 months does not fall on a Monday then give me the next Monday date.
for example 6 months from 1/2/2007 is 7/2/2007 which falls on a Monday which is fine but, If the start date was 1/3/2007 this falls on a Tuesday so I would need the next Monday date 7/9/2007.

I am using Excel 2010 and I need a macro to delete all text from cells and leave the dates.

Below is an example of the contents of six cells. Some have just text, but some have text and dates.

1st Time Attender: 4/8/20121st Time Attender:1st Time Attender: 4/5/20122nd Time Attender:2nd Time Attender: 4/8/20122nd Time Attender: 4/5/2012

Excel 2010 :: Auto Population Of Fields Incremented By Dates In Weekly Segments

This is in Excel 2010

I have, what I believe a fairly complex request.

I have 3 fields that will be entered manually per row

Frequency in weeks = FQ Example FQ = 4 weeks
Duration in hours = DUR Example DUR = 3 hours
Start Date in Date Format = SD Example SD = 01/15/14

I have a series of columns starting at December 30, 2013. This represents the week of December 30th 2013.

It continues on until I hit the last week in December of 2015 which is 12/28/15

There are multiple rows with the 3 entries listed above (FQ, DUR & SD).

I need a function or macro that takes the Start Date (SD) for the specific row and finds it's location in the series of columns (for the example of 01/15/14, it would land on week 01/13/14). The program would enter the Duration (DUR) in that Column's Row (if that makes sense).

The program would then add the Frequency (FQ) to the Start Date (SD) and look for the next column (or Week) that it would fit in and once again enter the Duration (DUR) in that cell.

It would do this until it hits the 12/28/15 end date.

My problem now is I don't want to copy the header (all content of Cell 1 to 4) into all the pages.

Is there a way I can leave it the way it is and it will reflect on all the printouts?

I need to create a leave tracker wherein i will get the names of the person who want to take leave in that particular month. I have prepared a calendar to make an entry. I need to take care of the following things

1) The person must have sufficient leave balance available to take the leave. so i have to first check if he/she has sufficient leave balance.

2) There are four team leaders and each team has around 13-14 members. so if lots of people from the same team apply for the leave then they will not be eligible for leave. this i want to know in percentage as to how much percentage of people are taking leave from that particular team.

Chart Not Reflecting Data Source

In my table I have rounded my values to a particular number of decimal places. BUT, the bars of my chart have the length of the original numbers. This is especially ridiculous when in the table there are only (rounded) zeros, and in the chart I get several bars with different length. how to plot the bars in the same length as the numbers in the table are?

Weekly Stock Without Listing All Products Weekly

In the attached workbook, the CASTINGS worksheet has a SOH ( stock on hand) column.
It looks up the SOH from the SOH worksheet (column 3) for each product on order for that week.

But how do I make week 2 use the SOH figure minus the previous weeks order, IF there was an order?

And so on until week 52.

The problem I have found is what if that product wasnt ordered for the last 4 weeks? Maybe I need a temp worksheet with all the products listed for all the weeks and a running total of SOH weather it is ordered or not?

Insert All Dates For A Month Weekly When User Inputs Month And Year?

I have created a time sheet in excel (see attached) that will be part of the larger workbook that will be linked with other sheets to auto fill in most fields. I am wondering if there is a way for an user to enter a Month and a Year at the top of the page and that in turn automatically fills in the days of the month by week.

So in attached sheet there are 5 boxes representing 5 weeks in a month. So if we used May 2014 as an example I would like to know if there is a way that once May 2014 is entered in up to top that. Excel fills in the dates in Week #1 with under Thursday showing 1st, under Friday showing 2nd as on for the entire month...

So as the month go by all user has to do is state the month and year and excel fills in the weekly dates for each day in month.

I have a copy of a year planner that calculates the days of the month and adjusts them according to the year input into the header area.

Would anyone please modify it so that the first column reads August and the last column reads July (instead of Jan to Dec) and still maintain the calculations as required?

Manpower Resource Planner

In the past the Manpower Company has put out a yearly spreadsheet allowing an employer to keep track of employee time off. They are not making one this year. Looking at last years sheet, all the calculations are locked. Has anyone seen this sheet in the past and know how it works? You can put in something like v8 in a dated cell and excel subtracts 8 hours from a yearly vacation total. The v in front of the 8 stands for vacation and you can also put in a p for personal time etc..

Userform Interface For Holiday Planner

I have one workbook with two worksheets (Jan-JUly and Aug-Dec). I am using a userform to add data into worksheet ("Jan-July"). But I do not have any clue - How do I update the other worksheet (same data like name,join year etc)worksheet("Aug-Dec") at the same time. I used two worksheets because worksheet doesn't support 370 columns, and to make my life easy. UserForm add data into Column A to M (worksheets Jan-July), rest is done manually. I have also attached the file.

Outlook allows you to easily specify, but eExcel always treats Sunday as the first day of the week by default. Yes you can manipulate that within formulas and functions, but if you use the autofilter in excel and choose "this week" (or "next week", or "last week") excel considers Sunday as the first day of the week. I would like to know how (or if) this can be changed to Monday as the first day of the week.

Return Monday Of Given Week

I have seen this before and once figured it out, but I have not had any luck this time. I'm looking for a formula that will reference a cell that contains a date and will then return the date of the Monday of the given date's week. If I gave it a cell that contained 2/15/07 it would return 2/12/07. Probably a simple question but I think I must not be working on all cylinders. =)
